If I can't train the Shatterer to Lion's Arch, how is it better than other MMO's

I have done it and seen it, made it to 50 and have sev eral lvl 30 alts... Haven't logged in for over 3 weeks now.. Just cancelled. It was a fun experience, but just not MMO enough to keep me going.
So where is everyone going when they leave SWTOR behind
I tried the beastlord in EQ2 for 2 weeks and now i am enjoying AoC again... need something to pass my time till GW2 releases.

Espescially in GW2 with its DE's and everyone working after a single goal, Mobs should follow players much much longer then in todays 50 yard max MMO's. I don't say they should follow you to a zone exit, but the way it is now in most MMO's is just plain stupid. And if they quit their pursuit, they should move back to their oriigins slowly (walking) and agro everyone on their route they would normally agro, this would make for a much more dynamic place.
Current MMO's are to much controlled... sure there are some borders needed to prevent to much abuse... But with everyone after the same goals... Trains would be fun again in PvE. Not that all mobs should trail you in trains, but most sociall mobs should follow you and make allarm to call their friends for assistence to atleast their area's border and some even far beyound that.
So, yes i disagree with you on this Loke... If you want to create a world with a dynamic feeling, trains are part of that,..

Some things will just roll on wheels in this game...
If you want to train and pull things on other players, you might be a lot better off in the WvWvW areas... |

Whats the least interesting things about GW2?

Originally posted by MMOExposed Still some features left that i am really critical about.
-Underwater Combat.. I allways hated this in all MMO's -No tanks/healers/trinity.. as those where exactly the roles i loved most in MMO's so far -No gear progression.. I allways just loved getting better gear... I know WoW and others went over the top, but i really disliked what GW1 did with gearprogession. Something in the middle would have been great. -No AA system.. that allows you to imporve your character copntinously even if at max level. -No raids.. What could it hurt to add a version of the current Dungeons that requires more then one group of people, espescially with the current gear system.
And there are still a few others that i would like to see different... But all in all this is and has been for two years the game i have been looking forward too most. I don't say these things will not work for me, but i still am very critical about them. |

I have allways disliked underwater content that took it further then just swimming. I severely doubt that i will like GW2 underwater combat just as much as normal combat in GW2.

Making games cost huge amounts of money, need i say more?

Guys and galls of the MMO community, this is actually just a matter of minset, i forced myself back to the firstbposition and that allowed me to enjoy SWTOR, and now i am back to AoC and just running around and exploring places.
But it requires a change of mindset, not doing that will eventuallt kill every MMO experience for you, including GW2, it will only take longer in GW2, but it will kill the experience eventually, i know it would for me.
So i forced myself back to the first picture and i know its the right attitude to enjoy MMOs again, including GW2

If you're howeer talking about random number regeneration.... thats still in GW2.... just less emminent. But its still there... |

I just love classes with abbilties and spells that work in a reactive way... i.e. a game situation arrises (you block, dodge, crit...) and the abbility can be used after that..
Will there be a class utilising some of these mechanics?

Low variable dynamic events the achilles heel for Guild Wars 2?
General Discussion « Guild Wars 2 2/08/12 10:46:59 AM
People just following the flow of things will have a great time in this game... moving from a to b and further as the event leads them... People sticking to one place and grinding it, will be dissapointed.... Don't think and just act naturally and fight whatever the game throws at you while trying to acheive the goals of the evetns. |

Now that you've played it, do you still think 100% voice is a great idea?
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 2/08/12 10:36:21 AM
Yes, i still think iots a good idea....
espescially the group quests with voice overs where awesome the first time..
(this is exactly what GW2 recognised) you'll only play the dungeons in story mode once with voice overs, after that the dungeons are set up differently for group play. |

Move on and never look back,,.... enjoy a game as long as it lasts...and then move on to something different... Or back to a game you still like.
Its just silly to get upset because of a game.. personally i enjoyed 40 of the 50 levels, which is quite a lot for me. |

I think its the best buisenessmodel ever, you want access to additional content you buy it.... if the extra costs are about $10 a month, i will buy everything, just like most other people i know. Its less then what you pay subscription in other games. And everyone should be able to pay just that much. -I dont beleive it will split up the community, if the content is good enough for the right price everyone will buy it. Escept for those little koddis that dont have a job and live on their parrents money.
Putting a single item inthere, even if it where just cosmetic is far worse in my opinion.... Or extra skills ... Or anything else that gives your character an advantage |
