doesn't matter, they will leave for SW:TOR....  hardcore pvpers (And i mean hardcore) will stay in darkfall...  and all that good stuff... aion will be a boom followed by a boom of players leaving for TOR.

Ya just wait for Aion, hitting the first wave of people is a blast. And Aion has sick nasty armor and weapons, go to the aion armory and look at some of the gear. :3

I would go with Aion also.. The problem with MMOs for me is that if you dont hit that first wave of players your going to be by yourself alot. The first year or so it may be ok with MMOs but maybe not even that long.

Warhammer.. first wave of players pvp was crazy and you could lvl to 40.. now its like... after you get to 11 good luck pvping anymore for 2 tiers.

WoW... everyone is end game, it is a single player game till you hit it.. and it takes a good while, and I'm impatiant and cant really deal with it. wait till cataclysm and play with the wave of worgens or goblins if you want to do WoW.

And all mmos ive played its like this if your not in the first wave, grouping is hard to do. And i dont play an MMO to be by myself.

 I know what you mean but a lot of games are changing it now, where its no penalty or it even gives you a boost in xp to party. Its just hard to find a group that you can rely on most of the time, you want a nice stable group to play with, not some random one every time.

EDIT: I don't see much of a difference in Aion though from soloing and group leveling, I even feel like it goes faster with a group, probably cuz im having fun and im not bored when im in a group. when i solo it feels like it takes forever.

 Thanks I didn't lay it out to be honest, I'm using a pre-made layout from the host while I slack off from making an actual site :3, It'll be worked on soon though.

 We are an Asmodian Legion in Aion, and are building up membership for the games launch. Communication with other players is one of the reasons we play an MMO, if you don't feel like talking to anyone this isn't the Legion for you. We will be using vent and be focused on both PvP and PvE. We know players like to kill other people, but every now and then you want to relax and take down a giant boss for some sick loot.

 We are still looking for a good few people to get to know and become a head officer and all. This is a fresh and new Legion that I made because I was sick and tired of guilds in other games. Every time I joined a guild it was like the guild leaders and officers separated themselves from the rest of the guild and came to command us around when it was time to fight stuff. We are looking for everyone to be able to work together and at least have a small knowing of who other people are in the guild.

Our Legion name was inspired by one of my favorite games The Legend of Dragoon, but also from Dragoon soldiers (Wikipedia It if you don't know what they are.)

if all works out and we get to know you by the time the game releases, chances are our closed beta members will become officers.

We do want all members to be ages 16+ but do allow some exceptions, depending on if the younger players are mature or not. We have no problem kicking out someone who can't calm down when asked.

Vent is required for almost all officers we may make a few exceptions. Members are not required to have it, even though we prefer you do because it helps a lot in PvE dungeons and its extremely helpful in PvP.

 I was going to use Claymore as a guild name when brainstorming with my co-leader, and we used it at first in beta... my characters name QSIrene, asmodian though and if I am guessing right, you will know where QuickSword Irene is from... an anime named Claymore :3 lol just thought i would throw this in there.... we started something else though 

The stupid offer has me sitting here going HEY COOL LOOKING MAMMOTH THING !? but i believe i have to pay for the month right now... I dont know if I should. I mean Its wierd you can get a free lvl 50 and all now.

There are a few actually.

Just saw one of a player beating a dead deer for 30 seconds, then firebolting it a few times.

There are however not as many as you would expect for a game with a closed beta for this long, and a lot of the vids with different names show variations of the same 3 old vids.

There's no point in sitting on Darkfall related forums all day, "waiting" for the game. To "wait", you don't have to be constantly obsessing over it. Play other games, go out with your friends, get on with your lives whilst you wait.

This is the problem really...
Some people aren't doing anything but what they call "waiting" for Darkfall, which means they're spending all their free time talking about the game.

PLAY SOMETHING ELSE?!!? everything else sucks... its all stupid and suckish either i own to hard for people to think i have skill.. and they yell hacker.. or the game is total fail full of crappy-ness and stuff of the such... i may pop into combat arms and what not every now and then.. but get bored after 2 rounds... D: and i just recently moved to a new place for college.. when that starts ill have something to do.. but until this sunday my friend wont be here so im sad and alone... Woohoo thanks for that, I have high hopes for this game, and play it with friends. Mario Party, Diablo II, and WoW... lets just hope we can get a trading system in the future... its to funny watching people try to trade and a noob runs up and steals their stuff!.. ((Yes I have stolen someones stuff before...))

Well, ya caught me... I pay the $5 a month also, its one of the best MMO deals ever! WoW style graphics, Diablo II style inv., and a fast played Mario party style feel. I have to say its one of the best games you can hop on to vent with a couple of friends to start playing with... you can make it 5 times more fun with talking to people while playing it... hopefully there will be enough members to keep paying so we can get all the cool gizmos and gadgets they have to offer in the future for members.

And the humor in the game is great, very rarely can I laugh in MMOs but this one makes me laugh all the time with the dialog the vendors have and the skill descriptions.

Actually, EVE is a very nice game... seeing how it is harder to start off.. but you just need to run a few missions and get a few books... then your set for a while just training your skills. EVE-Mon is a great tool for the game, keeping track of your training times. Graphics are beautiful, explosions make your mouth water, and blowing other player ships up is even greater. This is a nice game, for the long run, and shouldn't ever be judged it or any other game by only playing it for the minimum of a week.  After you get threw a week the game picks up big time, you find a big corp. to run with, and help them out they help you out with money and books... Raids, Corp. wars, and Bounty runs... give you a thrill that brings you back more and more times.

Ya I'm expecting it to be released in late Fall at the LATEST but if the work the way most games do they will get it out on time with a patch ready to download when you try to play... but expecting the open beta to begin sometime in August. We will see what happens, just hope Richard Garriott makes us proud.

My bad I didn't finish that little part up, It has the cross hair in the middle.. is what i was talking about, just that you aim like a normal TPS (third person shooter) the left mouse button is down at the center left bottom of your screen and right mouse button is at the center right bottom of your screen... if you go to http://youtube.com/watch?v=6ef5D-7mH-4 you can see a clear example of the interface you can see radar, and all that good stuff.. with chat at the upper left.

If i recall right, this game does use the AA graphics engine or one very similar... It isnt like AA though in the since of play or any of that... AA you run around and hold the button down... this is a more tactical shooter then anything... fast, awsome, and a to die for game for many FPS/TPS and MMO fans...

The interface is basically as in Gears of War... the cross hair in the middle.. the only differnce is, is that you lock on to something when your cross hair is near it.

Although I haven't gotten in the Closed Beta yet.. I see alot of stuff on YouTube

I love it... it is my dream come true, Richard Garriott gave you the birth of MMOs and now he is evolving the MMO
