I extracted them already to C when i first started. Now when i click on the WinRAR folder, it comes up with

Alright when i first do the search thing for Age of Conan in my C files, it shows two things.

Age of Conan  C:\ (with a folder next to it)

Age of Conan C:\Age of Conan (with winRAR next to it)

When i click the folder it get

1. dat .partial

2. dat.partial

3. dat.partial

4.dat.partial

5 dat.partial

6. dat.partial

7. dat.partial

8. dat.partial

9. dat. partial

10. dat.partial

11. dat.partial

12. dat.partial

13. dat.partial

Then a Age of conan WinRar thing

data-en.exe.partial

setup.dat.partial

setup.exe.partial

All of the dat.partials have different amounts to them. I also have more than enough space in C folder since i don't use it much at all.

yah, just checked it for the fifth time. Its there, i clicked everything that involves it and nothing happened.

This is the situation. At first, it gave me no default place to put the files, so i put them in C folder under program files. They made their own folder called Age of Conan. When the file was done downloading however nothing popped up to ask me if i wanted to install the software or whatever it is.

Hey everyone, i BELIEVE the NDA was lifted about an hour ago. If it was, i was hoping someone like AmazingAvery could fill us in on the game, or anyone else with trusted knowledge. Thanks, and im unsure if theres another post like this, too lazy too check.

I downloaded the pvp beta yesterday with the funcom downloader, did perfectly fine. It got to 100 %, everything finished DLing, then the window just dissapeared. Nothing else. Anyone know what to do about this? Anyone find a solution?

the torrent and files they supplied me with in the email were broken and i could not use them.

**Turns out the file managed to hide from me. Little bugger got founded anyway. He was located outside the folder for some reason.  Thanks daylight for the guidence. If anyone has the same issue email me at tdb_tom.brown@yahoo.com and i will help you out.

99.1 percent untill my download is complete. 6 minutes total.

i could have just lied and never mentioned anything about a brother and i would have the key. Not fair to be honest. Not the mention the kids first post to the website is this one, and the fact that i am seniority ( in post count) lol. Have fun Mak.

probably in the overloaded full topic of buddy requests lol. Theres guys over at the official forums ALWAYS giving out beta keys. Noone bothers to check there. Guy today is giving out 5 free ones.

true, i am aware of this. But not everyone is able to download the files on weekdays and so they save it off untill friday when they have time. They could have given us a week to DL the files is all i am saying.

Again you cant expect them to go around your timetable,They sent them out in batches,they extended the pvp test all they could do more was to phone the 15k ppl and ask "what time suits you best".

wasn't saying they should ask people when it best suits them, im just saying releasing a large download for 15,000 people for 48+ hours is not enough time, even if it did fit their timetable. Sending out in batches was a reasonable thing to do, just not for 15,000 people in two days.

Again they told you when the download would be available and how large it was,why bother apply if you were going to whine about getting in?

  if you have a beta key, which i presume you do not, how long did you have to wait to download all the files?

what idiots came up with the idea to release a gigantic download for 15,000 people  two days before testing. Everyone will be downloading at the same time, and even their links for the downloads are broken. Stupid people. Make it a beta week not weekend, and send out keys sooner next time.

This pvp weekend got me so excited then i got super pissed with the frustration of the 6 hour download for torrent and whatever else for the other parts.

Actually, i do not believe you have to be a paid member. I have a regular account for fileplanet and when i entered my Email for them for when they send out beta key info they said they would send me it when theres first news of the beta keys.
