The success of another guild is nothing to be sad over, quite the opposite, only a truely selfish individual would think otherwise.

Some things to consider:

(1) They all leveled to 80 in beta instead of waiting for premades, then ran the content at endgame.

(2) Experience from past-raids on these encounters is a massive benefit.

(3) Number one guild in the world, formed from the two top guilds.

(4) Top quality players, achieve top quality results.

I suspect OP is one of the same folks that naysayed the achievement on mmo-champion, if not, well then you need to learn some simple basic premises.

Read the Forum Rules before posting, or risk being moderated, it is the standard for WAR and is frequented by Mythic Developers on a daily basis. They communicate openly there.

I'm dead serious about the Forum Rules though, Moderation is strict and for good reason, no need for another forum filled with whiners and kiddies who use the net to talk shit from behind there parent's monitor. Warnings, infractionss and permanent bans WILL be issued if you break rules repeatedly.

Treat everyone how you would expect to be treated, and you won't have any problems, mutual respect goes a long, long way on WHA.

Between 20-60 they lowered the amount of xp needed for each level, and raised the amount of xp rewarded for completing quests.

Also with LK did the increase the speed at which I could reach 70, similar to what they claim with BC?

Indeed it did, they have made the same changes to 60-70 leveling speeds with WotLK, reward xp has been increased and xp needed per level has been drastically reduced.

Hope that helps.

Still hoping for screen shots. Also, the guy above me, your wrong in your assesment of the combat system. Actions are more real time than any other MMORPG on the market.

No, my assessment of the combat system was fine, it just happens to differ from your own.

Did you even bother to read my post? I'm an experienced, release day veteran who began playing during the middle of the second phase of closed beta. I have an 80 and an alt who is also close to cap. Both on the most populated PvP Server, Cimmeria.

Theres nothing "real time" about it, it is the same as any other mmorpg just very cleverly disguised, you press a button and your character performs an action (only instead of pressing just my 1 key, I have to push a direction first, then my number keys). If anything, the delay caused by having to press a direction prior to the combo key-presses makes this game less "real time" than any on the market today.

Sure, they've eliminated 'auto-attacks' but they have taken a massive step BACKWARDS when you compare it to both vintage and contemporary games. It's downright clunky! It's not intuitive, it's not efficient and it's not fun to use.

Nevermind the fact that any clown with a G15 can macro the combos into his keyboard and voila! instant, one press combos! Ridiculous. It makes the entire system and any further development of it completely null and void, you can buy a certain model of keyboard and go own by rolling your face across your programmable keys.

Ever play a game called Severance:Blade of Darkness? it released in 2001 and featured an actual real time combat system, might want to check it out - helps to be able to actually differentiate between what you consider to be "real time" and what actually IS real time combat.

The vaunted real time 'combat system' has all the appeal of a game of 'whack-a-mole'.

Was going to TLDR this, but unfortunately I did read it, and now I wish I could get that few minutes of my life back.

I pretty well disagree with everything written here, going into details as to why WILL start an arguement, and the staff here has a massive hardon for me, so I believe I've said enough already.

Too often you see Developers who claim to be following the community but are completely disconnected from what the community is saying.

Although this was just for fun, it shows a bit about Bioware that makes me look forward to their game.

I agree one hundred percent, it really makes them seem down to earth, regular people like the rest of us - that actually listen to what fans are saying.

If you get used to this kind of graphic quality, you wont play games with crap graphics anymore, I'm warning you, is happening to me :)

I disagree, though the game does have amazing visuals, it leaves much to be desired in the field of actual content available.

A shallow combat system, which is really the same as any other button mash-fest (it's just disguised by adding a few new keys for "directions" to make combat appear more genuine and realistic).

Little to no endgame content.

Crafting systems that are still broken and many are just not worth taking at all, for any reason.

Patches that break one thing after another, while fixing very little, and often bugs claimed to have been fixed in said patch are still present following the patch hitting live.

I have an 80 Guard and 74 ToS on Cimmeria, so don't take the above as hate, its simply where I ended up with the game.

AOC is great overall, it provide some great entertainment and experiences right from 1 to 80, but in the end I need more than just exceptionally nice visuals to keep me playing, and at the present time (and into the forseeable future) it simply lacks anything in terms of quality content to keep someone engaged and interested.

Sounds to me that you're bitching because no hot 19 year old would even look at you, because you're a massive jerk.

