The thing about getting into end game guilds, they don't want complete trash. It will take SOME effort. I would suggest Code Blue on Bloodscalp if you were decided you liked that place. Back to the thing about putting forth an effort. If I were you, I would just get 70 for now. Get 70, and get the best gear that is attainable for yourself. It took me one month of farmng materials and upgrading gear any way I could to finally get into Evil Clownz Sect on Bloodscalp (AFTER applying). |

I suggest Ebay, just because it's an olllld game and you shouldn't be paying the official Blizzard price. I would send you my copy if I didn't still play it. |

You're wrong. You are doing exactly what I disagree with to such a large extent. You are categorizing people on terms of their age. You cannot do this, not now, not ever in the real world. I'm sure you would get a much better response if you ask people "Do you feel that if a game has good graphics, the game will be worth playing?". In that case, my answer would be yes and no. The graphics are what appeals me to game, then once I play it's a different story as my opinion changes depending on content of the game. For the most part though, yes, I like games with better graphics and I do think they are USUALLY better than those with not-so-good graphics. |

Warhammer Online : Age of Reckoning: Beta Sign-Up

Technically, they could have a seperate list of people to choose from that have been with the newsletter, but as far as a loyalty scheme - no. The benefits to being a part of the newsletter for a long duration of time is that in each issue of it they award random newsletter members a beta key (contest). So, if you signed up in the start where there was a smaller amount of people then you had a huge chance to win one. Now that more people are getting a newlsetter account for signing up to be in Beta, the winning ratio is slightly different. |

I'm pretty sure they will have one in the near future, this game was just recently released a month or so ago on the commerial phase. Before that, they allowed everyone to "Open Beta Test" it, which was basically a trial. |

How many days per month do you play MMORPG?
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 6/04/07 1:24:34 AM
I have never thought about this question before, it was pretty awful when I realized even if i'm playing a BAG MMMORPG -- I've played every day of every of every month for more than a few years now. |

If you are talking about the Reply buttons and all that, it's because you are probably running it on an old version of Internet Explorer. Try upgrading to IE7, and it should work fine. |

Making us "credit card holders" scurry through pages and pages of free MMORPG's in hope of finding a community that doesn't cost us 15 USD a month to participate in. I guess given that circumstance, I didn't quit understand the assumption that free games are mostly for kids. |

WoW this, WoW that. WoW wasnt the first....
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 6/03/07 5:11:15 PM
People constantly complaining that WoW gets far more gratitude than it did. No, it was not the first MMORPG. No, it was not the best. No, it didn't have the greatest anything. It DID however open up a new gateway to an expansion of game content. The original ideas for the crafting, the raids, the mounts, the characters, everything. Wether people agree or not, this is the company that people looked up to so much for their past game successes. In fact, posting more boards about how it doesn't deserve so much gratification simply shines the spotlight on them even more. Don't play the game if you don't like it. Don't go out of your way to show that they don't deserve appreciation by giving them even more attention. Get over the fact that this game was publicized well, with a gaming company that has a great history of producing ground-breaking MMO's. Sorry to tell you it's not going to change, you want to get peoples' minds off the game? See you in five years when you create your own original ideas. |

I don't think that it is flame worthy at all. I've looked at this game, and while I did not like it.. I do like it for my younger cousin. It's a casual game, a decent community, the game-play isn't TOO horrible. Kind of reminded me of Dungeons and Dragons (not online). |

Recovered EQ Addict looking to fall off the wagon
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 6/03/07 5:03:50 PM
Originally posted by mayonayze Of course they are, but due to the fact that new servers are put into existing server battleground groups to equal out the playing field you will still more than likely be put into a BG group with twinks, no avoiding that. I might suggest not warding off your addiction from one game to another, I had the issue with a pretty insane addiction to WoW for a few years. I won't go into details, but after I realized it was time to let WoW go I moved onto more casual games, ones that didn't have as much content. Sure, it's been almost nothing but dissapointment.. but i'm getting more things done now. |

HELP PPL!!!!!!! WATS THE BEST PVP??
Role Playing Discussion « General Discussion 6/03/07 9:25:43 AM
If you're looking for what is currently labeled as the "Best PvP", the most anticipated game that is being represented as a fully PvP oriented game would be War Hammer, but is not going to be released until 2008. Trust me when I say you are not the only one in search of a game with decent PvP. |

Nah, was a regular elf. Hmm.. the last time I had the Trial on my computer was before Vista (About 2 months ago). Considering it IS a trial, and my account was disabled for hacking violations I did not commit.. there goes any chance at proof. Then again, I could care less if you believe me or not, I didn't enjoy the first trial without Fae, or the second trial with Fae. I'm curious as to how I did not read the post. My reply had relevance to the fact that he was pointing out errors he ran into with the Fae trial, considering someone responded with possible solutions I thought I might put the error I had as well. In hopes of someone having ran into the same situation I did, they might have known what all of it was about. I clearly did not. |

ROSE is also know pay to play, but does offer a trial account with no credit card required to sign up. Originally it was free. |

From what I know (FF11 was my first MMO), each individual must have their own copy of the game to get the key that comes with the booklet. There is no extra "invite friend" keys. I also might tell you it's not worth the money it costs, although i'm always tempted to go back.. I miss the game. It just required alot of grinding, the notorious monster spawns were outrageous, and the game lacked some content. There is room for improvement, I actually ended up leaving FF for WoW when WoW came out in March of 2005, so I don't know if you would actually have an interest in it after playing World of Warcraft. |

Another issue I might point out, I orginally made one of the Fae. I then decided I didn't like them, so I made an Elf. Once I started the game, I was in the Fae area as a Level 1, I didn't begin in the correct starting place. Then I got some notice about hacking the game or something, cheating, etc. Just throwing that out there, so be careful. |

I'm not trying to challenge your opion or anything, what you said just kind of caught my eye. You said you think free MMO's are for kids. Why do you feel that way? The only way I can see this is if you based it off the graphics, which is irrelevant when it comes to what age it might appeal to. For example, plenty of older people play games like Flyff and that Saga game. Then again, plenty of younger children play more "realistic art" games like LotR, and EQ I/II. Arn't ALL types of MMORPG's just to make time go by? I mean, unless you're a gold farmer.. then you are doing your job. Once again, not challenging you.. was just curious. |

Yea, I noticed you wanted free games. Unfortunatly there just arn't that many good ones. How about trying CoH for 14 days just to waste time? |
