  Sounds like Dana ate the wrong side of the frosted mini wheat's this morning. While the grown up intellectual side of me says sure, the kid in me that drew me to play this stupid MMO in the first place says NO NO NO!   

 An MMO's "Rush to Market" should be punished not coddled!

1st impressions are what decides the success of any mmo.  If you don't do me right in the 1st 30 days your not going to get the subscription.

So I jumped in after 5 years of absense to see where PlanetSide has gone.    New players are serriously pushed to the side, I played for over 2 hours and maybe got 3 kills (Im always in the top 3 in current  fps games) .  Its over run by Vehicles now and new subs dont get the good ones to take em out.   It really appears that they are catering to the regular subscribers and saying FU to the newbs.  Really a bad idea SOE to offer the free month play to let new potential subs know the're not welcom on your LEET servers.

1.  Its not clear where new users can fight with others of there skill level.  It should warn you some how.

(Instant Action should be labled Instant death to new players)

2.  Stutter's:  The game has some network / audio stutters.

(I 'member this when I 1st played in Beta.  I would have thought 5 years should have been enough time to fix this)

The Question isn't:

"Will we ever see a Planet Side "

The Question is:

"Should SOE be allowed to make Planet Side 2, or sell the rights to another company"

 I do give my props to SOE for holding it together this long.

To stay on TR topic I also gotta say TR was a blast to play, my only gripe was the lack of PvP & Vehicles.  I cant believe TR dropped the game like they did especially since they are best known for Guild Wars.  Since there is already hours of content to be experienced why would they throw it all away like they did.  You would think there would be some way to restructure the game, shrink it, add PvP element to keep it fun.

  People run free Private WoW Servers for Fun Play, I wonder what would be involved in getting a Free TR server up. 

I said it in BETA, without launching TR with PvP,  it didnt stand out enough, and  was destined to fail.

I gotta say FoM is a poor replacement for TR.  It looks like the original Couterstrike game graphics wise and probably has just as much content.     Might be worth a few rounds while the game is free but I'd go back to Planet Side before I put down $$ on FoM.
