Is it just me or do i have just bad luck...
I am leveing a new character through the dungeon finder, its obviously hard to find tanks (I am a healer) and so you wait 15 minutes till you can enter the dungeon because you have found a tank. Upon entering the dungeon in more then 50% of all cases the tanks leaves the group within a few minutes, which leaves you to wait another 15 minutes before finding a new tank, needles to say most people have left by then.
Is this a conspiracy, or are those people actually having fun knowing that now those people need to wait another 20 minutes for a group. |

I want to see the biggest most lore filled world possible... I want a Forgotten Realms MMO.
(But not a D20 based one) Only the lore and the classes, the spells and Monsters, but with a more MMO based combat systems... There is so much stories to be told. |

Its a lot of assumption, it wouldn't surprise me tough if they'd named the paladin class a Paragorn with added Mellee and paladin like abillities. and added the abbilities we know from the mesmer to the Necromancer to create a new scholar class.... |

goemoe writes: NCSoft lacks account security and care. NCSoft attracks bots and moneysellers like noone as well. Wouldn't touch it for money.
This is one of the few negative comments on the GW2 hype page.
And i must agree my experiences with NC-soft in Aion and Lineage 2 where not my most positive MMO experiences for exactly the reason above.
So what can Arena net do to keep NC-softs influence as far away from the game as possible? |

What will be the challenges of Guildwars 2
General Discussion « Guild Wars 2 7/18/10 11:39:42 AM
I know PvP will be a challenge for all players. But i will spend the majorrity of my time playing PvE. And i think many people are like me. So what are the challenges we can expect in Guildwars 2 for PvE content ?
Will it be enough to keep PvE people playing after the level cap is reached? |

Fails should be part of the crafting system, but also a way to recover some of the ingredients if it failed... For me the best crafting systems have a variable outcome, producing goods of different crafting quallity dependant on the crafters skill and some luck. |

Makes me allways wonder why people that have no interest in the FFXIV game come to these FF XIV boards? If i have no interest in a game, i don't read their boards on a regular base. |

The question is simple what MMO has the best lore and stories.

SWG and SW:TOR where is the connection?
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 7/17/10 12:02:14 PM
LoL
Star wars a sandbox type of world...
Just face the fact that atleast 20 companies have made starwars games and most of them have no connection at all...
If you want a Star Wars sandboxed game, stick with SWG, SW:TOR has a budget of over 100 million and can't afford to be part of the niche sandbox market, they need to be a big succes, and that requires organised action. Maybe you can talk SOE intoo creating a new sandbox Star wars game based on the their clonewars license.
People need to face the fact that these are 2 totally seperate products. By 2 totally different companies in 2 toally different ages of the same universe. |

Originally posted by NoEndInLife I agree mostly to you.... If you read the Ranger interviews carefully there is information about another ranged class that does not rely on pets..... This should be the gunman or rifleman. This leaves room for another medium armored type and i just can't envision a game without a rogueish type so i guess there will be an assasin. The casters are probably gonna be Elementalist, Necromancer and messmer... Where both should have a tree/specialisation a bit more specialised in some healing... as the elementalist has its water magic with many spells that have some healing effects. Leaves us with the heavy armored warrior and one more type .... my best guess it would be a paladin kind of type...
Its just wild guessing as some things could just be different, the rifleman could be the 2nd heavy armored class which would leave room for a medium armored martial arts specialist...
All in all more and more things become clear to me... despite not having true healer classes, there will be enough spells with 2ndary healing effects and there will be a lot of crowd controll to keep parties alive. |

SOE doesn't hate Vanguard.
It was a buiseness desisgin to not invest any money in the game but to add it as another trophy for their station pass.
I still blame Microsoft for pulling the plug, which gave SOE the chance to take over. back in those days investors expected for like 20 million dollar to create an ultimate MMO... By now we all know that the top level domain MMO's costs atleast $100.000.000 to develope. |

Originally posted by kaiser3282 They have mentioned that not only will they have an AH, but the little bit of detail they gave makes it look like it will be somewhat similar to the system in EVE. Along with that they will also be giving us a web version of the AH so we can access it from a web browser and manage our AH stuff even when we cant get on the game. For a true MMO, the economy is so important as the backbone of any MMO. A system like Eve could be fun and its working remarkably well for Eve. A webversion of the AH (espescially accesible from mobile devices) will be another major asset for the game... |