No, he is correct.

How, in any way, shape or form, is it not absolutely pathetic to put leveling your character to 80 ahead of trying to get laid?

Care to explain, logically and in a civil manner, why leveling to 80 in an online video game would ever be more important than egaging in a real life sexual encounter?

It's ok champ, just because you have issues getting your own dick wet, doesn't mean we all do.

What the hell were there thinking about when designing this weak ass class...besides the stupid fancy clothes?

Good Witch Hunters have no issues, as seen by the many who are very successful with the career.

Clearly outplayed, nothing more, nothing less, nothing to be ashamed of and definitely nothing worth whining about in this pit of a forum.

The US service has not Merged Servers, ever, and has no plan to do so.

We were offered free transfers from lower pop servers to higher pop servers, nothing more, nothing less.

I've played since Beta 2, no plans for a merge have ever been considered post launch.

Personally, I'm awaiting the day we invent a pill that can temporarily stop the speech and writing capabilities of a human being.

Then we distribute these pills to the whiners all over the world, and see what happens. If that fails, well we still have firearms! and bullets speak louder than words.

News flash!

The only people that consider mmorpg.com to be a legitimate, reliable, unbiased source for scene news or player reviews, are individuals who wouldn't know a proper news site if it bit them in the ass.

Yeah, PB came to a shit site, containing every possible breed of whiner known to humanity, and made a decision based on that....rofl. I realise you were being sarcastic, but that doesn't make the fact that this site is probably the worst on the net these days (when at one time it was a great site) to try and garner any type of real information from, unless you enjoy listening to forty or fifty mouth breathing teenagers invade and ransack your thread.

Quality at its very best, right? I think not.

Ontopic: PB is still very much involved as he always was, hes just not as spotlighted these days as he was prior to release. Anyone that actually supports the game knows this.

I've managed to download the correct (AGP 'Hotfix') updated drivers (Oct '08) and have got the game to run smoothly ... as long as I don't make any in-game graphics changes.

I've done a little more on-line research and come up with the following:

The box packaging states that the card requires a 300W Power Supply Unit. I have a 350W PSU. Unfortunately, according to Sapphires website, the card actually requires a 550W power supply.

hmmm....

Further research has suggested that many of the 'bugs' I've encountered are actually symptoms of a PSU struggling to provide 12V to both the GPU and the CPU/Components at the same time. Put simply, my Power Supply doesn't have enough umph.

Looks like I need to pick up a 600W PSU.

On the bright side, when the card does work, V:SoH looks smashing!

500W is more than enough for that card and the rest of your devices, most modern SLi systems only run a 700-1000W PSU. 500W is fine for ANY AGP card in existence.

PCI-E cards, well thats another story.

No community issues in my experiences since launch, get into a good guild and get to know people around the server.

Its ridiculously easy to make yourself a network of friends in this game, you just need to apply yourself.

Such statements make me really pissed. It has become a sad habit indeed to call everyone troll who has a different opinion. When WAR is so overhyped I think calling over mistakes a little bit louder than normal is not wrong. Netto both sides, fans and critics tend of over emphasize their point, but thats a natural part of any debate. I just cant stand people who must name others troll or fanboy in every damn thread, and if you have that mindframe, we dont loose much with your going, sorry to say.

It has also become a sad habit to assume everyone who likes a certain game wants to hear the negative opinions of others, regardless of this being an open forum supporting whatever "free speech" mentality you might think applies, and how they drone on like a broken record about there dislike of whatever game is being discussed at the time.

Trying to even appear as anything other than a troll, Yunbei, is simply a wasted effort. You are one of the biggest trolls on mmorpg.com's WAR forum, currently tied for the first place position with Evasia. I'd personally pin a ribbon on both of you, truely award winning performances.

However, I personally cant stand people that are clear non-supporters, chiming in time and time again with there "opinions", all in a vain attempt to persuade perspective players into playing some other game. See what I did there?

Force feeding fans your negative "opinions" repeatedly is only going to garner disrespect and hate among those discussing the subject at hand, particularily any steadfast fans. You also seem to be under the impression that your "opinion" of the game being overhyped and riddled with mistakes is the correct one.

There is no correct or incorrect opinion, simply a variance. This is a misconception made by most truely simple individuals, as seen daily on this wonderful social experiment we call mmorpg.com.
