There is no radar, and there is no one holding your hand. If your Spawning place get camped you must regain it little by little ~ did it just few hours before today ~.

It's not ballanced, and Axis is always overpopulated, so the Allies come to be the underdog.  I play Allied because its not so interesting visually - the Axis is very... Axisly, you know - but the hard work turning it on against an overpopulated side takes a lot of time and becomes interesting and dangerous, what i like more.

The game is not for everyone. But it is worth a try.

I will stay there for long. Allies are doing well this campaing. Hope we win :D

Simple.

If DF releases and is a good game I will apologize publicly in these forums. And after some months, the need for patching and solve main issues maybe I would play it.

Not all who speaks skeptic are trolls. There are some, like me and others, who have hopes that the game actually gets good and fulfill their supporters needs and aims.

But we remain skeptic, so far.

Hahahahaha! So good!! You are genious!

I hope Tasos watch it. He will be afraid of.

I signed up for Beta, and my DxDiag is strong enough to enter the beta, but i think there will be no such open beta but "open", likewise.

If i enter someday in this game i will renegate from my former - it means, my current skepticism -.

Another release date delay. And it goes on...

Thanks for this guide, I'm just starting my Electronic Warfare career and was a little confused about the best fit to reach my goals. Thanks a lot!

EVE is where you set your destiny!

I prefer only one server. If it gets messy with lag then get a better machine but keep one world-one server.

As a philosophycal approach to get into low sec I see the article well written and and pointing out which the main problems, structural coherence and attitude the leader must take into account before launching a try to attain his corporation and coallition in that environment. EVE provides such kind of thinking.

EVE is a world in itself. This is the goal of EVE. And it's complicated, not funny if you don't learn a lot of things, so EVE is also a study, and the kind of study developed in this article is of much consistency for what is EVE.

Thanks anyway! i gave it a try with the New Year offer and I was completely amazed with the work that WWIIOL has been made on, with patches and graphics. I return to duty!

I'm euro, and i don't have further notice of the game or news than NA have. It's like a ghost game which no one knows anything real about it.

Worries. Legitimate worries indeed.

I love WWIIOL but cannot pay for the sub as my economics are not doing well, if you can send me an invitation to elkasourkijo@hotmail.es  Thanks in advance!

Great Job!

The game is good, second most played next to WoW, it means many people found it interesting and fun. It's a get right into action MMO. No need of grindfest, you log on and are going straigh to a battle or a battle in scenarios. That's worth the 25 € i payed for the game at my Games Shop. Give it a try.

I can't imagine a Box of DarkFall at my local Store. Sorry. I'm european and i won't see that DF anywhere, but I'll check it out at Jan, 22.

Skeptical.

I'm pre-cu SWG vet. Dev's and RP can glorify everything but the reality stands when we try the results.

I hope this game succeeds and have a lot of good feedback, but I'm still skeptical. And this is not only because i was ripped off by SOE, but because i've seen D&L land of promises sinking, TR sinking, AA sinking and the promised land of MMO Vanguard in a niche wreck. Experience stands against DF.

Too many promises. Lack of results.

I've played WoW for 14 hours according to my xfire stats and ehm after that time I decided it was not for me -- and it wiil never be for me -- but I agree on that WoW is a great game and has been a blast in the genre. Ok.

I'm pre-cu SWG Vet -- that makes me prepared for every and all disappoinments whenever it comes out --- and a UO cultist since it launched to the present day as I still play it when I want to go back.

Well, I like RoM too. It's a good game. It doesn't suck. It doesn't make you a fool. On the contrary, the dual class system, the open pvp (just playing on EN PVP server) and the good features that it offers for FREE makes a good deal trying it and, believe me, if you stay there you'll check a nice community, that mistery which makes a game Great.

And to micona: Yes, that's one thing that I've wished to say many times: there is no the Perfect game out there, you make your perfect game by yourself. Play which enjoy you the most and then you have the Perfect game at hand.

WAR is great, WoW is great and RoM as a f2p is great.

It's a good game, in general and in particular, as I've seen since closed beta to the open beta. Yes, your char will remain on release. No pain betagrindig out to nothingness. As my budget is not so good as it was two years ago, and I'm not an exception --- or at least so do i think -- in the case, trying a f2p that presents the good average features of Runes Of Magic is worth the try. And furthermore, for my taste, it has some special charm that will keep me playing it for long time. Don't ask me what is it but I'm in the PvP server as i do love open PvP but people is not flaming or calling you n00b neither the l33ts have made appeareance; community is good and it does a game rich.

