Most people who go into the Pyro-Blast build [I was Arcane/Fire pre-BC with my Undead Mage], usually go into Presence of Mind for an Instant Pyroblast. Now that people actually go fully into fire, maybe that is not the case. I just hardly saw Troll Mages before BC because most people were smart enough not to waste their time on it. |

Well, the guy that was holding a specified conversation in quotes reffered to it as that so to avoid confusion with him I reffered to it as the same thing he reffered to it as. :] |

You're right, it was kind of hard to track down. But here is the link to the English Version that you don't have to wait until summer to play. |

Being that I quit this game a few months ago, I have no intention of "defending it", but. In my opinion, based on why I quit, people are just finally getting bored of it. I had been playing since 2005 and didn't throw in the towel because it pissed me off, or the content wasn't good, or I didn't like the community, I quit it because I was required to. That doesn't change the fact that I have had little to no interest in playing it again. People are realizing that this game just takes ALOT of time out of peoples' lives, and they are ready to let it go. They got in their play time and now it's done. I quit with over 7 Level 60's I was working on, I wanted to gear up my Orc Warlock and Orc Warrior just as much as anyone else did. I had been a part of the same guild for about 7 months. I was coming on every day at the same time for raiding, it became a job more than just a fun effort. That is why it was time to quit this game. I hate Blizzard, I dislike WoW, but I hardly think the expansion was a reason for people quitting. The expansion didn't add one hunk of land and two lazy races. Maybe you don't realize just how much WORK goes into creating a game. With that "hunk" of land came all these different little worlds. Every map, every mob, ever area, ever texture for the Outlands had to be sketched and then rendered bit by bit. Every single peice of armor had to be three-dimensionally rendered to fit onto the bodies of those so-called "lazy races". The new mounts had to be created and rendered as well. New dungeons, a new battleground arena, just pages upon pages of new updated content. And you want to say Blizzard is lazy? Who the hell will be lazy with a game worth millions if not BILLIONS. You might think about just what it takes to put together that little expansion, because if you think it was just some half arse effort, then I wish I could put in so little effort for millions of dollars within one month. Just imagine, that expansion game out for 40.00 a pop the first night, I was one of the people at Game Stop at 12 in the morning waiting for her copy. I know there was easily 100 customers in that ONE store alone, and we have 3 Game Stops where I live. Imagine only 3 Billion of the over 6 Million players they have that went out and got that expansion. Do you really think they care about the one person quitting a day? Or even ten? Twenty? One Hundred?! No, they have what they needed. |

I do not suggest any games that are buy to play then pay to play. This meaning, you have to first purchase the game then pay a monthly fee. Reason being, every single game that is out with that rule is incredibly BAD. I played WoW since 2005, and will happily tell you that it's a bad game that was smartly constructed. Honestly, I kept myself busy with Last Chaos for awhile. Who wouldn't? Hours upon endless hours of grinding. And now I spend my days writing pointless reviews on all the free MMORPG's i've played, which totals at around 40. It makes time go by, and gives you something to do until a game worth your green comes out. |

LOTRO's biggest flaw in my eyes...
General Discussion « Lord of the Rings Online 5/20/07 2:06:39 PM
I have SO many issues with this game now that I am not playing it. When I first started, I cancelled my WoW Account [not really, I just like to say that to feel better about finally ridding myself of a game I played for three or so years too long]. I was fascinated at the cute animations, the graphics, the inter-world designs, the community, the leveling, and the players titles, not to mention finally a game where quests are almost EVERYTHING! Then I realized, these guys literally took World of Warcraft [and i'm not one to actually give WoW credit], and added one new thing. Player Titles. The Monster Play is basically Battlegrounds but as a different animal. Crafting is darn near impossible, so many materials needed for one thing and the economy makes buying the materials to make any sort of profit just stupid. My number ONE pet peeve, the player titles. They found ONE decently original idea and used that as a basis for the whole entire game. People go through wanting to get tons of titles, I know.. I was one of them. I wanted to have every single title within the game if I could. All I can say is this game was a play on one new idea. Not to mention, the player titles was implemented into World of Warcraft whenever they added that PvP System with the PvP rewards anyways, so that doesn't even matter. My point it, I did love this game. But something about it absolutely ticks me off.

Maybe i'm not the only one with this issue.

Well, that sucks then. If you do get your confirmation, please reply telling me so I can be kept updated. I'd really appreciate that. :] |

They are beautiful screen shots, but i'm deeply dissapointed with SWG now. I'm looking forward to the original version release coming in a few months. If anyone remembers that game before they added that horrid PvP patch and changed it to the normal leveling system like every other usual MMO, then you remember how great and original it was before. Definatly looking forward to that. <33 Other than the fact that I can't stand this game now, great information updates. Thumbs up.

Starcraft 2 will not be an MMO! Exclusive gameplay videos!
Off-Topic Discussion « General Discussion 5/20/07 1:08:55 PM
This game looks absolutely amazing, especially compared to Star Craft I. If I was as addicted to that game as I was, then I don't want to imagine the endless hours i'm going to spend on Star Craft II. The fact that it won't be an MMO is a bit disturbing though, I hadn't found much content information on that yet so i'm happy you informed us of it. I'll definatly have to look more into that. As far as your providing these external links, thanks a ton. It helps for us lazy people. Still excited as ever. <3 |

Wow, this oppurtunity is definatly one that i'm sure you've gotten a few responses about. If you still have that code, I already tried City of Villains but I REALLY would love to try City of Villains. I remember playing Heroes, and I was in love with the character customization. I have considered actually purchasing this game, but only got to play one day. :] Anyways, my e-mail is AshGUTZ@gmail.com if that code is still available. And if not, I want to thank you just for being so generous. |

I have one thing to say about the upcoming 2008 election. I actually registered to vote this past week, considering i'll be 18 in time for the 2008 election. At first I didn't care much, because what teenager does. After looking through all the articles we've had in the newspaper involving President Bush and his 'efforts for America', I am dissapointed in this guy. Whenever I see him come on TV making announcements all I see is a man with a huge grin, a mustache resembling a great hero of mine [Adolf Hitler], and he is waving around a miniature oil reserve sculpture in his hand. All that typing simply tell everyone, that I will be one of the many happily casting my vote that will hopefully end Bush's run as our president. Because he definatly belongs somewhere other than the oval office. |

Maybe i'm not the only one with this issue.
General Discussion « Scions of Fate 5/20/07 12:54:25 PM
I'd like to think i'm not the only one with the registration issue. I've looked into so many games and i'm constantly brought back to this one with good reviews. After refusing to register over twenty times, I decided to give it a shot. My question to other players, preferably newer ones, is anyone else having the problem involving NOT recieving your confirmation e-mail? Originally I was trying to use my G-Mail account, and thought maybe it was the actual G-Mail. So I somehow was able to tell it to try to send to my hotmail account, two hours later and nothing in either one of my e-mails. |

As a former Star Craft player, like many people interested in this topic, I am extremely excited for this release. I was at first a bit dissapointed when I found out Blizzard would not be releasing another MMORPG either than WoW, considering playing that since 2005 has taken a toll and i'm pretty WoWed out. The graphics for this game look amazing, even though I was quite a fan of the original 2-D game play before. As far as Blizzard is concerned, I really don't like the company. I have to admit they do release some addicting and history making games though. I do look forward to this release. :] |
