They probably just watched the video of the World of Starcraft mod/map that's being made in the Starcraft 2 editor. Like a lot of other people, they probably just assumed that "OMG IZ NEW STARCRAFT MMO" because they didn't care to read further up on it.

What is up with Battle.net security?

Originally posted by motorun If there really were people out there able to hack for real, don't you think they'd go for people in top guilds or people with shitloads of gold? Most of the times when someone gets "hacked", it's some guy who is somewhat new to the game and doesn't have anything of value on his account. It's common knowledge. |

VERY few people really get hacked. A lot of people get phished/scammed/betrayed by friends or something else. In most cases, it's on the users end. Most people will say "but I didn't do anything or haven't been logged in for years", but it's usually their own fault somehow. It's like people who buy gold or use bots to level up and then all of a sudden get banned. They all say "I didn't do anything" aswell. What I'm trying to say is that it's almost always on the users end. |

If someone still has a key, I'd REALLY be happy to take it. I've been looking for a key for ages. |

People don't get hacked. Stop using the word "hacked" in cases like these. Either people get scammed from buying an account, they gave their password out to friends/family or they have clicked on a link/downloaded a keylogger. |

Bear with me, but why do so many people get hacked in WoW?

Originally posted by Horusra As far as I remember, it wasn't an addon that contained the keylogger, it was the Curse auto-update client itself. |

Originally posted by Kidfierce Riddle me this, if there actually were people out there who knew how to really hack, don't you think they would go for the characters of people in top guilds, who all sit at like goldcap and beyond? No no! Surely the hackers go for the 14 yo kids who have nothing of value on their account! - Come on. It's common knowledge that pretty much anyone who claims to get "hacked" has either clicked some fake link, downloaded something containing a keylogger or shares their account with someone else. |

The ammount of people who REALLY get hacked is close to 0. The ammount of stupid people who click random links, visit random websites, downloads random shit etc. = Pretty much anyone who claims to get "hacked". |

Say Hi to the remote auction house...
General Discussion « World of Warcraft 5/19/10 11:42:52 AM
You can only manage 200 auctions per day. No real player who plays the auction house can settle for 200 auctions per day anyway, so this is useless. |

Originally posted by Besttheiswow The reason why most people are complaining, is because RTW had been saying from day 1 that there would be no monthly payment and no cash shop at all. But then in the last minute, they throw in monthly payment AND a "cash shop". That's nice. |

Originally posted by downtoearth Yes, it's true that you can make RTW points ingame. But only if you have already bought RTW points(It costs RTW points to put your stuff on the Marketplace). And for you to earn RTW points from selling your items, you're forcing other people to buy RTW points aswell. You see how RealTimeWorlds operate? They cover it up by saying "There's no cash shop", when in reality there is. |