Now is your turn to try it and opine for yourself.

Please explain in what way this game is outstanding.   I found it to be a very mediocre game with handholding taken to an extreme.  Granted it is beta still, but pvp is very unbalanced at the moment.

They have a lot of bugs to correct before this goes live.  At the moment it is early beta and it shows.

Nothing wrong with trying the game out, it has potential, but still a long way to go.

Take into account that we are talking at the f2p mmo's average, and that, in that league, that is not the Major League ~~ if you allow me to cast this soccer metaphore in it ~~  we are dealing with a little game, that is appealing to a Western audience, that as it has been demosntrated itself by numbers, love handholding and questing more than 'skill templates and open world'. Of course is an early beta, and it will improve as they are trying to make the world of Taborea larger with new areas and quests. PvP is unballanced, but it happens in the p2p games, doesn't it? ~~

So my argument goes on that to be a f2p that one, RoM, is a very interesting one, almost with all the features that you could find in a pay to play one. I play it, my budget nowadays doesn't make me eager to pay to play a broken game or a failure game or a perfect game into its style as Vanguard or WAR, so I am conducted to play for free, as many of us in these times.

Sorry for the delay of the answer but I'm in the European GMT  ...

So far I'm in EN PvP Smacht server, my main is Byron. I love open pvp. I'll stay by there if you need something. :D

For what I've seen from Darkfall it would be daring too much saying 'it will tank and push forward the game genre or mechanics'.... See the videos, listen to the greek speech and watch the graphics that if not dated they are at least poor in performance and shows a lack of Concept Artist involved in. The landscapes are very Dark&Light-styled but not so good as they were in that vaporware big steampunk. It smells bad, being honest ~~ and it comes because I'm not a hater neither a lover of DF ~~ to the General Hyped Gamer.

I still play UO and I'm a Pre-NGE SWG Vet and I'm very busy playing the games I like nowadays; I'm not hyped or contrary to DF but... think for a moment; if you loot everything you need to recover your gear, and if you are not the God of PvP you may suppose you are then 5 seconds of PvP guides you to some days of PvE to make a nice recovery to get involved in maybe a victory, that guides the other guy to some days of collecting materials an gear to get into fights back.... and on and on.

I don't see this game as a PvP-focused game but another grind with less PvP than many other well-stablished titles which are more focused on real PvP-centric conception.

So no hopes for the so-called 'Hardcore PvP'ers' here. Move along.

It's an outstanding F2P that focus on a more Western audience. It's quite a lot more fun than WAR, and has almost the same quality graphics and some WoW simmilarities. Funny timesink if you don't know which game to play next, so you get some grinding time while in impasse.

It would be injuring the obvious truth saying Destru is not outnumbering and don't making impossible to Order have fun; this is -- at least from my experience, and  not talking with the voice of others, but attending to my mates intro Destru saying: we outnumber you so we pwn you all, no chance -- a matter of aesthetycs as Destru seems more Heavy Metal/Punk modern mainstream and Order seems to be so Dull/Serious/Naive that people choice is for Destru, most of the times? ~~ Dressing hell with nice flowers doesn't make a heaven and if Order continues being so beaten ~~ and I speak about Euro Servers it will happen as it is coming: much of the Order rerolls to Destru... And then? Capable, skillful people who played Order watching the unballance is taking the choice to join the always winning enemy not to bother anymore about being the splattered underdog... So Order becomes more than underdog.... And the wheel goes on and on... So I though seriously going to an ORVR that showed med/med and found the same problems messing up with balance. I would like to ask Mythic to fix this Big Problem or a supossed PvP-focused game will have no PvP at all, but an eternally ruling alone Destruction with no one to fight and we'll have a Warhammer version of a Second Life or HelloKittyOnline, all the mutants and greenskins chatting and having party, taking tea with cookies and wandering by the 'grim' landscapes with their girlfriends WE or Sorcs watching the sunset sweetly...

It is shocking, as Iceland has been an example for many years on how a little country could be successfully managed. I learn Icelandic as foreing language as this country is my fave one and i'd like to visit it asap. It's sad that is now in such a problematic economic failure. I hope CCP is not hurted by this and that government allows them to get foreing investors to push EVE straight forward without any woe....
