Played all these games, EVE's crafting is by far the best. It has an entire hacking/researching/inventing/manufacturing as all parts of it. Research done is different places, owned by yourself/corp/alliance or NPC station, and that has to do with either rep, or getting the money to build the structure yourself for research and such. There is nothing more robust. Especially considering most things valuable in EVE, are created by the people, and ONLY by the people. |

MMORPG.com is really going down hill. I don't know how articles like this get put on the front page to be honest. If you don't want to share the information, don't, why in the WORLD are you complaining? It's so stupid. It's just an OPTION, your complaining, about an OPTION, that some people like and will USE. Why do idiots like this get to post on websites? |

What I am saying is that if something isn’t done, good-natured and healthy MMO communities might become a thing of the past.
Already done. |

Originally posted by severius I agree with this. I believe it needs to be quoted more than once to show that a lot of the point in this article, to me, just don't make sense. Some things do, there will be a "third" age of MMO's and games in general probably by the middle of this decade at the latest, but I very very highly doubt that some special interface or Facebook and twitter will be at the heart of it. |

What Arguement? Every time I've ever talked to someone about the 2, no matter what they play, or if they prefer the consoles for some games or the controls or what not, they always agree that the PC is still far superior in the things it can do. When I can get on my Console and be able to -check all of my different e-mails -check my bank statements -read the newest Penny-arcade -surf for porn -download all my games directly off the internet onto the console -sign in to all of my chat programs and talk on all of them at the same time -download all new patches for all games in the background while not slowing down my system -check this forum and all others I wish to check -Watch movies at anytime I want(Not just netflix) -Listen to iTunes or any other music player -Check Ebay or any other sort of site that I wish to sell/buy things on (Amazon, Overstock, Tigerdirect, ect.) -Has a control scheme that is so easily set up and customized as a computer -Allows me to customize it in anyway shape or form and download things so that I can change it as I see fit -Set moderator tools for all of these specific functions -Oh yea, and play multiple games at the SAME TIME.
When consoles can do that, there might be an arguement. |

Didn't Even Make It Past The First Free Month!

The only thing I'd like to see AV add is maybe a 5hr invulnerability shield since that will allow people to get used to the interface and the game before dying, without making the system exploitable. Newbie zones are a waste of development time unless they are intergrated into the game's story Edit: I love how every time a "I quit the first month" post is made, regardless of the game, its always a new MMORPG account. I quit my first month. Do I have a New MMORPG Account? |
