Also as someone earlier brought up. Whose "logs" are next? are they gonna be posting logs on regular customers that happen to make  a post they dont like? Are they passing your super sexy cyber logs around the office and laughing at your lack of skils? They have shown a willingness to break a trust for there own gain. So id be careful what i typed in Darkfall, you never know who will be eading it.

The Ape King cant even be Farmed by people...The Ape King is in the area right BEFORE the agte to Tortage common area. As far as I know (and I remember trying) once you go through that gate you cant go back.

Ive logged in to eq2 maybe 3 or 4 times with this free time they gave out.. not because I didnt like the gameplay but because I could never find anyone willing to group. Ive got character from lvl 20 to mid 50s on Antonia Bayle  AND Lucan Dlere and its just dead. it makes me sad. I would love to play eq2 but not solo.

It was pretty obvious what the community would be like months ago when certain features were confirmed.

 

- Wide scale non consential PvP.

- Giving AOC a 'Mature' reputation.

- Boobs. [now covered up]

- Nipples. [now covered up]

- Decapitations.

- Blood spurts. [no blood now at all].

 

I mean really what else were they expecting with features like that?

Have they really  gotten rid of the partial nudity and the blood? 

i didnt see one mention of performance improvments or oom fixes. Does funcom not think these things are important for the patch notes?

I was sitting there mushing keys having her fight two MoB's and she is only doing damge to one.  I was like.  OMG...she should be doing damge to both!   She is going to die.  :(   Luckily I remembered my ranger has her own heals.  So she managed to survive...but barely.   I was like.  Can't do this.   I want my AoC combat back!  Why can't we have the smooth animations and have my ranger from AoC in Vangaurd.  She kicks butt!   LOL!

Oh well...some day when Funcom gets AoC fixed I'll play again.   As for Vanguard...I will be removing it from my HD.   I cannot ever go back.   AoC ruined it for me.   Thanks the frak alot Funcom!

AoC, like any addiction takes time to get over. Right now nothing else is going to look or feel as good but give yourself time. Soon youll be able to realize that the feeling AoC gave you was just a buz from the "new" of it all. You had valid reasons you left it, remember those. You liked Vanguard remember the freedom, the beauty, the adventures you wrote about... give yourself time. ease back in soon the twitches from post AoC addiction will subside and youll feel better about  MMOs and yourself.

15$ for 1 month of unlimited(excluding downtimes) gameplay is more than reasonable.

i have experinced no memory leaks or significant problems. The last patch actually improved my performance. Id say i gained 20fps at least.

Well it would depend on how you want to look at your own statement,yes AoC atm has more of a population but as all there zones are instanced and only hold a certain number of ppl before a new instance opens then your staement is wrong as Vanguard has no such instances so therefore is the more massive multiplayer game.

lol you guys are hilarious. Id wager that each AoC Instance has more people than 3 or 4 VG "chunks" combined. So I still dont see the validity of the statement
