I fully agree with you. Fallen Earth is a lot of fun and offers endless crafting action. But sure not a game for every one. |

Is it just me or is this game rather boring?
General Discussion « Champions Online 9/03/09 10:08:17 AM
I am a 100% with you. The "it" or "hit" factor is completely none existent. In addition, as you said, I have a massive problem to connect to my avatar. Shame that nothing really improved about that since beta. For all that like the game, have fun. |

EVE Online: CCP Unveils EVE Online FPS: Dust 514
News Discussion « General Discussion 8/18/09 8:51:42 AM
Originally posted by Lumster I am an EVE player of the first hour. I am an EVE fan. I own a x360 and a PS3. I don't feel like being kicked in the face. CCP is a professional company that makes its own desicions. I won't blame them for it, just as they won't blame me for not buying one of their products. |

Greetings, I just found my way back home, coming from my birthday party. As the title implies, I am wasted and happy. It was a fabulous and roaring event. Now you might wonder why in hell I bother you with this, or you just feel the "a so common mmorpg.com style"urge to flame, blame name call me. Well, you read this, I didn't force you. Anyhow. what I want to express: With all the good and bad gaming going on, all the bloody PvP, heavy grinding and searching your own perfect mmorpg, don't forget the real life. Don't miss out on real encounters with friends, music, booze, other intoxicating substances. Enjoy the real deal every once in a while. That's it, that is all. Now I need a bowl. Bye |

Mmorpg gets me fired and makes me out to look like a racist at my job
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 8/02/09 10:48:50 AM
I really want to reply to the OP, but I fear it will give him just more attention than needed. So I guess I will just keep this whole comment in black. Of course this will lead to my next infarction, but who cares.
OP, as long you are not fired, relax. It might be a good idea to chat up the colleague (dont use gamer lingo) and ask why he was offended and apologise for it.
Hope things will go well. |

Analyst Mike Hickey on Blizzard/Activision and the challenges it faces. . .
General Discussion « World of Warcraft 7/02/09 6:16:06 PM
Mike Hickey, lol. The guy has as much understanding of the gaming industry as a blender. He likes to facepalm on Activion-Blizzard. Hickey is the one that forecasted that the merger of Activision / Blizzard would not go through, due to ethnical managment conflicts . Then that it would be legally challenged for cartel reasons. Oh, and he also "knew" in 2007 that WoW would loose 20% of its player base (by 2008). Here is a little background on Hickey. Judge yourself if he seems to be an insider. Mike Hickey is an Associate Analyst following emerging and existing technology companies. Prior to joining Janco Partners in early 2004, Mike was a Financial Advisor with the Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS) working with institutional and high net worth individuals. Prior to UBS, Mike spent over 5 years with Salomon Smith Barney as an Investment Management Analyst working with institutional clientele. Mike received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance-Real Estate from Colorado State University (CSU) and an MBA from the University of Denver (DU). Mike is a CFA Level 2 Candidate and has series 7 and 66 securities licenses. Taken from his employers website. |

Recent LucasArts comments, have they really learned nothing from SWG?
SWG Veteran Refuge « Star Wars Galaxies 6/20/09 10:14:01 AM
Tom Nichols, executive producer, did NOT call the classes useless. The interviewer, Casey Schreiner, did. Nichols said: " What we learned from Galaxies, is that we need to make sure that we have classes that are iconic and recognizable." The whole interview can be seen here. |
