Also, nice usage of internet explorer. You probally have full of spyware slowing your system down.

You post in the thread only to be seen, but have nothing to say of the scrrenshot linked? That tells us alot.. You blindly follow something.

People like that are why we get shitty releases and half finished broken games. People are so desperate for something new they take what they can get. It's sad actually.

 

Yeah...and on the other hand, we have someone who simply links a Screenshot of a *gasp* error that occured while he played. Curiously enough still playing even though he has claimed to be totally uninterested in this game for ages now (unless of course the picture was linked from someone else, in that case, kudos).

 

 

So...there's this guy...whose game-client crashes once. That's all this nice little link shows. Not what System he's using, not what Graphics Card, not what Drivers, no NOTHING. It's just an Error-Screen and then the big words of "they are lying", which is a joke, because no one claimed that everything had been fixed, least of all FunCom.

 

All he's trying to do is to belittle what -HAS- been accomplished and what do you think that is? I think you might be guessing right. -FACT- is that a lot of people have noticed performance increases. -FACT -also is, these people have said so. And to jump into there calling doom all over again and actually claiming that it's all a lie...well, what is that?

I dont care about doom and gloom.  I'm playing a game that is not performing and is crashing - not once but multiple times.  Now Im backing it up with screenshots cause there are some ppl like you that claim that ppl are just lying.  But when ppl show proofs thats not even enough for you.   But then - you have desided that everyone that posts anything negative about the game is wrong. 

I dont doubt there are ppl that got better performance after last patch - but there are some that are still crashing.  Hide it or allow ppl to say so ?  

Im gonna back my version up with screenshots of memory issues on a PC that is miles above what is needed to run the game.

Now - Are the ppl that are praising the performance after last patch asked to do that ?

It’s all in the wording man. All in the wording. I know what thread you’re talking about, and it basically said "Funcom lied, look". Take a look at the screenshot.  If it hurts you personally then add something constructive.  If not then maybe allow ppl that are having problems with the game to mention them.

BUt that was kinda expected to take the bite out of games like AOC and WAR.  TBH nothing of what I heard or saw intrested me.   It seems like DK will be the death of WoW as a MMO game.  Kinda sad to have played a game for 3 years, developing a character that then is switched out by a new class....

Anyway - I dont think this will affect AOC at all.  Most players here have had enough of WoW anyway and now we are hoping some Devs can show abit more respect to players that are looking for longterm game developing a character. 

This question simply has to be asked now.

Is it windows vista 32 bit that is causing all the performance issues? 

There are ppl here playing same PC with XP and Vista and they say there is notable performance diffrence. 

Funcom ?   Microsoft ?  

Or should all using Vista 32 bit just skip this one ?

I think its pretty obvious that Vista 32 bit is having some major issues for many. 

Thats not ours to solve.

Thats Funcom and Microsoft.  - So start working....

BTW - Is DX10 working in client yet or is that just for show ?

High end PC....

I guess High end PC is a PC that can now run pretty much every single game out atm in full quality without affecting the gameplay.   I was playing Assassing yesterday in top and had not one performance issue.

Today I reintalled AOC closed beta and started a new character.  I had to wait 4 mins for first loading screen.  And I got this SPF 1.0 - 1-6 (Second per frame witch means you get one frame per 1 sec.... ) even in LOW settings. 

No thx - thats just not acceptable.  

I guess the "minority" of Funcom Devs know what they are saying... other than ... Gimme ur money  now !!  We dont care if it doesn't work !

TBH I hope there wont be any prepaid cards.  Why ?  Cause this is a Mature rated game.  Creditcard shows u are old enough.

This is about the simple principle of custimors paying for finished and working product.  AOC is not.

Im not breaking any NDA now - but last 4 patches have only had fixes for lvls 1-13.  Last one last night.  Seriously ... You think the game is ready ?   I was trying to play a cutsene just now and the frose so I had to restart the PC.  And ... Tried it in another pc and same happened. 

Things that worked before last patch dont work now - for example I found a climbing spot that you simply HAVE to climb to finish the Torture storyline.  And you know what. Instead of climbing spot it showed up as dead corpse target....  That was working 2 days ago....

This really is a joke.

One single crash is not acceptable.  We are talking about 1000s atm.  And you know what ?   It will still launch....   Who cares if players are crashing - Funcom is cashing in...

Its nothing diffrent fro me than past 2 months.  Same crahses.  Maybe its affecting more but its all the same here.
