Which faction are you choosing and what age range do you fall under?
General Discussion « Aion 9/18/09 8:32:15 AM
Originally posted by nightbird305 Your point is moot . . . everyone knows people under the age of 20 have the mentality of their shoe size. On a more serious note, you are only allowed a limited number of slots on this forum for polls. The way it is laid out will give a general idea of what age groups prefer which side. It really has nothing to do with age since some people can be 40 years old and still act like a child fresh out of gradeschool. And lets face it there is now way anything scientifically accurate will ever come out of these forums.

Massively Retarded NCSoft Online Purchase Limitation

Massively Retarded NCSoft Online Purchase Limitation
General Discussion « Aion 9/17/09 2:22:27 PM
Send them an email or call. It may have been something put into place to safeguard from people "buying" tons of copies for the beta keys only to cancel them later. |

I believe you can play on the pre-order key for a few days past the actual launch, this will allow for a few days travel for the actual copy to show up. If NCsoft does not allow this they can expect a lot of hate directed at them for the first few days. If you look at the keys there is one listed for pre-order as well as beta: Serial Codes Used on this Account The pre-order key should be the one you can play on. Of course I could be wrong and will be rather angry if they shut the accounts down because of no physical copy. |

It wouldn't have anything to do with the "boys" turning into mindless dolts at the sheer thought of estrogen in the air? Guys can create just as much, if not more, drama than the gals. Try not to generalize, it makes you sound like the stereotypical male.

Originally posted by grandpagamer WOW fans seem to have some irresistible impulse to flame any game that threatens their sub numbers. I think it may have to do with insecurity issues about if they are really playing the best MMO ever invented my man. I think it is because they are . . . dare I say it . . . BORED! Perhaps their game isn't as good as they claim since most of the WoWer's time is spent defending it's sub count. |

Gameguard causes no issues with my computer so to be frank, I don't care about your problems just the same as you don't care about mine or anyone else's unless it is convenient for you. shoziku is correct, Gamguard is in the game to stay. I am also fairly certain that he is also correct about the OP using the EULA as a guise to make his point. But you better look out, the Microsoft FBI will come and get'cha for breaking their precious legal agreement! |

How many past/present WoW players do you know who are at least going to try AION ?
General Discussion « Aion 9/15/09 10:16:34 AM
Originally posted by grandpagamer That makes sense. Those who like WOW should like Aion as the gameplay is very similar. Those who do not like WOW will not like Aion due to the similarities. I hate WoW but it is not because of the game itself, the game was actually quite fun. The community is the worst I have ever seen and to my horror that same community was in Aion for the open beta so hopefully they will slag off once they have to pay.

Aion 3.5 million subs worldwide catching up WoW fast!
General Discussion « Aion 9/14/09 10:54:59 AM
Originally posted by vkayne It is no more important than the WoW fanboys prancing around WOW's sub numbers. It is, however, incredibly entertaining to watch them boil over at the shear though of another game "catching up". It is nothing more than a "my penis is bigger than yours" fight. Some find it incredibly insulting and a personal attack while others laugh it off and know that it isn't the size that counts but how you stir the pot. |

bioware is giving me the player a game that I do not want I have told them what I want and rather then give me the player what I am asking for they are doing the same thing $OE did to us. this game has no soul bioware and la are just coming out with it to make money Fix'd Stop including everybody. More people are happy with the direction then those mad because it's not SWG 2. I have come to the conclusion that you are a very sour delusional person. Games are around to make money first, get that through your head. BioWare takes pride in there projects. Every single game of theres I played was polished and amazingly fun.

why is asian pc-game developer make prettier character?
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 9/09/09 3:07:56 PM
As some have already mentioned, sex sells. Beauty and perfection has always been seen in youth for both male and female. That, however, is not to say that people can't be attractive with age. As for those looking for realism in games, do take into account that 65% of Americans are overweight and the average dress size is inching closer, if not already, a size 14. |

Or you could have gone into the sound options and ticked the box marked "Mute Combat Casting Sounds" and never hear it again. But alas, we will not miss you. |

Hey, clever salesmen trick people in the US all the time into buying POS American cars and we don't have a right to return them (past the 3 day limit) Sure you can return them but they depreciate in value by 10% or more as soon as the front tires leave the dealership's driveway. |
