Anyways, i think this forum isn't the best place to seek help, seriously dude... especially with the low ammount of information you gave us. My advice - make a screenshot of the graphic issues, post it, and write down the blue screen. I mean the most important part - the error thingy, it looks like 0x0000... etc.etc. Then you can google the error and find a solution... Use the power of google, you seriously seem like you think that mmorpg.com is the only computer-related website ! That's just sad...

It's quite obvious you can't expect something to work perfectly for 400k people. It happens everywhere. It might seem to you, that the launch was a fail, because you probably  just sat there and watched the forums...people who enjoy the game, are playing it, people that hate the game/are having isssues are writting on the forum.

OVERALL it was really smooth, compared to other mmo launches.

You think funcom would say that the launch was smooth just like that, because they want more to come? If the launch was a total failure, they would say something like "The launch was quite rough, but we will do better in the future"

It might have been rough for you/your friends, but for at LEAST 300k other people, it was quite smooth.

I got a 2 GB ram, 8800 GTS 320 mb (yes, teh weak-one) C2D 2.0 GHz and a Vista home basic.

Playing smoothly on High settings with shadows turned off.

My brother has a slightly better PC, and he's playing on maxed out settings 20-30fps.

 Try installing sp1 ;p

Oh, christ, they're so dumb that it's funny ! Seriously, those guys could stand there for LIGHT YEARS and could not figure it out.

They didn't even try to jump around? Swim? Using HIDE would do the trick ! The player and npc collision is disabled then. Lol i noticed that in my first hours of playing in the PvP beta weekend,  and THEY are like level 40 !

I'm loosing hope for this world...

I bet 50% of those 40% "lost a sub" guys didn't really play the game ;P

I waited for the game 3 years, and knew what to expect. Played the pvp beta, i didn't really get much disappointment. I might be a fanboi, but at least i am not bashing other games that i don't like.

I installed the game over 7 hours ago, could not patch it, because the patch servers were down.

Now i just finished patching, and while i try to log in to my account it says "Unable to connect to the character server"

My official forum account ain't active yet, so i'm asking here.

Is it just me, or are the servers still down?

Oh, and don't even try to tell me to cancel my subscription, i've been waiting for 3 years and played the pvp beta, i know what to expect and that i will like it.

400k isn't bad.. Its actually average for launch and if it were to stay that way it would be above average. Hmm, as far as it being one of the fastest selling PC games of all time, I'm pretty sure that any other overhyped MMO would sell just as fast as we struggle to find something new to play.. Warhammer will do the same and also be hailed as "One of the fastest selling pc games ever".

The x360 version won't be much different (if you plug in an usb keyboard and a mouse), so i can't see his point here... maybe it's because of your PC specs?

Not much of a siege with a total of 96 players.  Not even 100 lol

The video showing around 70 people in one zone was a high-end pc, there was no fighting, special effects, etc. so it was quite smooth.

But all these fights sure do eat some FPS.

If there were no limit for Sieges, you guys would be complaining about the performance issues.

No matter what kind of miracle will happen, people will still keep complaining...

Me thinks that the limit will be raised in time, when PCs will get better, and AoC will be getting a better optimization.
