if its anything like the first then yes they will ruin it

used to get a free salvaging skill book from one of the tutorials, not sure if they changed it or not but that is a way to make isk early on.

The original post was posted on Feb. 28th at 3 PM, the fixed post was posted on March 1st at 8 PM. Now i'm not the smartest at math, but I do believe that is bit longer than 24 hours.

uh yeah thus the reason i said @ 24 which means around  24 hours. if you want to get specific then ill correct my post to say 29 hours and 27 minutes.

so how long did this whole process take? from the time you first posted to when you said it was fixed was a little over 24 hours. not bad for something as screwed up as you want us to believe. i agree the process should be simplified, the CS should have more power to correct things but if this only took @ 24 hours to rectify it seems a bit silly to even post about. let's hope the thousands of other people with issues dont clog up these boards.

i am sure he has stock, shares, contract or whatever that he will get paid any bonuses due to him. he isnt the lead programmer, artist or whoever else does the daily grunt work. how many guys or gals there have a vp title and are co something? co-manager? well i guess the other co-managers got a little more work dumped on their plates, big whoop.

Not if they leave

ok didnt know you were a lawyer and privy to his contract or to the inner workings of bioware. i stand corrected.

scenarios killed it. they wanted an open world with RvR but people just went and played the instanced scenarios instead. no wonder the world was empty.

im sure there is an app for that on the ipod! grocery frenzy-shop til you drop!

no one is looking for an argument except you dude. this was a review thread and i stated why i did not like the game. you seem the one to have issues with it. if this game is a sandbox as so many claim then let me play it the way i enjoy it and that is by being able to take more than one quest at once. if i had a grocery list i would not go to the store multiple times to do the job, i would get everything i could while i was there the first time. this mechanic of 1 quest at a time is unrealistic. and please stop bringing age into the matter(checked your profile and im older than you). i enjoy a good slow game as i have many turn based games on my computer at the moment and they require much more thought than this mmo will ever require. i enjoyed eve as well and that is akin to watching paint dry if you travel a lot. so please dont equate this game to some uber brain game that only a thinking man can enjoy or appreciate.

had 5 available quests from the maritime guild in lisbon. did 3 that werent difficult. 2 talking to people and one fighting. came back and the guy only had two available. so no progression there. went to intermediate school city and decided to check out what quests were available. dude had two go to lisbon quests and talk to people. no reason not to be able to do those at same time. if doing multiple quests at the same time leads to boredom later on then the game hasnt got much under the hood to begin with. if it's a sandbox like everyone suggests then whats the problem in knocking out a few quests in a single trip?
Originally posted by GrayGreene You can have only one quest at a time.  If you did some research you'd find this is not a themepark game.  Those games are fun in their own right, but this is different.  It's a bit more cerebral.  One quest is all you can ever have, with emphasis being on the immerssive, not task oriented grind.  That's fine you deleted the game, capt. howdy.  But who cares?  These are the uncharted waters online threads.
cerebral?? having multiple quests where you need to talk to some people in a city isnt that difficult, i think we can handle the multitasking. i lose no immersion by having 2-3 quests. instead it is very unrealisitic to have to go to lisbon run around talking to people and go wherever they send me then finally back to the questgiver to complete. then after that i can get another quest. oh you want me to visit the port of lisbon and talk to someone, well damn i was just there i could have done it then. this was a review thread so i gave my review of a game mechanic thats flawed in my opinion.

tried this out since the options to do whatever you want were plentiful. i deleted it after i tried to get two quests at once and was denied. figured since i was going back to lisbon i would get several quests that involved that port. guy in maritime guild told me i had to many requests at the moment. whether you get the ability to take more quests on at a later level or there is an item you can purchase that allows such a thing i do not know and did not bother to find out. was easier to delete the game.

did the 5 days free offer they have going. spent my skill points and loaded my queue up. couldnt bring myself to undock and do anything else, it's that freakin boring.

hehe yeah they dont ban ya for letting sub run out. and just freakin call them, it's that simple unless you work the same hours as their customer service does.

hehe mmo's the last bastion of pc gaming? only strategy rpg's on consoles and handhelds? wow some of you people need to get out the house more or just browse the internet. go check out gamersgate, direct2drive, steam, goodoldgames, matrix, paradox and then tell me that mmo's are all we have left or that strategy rpg's don't exist. pc gaming is alive and well and games on console are just another revenue source.

I was in the F2P beta so I should be all ready to download the patch on Wednesday... Looking forward to it. I found that I have a great fondness for playing Hobbits, which is strange because it doesn't really seem like it'd be my thing. 8)

if you weren't a live player but only played during beta then you will need to download the client.

not saying you were or weren't darkholme, just putting out some info for the people who think they can just use their beta client and patch it. enjoy the game people!

i vote that they spend time fixing their terrain, trees, buildings etc.. so people cant hide in em. that would would really show those hackers!!

can buy ISK from a third party on the cheap. can get like 300-500mil for less than 15 bucks. buy plex in game for 265-275 and still have ISK left over. cost to pay monthly is less than the sub fee that CCP is charging and less than what they sell plex for. they arent against RMT because they do it, they just mad cus other people can undercut em. they want a bigger piece of the pie. so lets not do the holier than thou routine and think that CCP is doing this out of concern for the economy, player's accounts, etc...

pc game sales arent tanking. go ask steam and direct2drive or the developers. no need for a physical box anymore. i think the last game i purchased in a store was CoH when it came out. have done digital download ever since.

yeah as long as you have a visa or mastercard logo on your card it's treated the same as a credit card. must have some sort of prepaid card that you can put money on.
