What kind of idiot would not buy SC2? The mother of all RTS. It is the best and only best game for strategy out there when it it released!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing will compare to its greatness!

Well personally, i'm waitiing for my game to arrive so i can rejoin a friend of mine in playing this again. If you wish I would gladly have you join us on Gilgamesh. THe prices in this server's economy is quite low, which is good for the buyers but bad for the sellers. Which is good for us since we are just starting out ^_^.

If you decide to join me on gilgamesh please send me a message on this site.

Awesome, you my friend have convinced me to give this game 15 more dollars, I shall try the game again because I feel like my 14 hours of play was not enough (most of which I think was patching though)

You should not even be playing games if you are not willingly to give a good MMO a DECENT try. Decent meaning atleast a minimum of 1 week with atleast 20 hours so you can get the hang of what this game is about, how people interact, the "sense" of the game and such. 14 hours is not even enough to satisfy it. And as you said, most of it was patching.

First: Your problem is that your keyboard configuration is set on that other option, make it set it as "Compact" which will allow you to use the WASD keys instead of typing the letters out.

Second: Equip your weapons and go out hunting and save ALL your crystals and stack them up using organize in your inventory menu.

Sell everything else or keep them.

You will get Dia soon, which will act like a DOT and it will lessen the already long and persisent back n forth wack a bit.

At level 10-12 you should be heading to Valkurm dunes or somewhere you can get a decent party. Most PT will have a PLVLER meaning a high level will be there healing for you guys so you can get more EXP per hour.

An hour at 10+ in Valkurm with PLVLER should get you 1-2 levels, if playing more than 3+ hours and with a good advancing PT you should get from 10-15 in no time. THis is with a GOOD group that knows how to exp chain and keep the battle constantly going w/o downtime, so you can get maximum XP per HOUR.

Sell your crystals int he AH (auction house) in stacks so you have a little profit. Buy all your spells from NPC unless you see a good deal on the AH.

this would not work. horror games are mostly made for single player because you can get more of a "scare" out of it than MMO.

why?

you have teams to help you, whats the fun of that? playing by urself at night, not knowing what is going to pop out is more of an enjoyable game than playing with some1 that dies or sucks all the time

they basically losing customers due to Warhammer comming out and yeah... basically a lost battle imo.

not my 2 cents MY 10 CENTS OF LOVE BEAT THAT 2 CENTs ers

i doubt that companies would do that, but u can see if a game will suck before even looking or downloading at anything else.

Aion? It is not out yet.

Lets be honest, not many of us here are honest to the core.
Those of use who are, i commend you.

Lets get honest and find some things about about what you have done or would do.

Have you ever exploited a bug or game glitch you knew about to the detriment of other players OR to your unfair advantage?
Have you ever used a bot or 3rd party program to level faster or play at longer lengths that otherwise able, and if not, would you ever consider it if it came with a guarantee you would not get caught.

Have you ever or would you ever consider using a leveling service to get your character to max - get lots of hard to attain items and/or money?

I'll answer first:
I have exploited a known bug one time, that allowed me a fast xp rate by kiling the same mob over and over who respawned faster than usual.
I've never used a bot or 3rd party program to get an unfair advantage in a game.
I've never used a leveling service, but i would consider it these days as i have a full time job and love PVP MMORPG's and would love to play at the top level without spending months grinding away to it.

Your honesty is appreciated.

i have used all the above. Esp. in WoW where i payed people to level my accounts, then sold for like 200% profit :) good times, made around 2k off it, then leveled an account by myself, then sold that one for 500$

i've exploited many bugs in WoW and some others f2p mmos.

i've used bots for WoW and FFXI

I think the "i have seen it all" is also a facotr. And the fact that the new mmos give us so much hype that games released now doesn't not satisfy the hunger we want fromt he new mmos

not really sure where u are going... are u thinking of a RTS?

It's funny how this guy thinks AoC is crappy before it's even out. Probable mad, like what the previous post said, the rating. LoL.

I can't seem but to smile at this kid's idiotic replies on how this game is crappy and whatnot. Makes me have a tingle inside my mingle. Tee hee.

If you think this game is crap, why don't you make a better game. WAIT! Your too poor and you don't have any creative ideas and or anything idea on how to mass market a game and make it appealing to people. Your little judgement on this game has no affect on the lore and fanbase people here. How about you GTFO and go back to your WoW life? Yeha! that sounds great.

AoC is not guaranteed the best game WTFPWNZORLOLOLOL game ever, but it will satify our thirsts for blood, violence, and a MMO nonetheless.

Your idiotic posts only makes you embarass yourself more by showing how much your mentality and stupidty level is: low.

Quite sad that you would make a post without putting in a lot of evidence into your  trash talk.

Have you ever heard of fast zones? Yeah, that's a great IDEA. Maybe you haven't heard of this, due to your simple-minded self, but AoC introduces a new and fresh control play, and mixes in some fun into it. Unlike other mmos, click click, point, dead. you interact. Most of the people here already have a good computer, if not, a xbox360. Yet again, your ignorance on how AoC is being launched makes me laugh. The people with xbox360 will have no trouble playing AoC, same with the people with computers.

