Jedi/Sith are on-bar with everyone else in combat (not alpha)

Somekind of restrictions for Jedi and some for Sith.. like not allowed to have anything really expensive or something like that?

I'm guessing "nobody leaves". Current SWG players are probably so used to getting screwed over and over again that they don't mind it anymore and take pretty much anything as "oh great changes/stuff".

Well theres World of Warcraft and yet there is no war, then theres Lord of the Rings and no Lords and ofc Age of Conan and you can't play as Conan. j/k

Isn't like every MMORPG out there turn based? Real-time FPS kind of combat wont work very well since not all have high speed connections.

I think the skill point system is the way to go.  Keep that but become a "class" through point allocation.  Then have a higher tier "class" or "classes" in higher lvls that rewards players who didn't make a hybrid and want to specialize in their class further.   You can be a hybrid but will never reach the 2nd tier of class.   Alternativley you could make a class for every hybrid combination and limit hybrids to only 2 classes. You can also have more than 2 tiers, 3 tiers even!  I think this would mix the long road leveling with the old school game.

++Don't Pinhole us into being a Jedi but make the Jedi route everything it should be (friggin awesome)

++Smugglers, Enginneers, Pilots, Soliders, Jedi, Diplomats.--- This would be a great start to the class base from their you could have 2nd and 3rd tier classes of off these (Hacker, Sniper, Bounty Hunter, Commander, Dark Side, Light Side,  all sorts of stuff.)

++I think Droids should be a playable "race"

++Open Space combat (giant space battles) and travel as well as vehicular combat and travel on planets.

++Seamless transition from Outer space to entering a planets atmoshpere and landing.  You would reaaly get an idea of how BIG the planet your landing on is and It would be cool to strafe enemies with my y wing.

++Within each class give extensive amount of things to do to make the game sandbox.  It would be awesome to have another game that runs like EVE, completely autonmously. 

++Unique crafting and "quests" for your chosen specialty.

+Reward exploration --give us so many planets and secret areas that there is an Explorer Class!  Let us unlock the secrets of the Star Wars world with interesting Lore behind it.

I think thats everything.  We will see though, I may be describing just my dream game

I just hope if they really are doing Star Wars MMO it wont be dumbed down and they don't try to bring it for xbox or any other console.

Wasn't the plot in KotOR2 that you were pretty much the only jedi left alive and some masters hiding around the galaxy? So the MMO (if its coming) could have no Jedi then? And how much were there Jedi before episode 2 and 3? like 40 or something?

I'm no expert in this matter as I have only seen the 6 movies and played KotOR1&2

Also I'm just guessing but most of that 5000 hours is coming from AFK macroing anyway since it's perfectly legal now?

btw what did you mean not far behind LOTRO? If I'm reading this right LOTRO has 2x more hours than SWG and is ranked 30.

I was reading the OBoards since I'm giving SWG another try and spotted this just moments ago.

You see, I paid good money out of my pocket to transfer 16 toons, some at a cost of $100 US because I was swapping toons between accounts as well as servers.

All I know that transfer for 1 character costs 50$? So I was thinking WTF? Someone just popped atleast 800$ and probably alot more to transfer characters in MMORPG

Character graphics are still pretty good if you don't move but everything else on the ground is just bad.

If you think SWG quests are boring try WOW,EQ2,AC,CONAN,and every other mmo because they are all basically the same with a different twist.

I think he means how the quests work in SWG make it boring. It goes like this "you need to kill 10 of these thiefs" and once you have done that another objective pops up "you need kill 15 of these commandos" even though you already killed like 30 commandos and after that another enemy type kill objective pops up and you already have killed about 50 of those so far.

Thats the typical mission and it's repeated to boredom in Legacy quest line.

Interesting. I guess it cannot be another Battlefront since there clearly reads Old Republic and it can't be KotOR3 since its suppose to be online game?

Ok game, very simple and cookie-cutter (I heard theres coming some fixing on that later). Graphics are pretty nice and a bit cartoony.

If you are into PVE theres lots of stuff to do but not much for PVP'er.
