So those that have gone on and on about there is no hitching sorry but there is for me now. Not game breaking but surely annoying.

I have Soundblaster X-Fi.. maybe that causes hitching? I'm too lazy to test it out with old soundcard and don't even have LOTRO installed anymore.

I had hitching with my old graphics card (7900 GT) I have recently bought new card (8800GT) and haven't tried LOTRO with it. It may just be on NVIDIA cards? Possibly driver problem?

Please note, this is not caused by fraps software, but how it actually looks and plays in game

So...not any particular setup or OS, drivers, etc...it just exists...and people maybe just do not understand what it is..

 SOE even clarified it days later saying that the average space area could not HOLD a capital ship , the ONLY way to put in a capital ship was to completely rework ALL of JTL and they were not going to do that ever.

the cap ship isnt a lie SOE  told players its a lie the players told each other.

there is enough real reasons to be mad at SOE without making stuff up at this point.

Find a friend to quest with so you can for example chat while doing the quests. Alone it gets boring really fast

It is more like bears, undead, spiders, wolves/wargs, orcs and few trolls at 20-30 range. If I remember right.

There is no way around it, I took 2 month break back then.

Sounds like "oh noes my fotm class got nurfed! teh game suxx !" kind of post. Maybe add more details ?

Seems to me to be an era that has been largely ignored, and an MMO in this setting could be unique and interesting.

So here we are on the ISD, and all died horribly at the first boss (Bad luck). However we all cloned at the blackscale cloner and found ourselves (all of us) locked in the cloner. The instance hadnt reset like it was supposed to. Not only this, but grenades were somehow finding us in the cloner. So we all had no choice but to /unstick.

After getting back to the instance, we found that the boss guy had somehow got himself in the corridor between the cloner and the hanger force wall. So it still hadnt reset, he couldnt attack us and we couldnt attack him.

We spent the first hour sitting there trying to think of ways to unstick him, while taking damage from his grenades. Eventually he did come out, but we didnt have enough time to finish due to the usual long wait for the squad leader. We got to the second last boss with 1 minute remaining.

Obvious everyone isnt happy.

And the response from the GM when this was reported, after a 1-2 hour wait: "Whatever you did, don't do it again." 

Yeah...like I've been sayin'

What they did: pay $15 a month for this buggy game.

In SWG you just slap your mining facility on the ground and it mines for you the minerals?

LOTRO is not even close to perfect (IMO) for a PvE game it has too simple class and combat system.

OP said the crafting was "fun" in LOTRO. I don't know how some people find it "fun" to run around and grind million ore to advance in Metalworking. The actual mining does not bother me but when you have to run around like 4000 kilometers everyday after ore nodes, thats just stupid.

Tried the EQ2 trial few days ago and didn't like it. You have to start as fairy lol? After that I could start as some other race and I picked dwarf. Played 10-20 minutes and hit the exit. Graphics looked too "plastic" and somehow bit ugly.

It is nice to hear the devs listen the players atleast in this game. I would be playing this too if the class and combat system weren't so boring and dumbed down

ps. That last part is my opinion, no offence towards the current players.

I haven't really tried the NGE pvp so what is there to gain/loose ? I know that recording eats up some performance but is it really that bad (1-10 fps)?

WoW kinda spoiled me when it comes to fps and smooth working pvp.