I highly doubt AoC will be another "WoW" pvp. WoW pvp lacked teamwork and the purpose of pvping, AoC will have a purpose to the game, afterall, AoC is all about battles, killing, and blood.

Maybe you should write a more professional and open-minded post before your ass speaks for your retarded-self. Then people will say, "Hmmm he has a point there, but I disagree here, but that's true there."

It is a good game, a grind fest, nonetheless a good game. Just becareful, there are a LOT of bots and scammers.

Final Fantasy was my favorite mmo. It wasn't one of those easy games. It took time and friends to achieve items and to access other areas. Unlike other mmos, it just takes simple quests without any story to it except "kill X get Y and return to XY" WOW.

FFXI was the best overall with a deep storyline, community, and bond that no other mmos will ever have imho.

This mmo took years to achieve a simple goal such as getting lv 75. It took time to level up, it made you work, and defined the meaning of working together. It wasn't just so you can buy and login and play by yourself like a loner, it made you realize that you and other people around you will change what you do in your journey through Vanadiel.

maledicta777, you are so American (Western) - centric, that it's almost racist.  All the issues you raise are based almost purely on cultural difference, and you assume in a rather harsh fashion that the Western viewpoint is better.

The relative lack of customization is because Koreans (Asians in general) value teamwork over individualism.  They don't care as much if their individual toons look unique.  They care whether the framerate will remain good when a ton of characters are on screen.  They care whether the developers spent the time on gameplay/pvp/teamwork rather than building an indepth customization functionality.

As for this game, it's been heavily funded.  It's not one of the many free2play games that are released all over the world.  This is one of the top games in the Asian market.  There is no churning or lack of effort here.  The developers built a great game that appeals to the Asian market, and they realized that exporting it to other areas of the world might be a good idea.

Point and click is one of the most established control schemes in gaming.  All RTS's are point and click.  Complaining about point and click is almost like saying that you're not a gamer.  Korea is the RTS mecca.  Blizzard chose Korea to reveal their flagship Starcraft 2.  Point and click is the norm in Asia, unlike the US which has been heavily influenced by FPS games.

As for anime, why in the world are you dissing that genre?  It is a HUGE market in Japan and has worldwide appeal.  Anime movies/series have won top awards including Oscars.

In any case, I'm glad you won't be playing games like this because someone as closeminded as you wouldn't contribute much to the community of any game.

Woooo! QFT. I, myself enjoy anime/hentai/ and all those sorts of games. People have their own tastes, but to diss anime in general is unforgivable. Anime will forever be in everyone's heart in some way or shape. And this game, is great, the post i quoted had carefully mentioned what the asian market and asian gamers want, they don't want any WASD movement to control 3 characters, that would be to difficult. Even if they did try, it would be quite hard to master, the click to move is a good choice because it offers a newbie friendly control system.

But I guess the western end of this world hate asian mmo because they have an abundant list after list of games they develope. IMHO grind fests are in almost every game to a certain degree. I think grinding is a good way to level to a certian level, then change the pace a little. Maybe this game will do that, maybe not. But i'm 100% sure that other companies, such as the one funding Aion will change their way.

Asian MMOs will be taking the markets in asian countries and those who love them in the US will flock to them instead of american games, because like what the post i quoted says "They value teamwork over individualism."

Hehe, it's so good to hear someone liking FFXI, it's been awhile since people loved it or expressed on the forums....

I went back to FFXI twice, but everytime I started, i felt so lonely, no1 to play with and such, so i quit... sadly...

CoX, try reading the other 129039130918309 threads about this too. Some people have some great suggestions about good mmos that I've never heard of.

The OP just wanted us to spam this thread because he/she doesn't know how to read.

Personally, this concept is GREAT. WHY?

Have you ever been frustrated over and over because there are WAY to many people on your begining area? Well AoC thought of this concept to not do THAT! OH EM GEE

You start off in your little area, no one else except NPC. You can level quickly without anyone stealing your targets. You can still talk, but not interact until the first 6 or so level, then you can party up, cyber, and whatever.

For god sakes, this is the best concept ever. WoW was laggy as hell, targets kept being claimed and you couldn't finish a simple quest because there was just TOO many people in the area.

This kinda proves to me that the worries I have about the recent nudity screenshot  may be true. That is, I think these screenshots will actually INCREASE the kiddy factor in the game. To adults, nudity isnt a reason to play a game. To a kid, it is.

Its not like the ratings are enforced, so I see this as a problem.

I hope I am wrong.

To basically, you blame us kiddies to ruin a game just because it has some breasts and such? Don't generalize on us kiddies just because we want to be immature at times. Like adults don't flock to nudity at some point. PUH LEEZE.  It's like you never seen an adult be childish, I have, and I've seen us kiddies more mature than some adults. So do not ever again generalize us kiddies until you can really back that up 100%, cause i'm a kid, and to read this, infuriates me. Adults think they know everything about us. Well why don't you try talking to a normal teenager on their "zone", you will see that they are more mature than other adults around.

Urdig got pwned due to his ignorant side of not knowing all the facts. sad... very sad....

Everyone makes mistakes. But i just rolfed at him for making himself look like a fool !
