I lost hope in the mmo genre and I am back in single players games, if you want advice on which single player, dont ever go to dragon age, very bad game, try mass effect 1 before 2, both great games but mass effect 1 has the better story by far, bioshock 1 and 2, great games but sadly same pattern 1 is much better than 2 in story but not in gameplay. also one game I was surprised that I liked is the witcher,get the normal one and then upgrade for free to fix all the bugs to the enhanced edition.

Dragon age was horrible But I only played it for console , heard it was a diffrent game on pc  , I prolly should have bought it for PC : (

I made a character on the "new player servers" and there were alot of people making new characters also , however when I made one on my freinds server the new players area was desolate . Would you take this into consideration when chossing a server to play on? thanks again.

I thought it might be bettter to have players that are my same level ? Looking at the LFG tool would it even matter now ? thank you everyone for your responses.

Hi I just started this game and was wondering should I join the server that says population is "new players " or join a old server where a freind of mine has a high level character ?

MY freind is willing to start over with me on the new server , howver I was wondering would there really be that much of a diffrence? thank you for reading my post.

Hi I heard there was a vet trial however when I try to sign in it says "account frozen" thank you very much.

Would like to give it another go but have been able to find if there is a  free period of time for people who previously purchased the game.

I agree I wanted to love it so much but its just crap....

Recently I decided to try WAR again after playing at release. As of right now I can say the game is much more fun then when I orginally played , for one there are actullay people on the server I chose this time so I got a crack at RvR .

However after some time the RvR gets very stale one major reason for this is the death penalty or lack of .  Does anyone else think that mythic should change  the death penatly so that killing a enemy actually means somthing in ORvR?

There are like 50 games or more out there for the casual gamer it is good to see a company going in another direction. I like how there is no /tell or chat channels reminds me of old time UO.

I personally love the warhammer universe so when WAR came out I was very excited I pre-ordered the CE and everything. IMO it was very boring however the RVR is fun but as soon as you realize that it is meaningless to win or to even die it gets old quickly.

I wanted a dark, gritty, and unforgiving fanstasy world that the books present but sadly that just didnt happen. The game is not terrible by any means there are features I really like about it such as public quests and the journal ( cant remember what its called exaclty ) but the entire game just feels like somthing we have seen already.

I think there shoulld be some sort of limit on starter weapons such as if your account is more than 2 weeks old your stater weapons no longer stay with you. It might not be much but at least they would be risking somthing.

After playing the game for less than a week I can say that I have not experienced a worst community, there is no manual for the game and the help section is of little help at all so one would think that asking questions to fellow gamers would be a way to help you during your harsh introduction.

however communication ( in my opinion) is one of the worst and most difficult parts of Darkfall. What ends up happening is that you ask questions in racial alliance  which of course draws out a 12 year old pissing contest on who can make the most smart assed comment before their bed time.

I am currently having fun with the game but the community sucks. (prolly should have excpected this)

for me the threat of being able to be attacked by anyone at any time is part of the fun. I am not a huge pvper but there is a certain thrill that you could lose all of your hard earned items at  any time. I would assume people buying this game understand that and would be like minded.

So far on the Orc side I have only been "ganked" one time by a human riding a white tiger or somthing the thing is she killed me when I was alone however when she was lurking around the new area a small band of people formed to chase her away(all newvies)

I never really felt like the PK was overpowered, yes she did have a clear advantage but it never seemed impossible to kill her on the other hand in a lvl based game someone 20 lvls higher than you are is god.

I have only had the game for 3 days now so we will see what happens.
