Since You're Complaining About F2P Restrictions....

Originally posted by Corehaven Agreed, just annoying someone into paying for a game they didn't play in the first place will not get them to fork over cash for it. The differences have to be much more subtle, stuff players would want, but not necessarily need for the game to function. Needed things like a bank and working action bars. I mean, f'ing with the ui and charging you to make it functional? Herpa Derpa. I see the darkness at the end of the tunnel. If they keep this crap up, they will be long gone before this time next year. Star Wars, couldn't have a better base to build a game around, so much lore to work with, and yet they manage to fudge the MMO's up every time. |

I tried creating an account but it says my email address I gave is invalid. It's my email address, my domain, and it's very much valid. Just because it doesn't end in yahoo.com or gmail.com doesn't mean it's not valid. So I go to contact customer service to let them know it's valid and it says you have to be a member, lol. So, in other words, I have to be a member to address problems involving becoming a member. It asks me to check F.A.Q.'s or the message board for answers instead, and guess what? Absolutely nothing there about having problems creating a membership. About to give up, any suggestions from someone involved in the admin area of this game? And don't say make an email address on yahoo or google, I have enough problems remembering the passwords of the one's on my own domain! I want to be able to sign up using my REAL email address... |

Originally posted by Deathreat I barely play at all and I'm 30 already. And look what you play, EvE Online? When do you max your stats in that game? Try 50 years... WoW is decent, LOTRO is decent. If you like smash-button pvp and crazy action, WoW. If you like better graphics, a complex but interesting quest line, and an easy to learn/difficult to master style of pvp, LOTRO is for you. I like LOTRO, just more my style. |
