Hi there, i've just read the FAQ of LOTRO and found this: Q: Can i play a mage or wizard in LOTRO ? A: From what is known, there were very few wizards in the whole of Middle-earth through the ages. You will not be able to play a Wizard, but a mage-like class will be available to you. As Magic plays such a special role in the Tolkien lore, we are taking great care to provide players with the abilities they expect, within an appropriate context for the Tolkien mythology. I'm not sure whether to buy lotr or not, but i'd do it, if there are lots of things about magic, as this aspect interests me most. Unfortunately i don't know what this mage-like class is, lore-master comes close to it, or is this a complete new class that is not listed on the gameinfo ? Can anyone tell something about this ? Is this maybe a new class which will come in future ? Thanks in advance for your answers |

You can't find many people not because the game is empty but because its so large. Really, you could have thousands of people on one of the many plantes and they still would not run into each other. Just travel in a Speederbike from one end of the planetmap to the other of any of the plantes, and you'll understand what i mean. There's too much space to make people meet each other outside Mos Eisley / Major Starports. |

Hi there, how about skill caps in that game, i saw in the statistics that max lvl is 50, are there any other skills that can be developed without artificial cap-limits ... or is this like in many other mmorgs, when you reached max lvl you can't improve your character anymore ? |

Hi there, does someone know a good fantasy mmorg without an artificial level/skill cap ? A mmorg where you can develop your character further and further, without reaching a cap, like for example lvl 70 in WOW or lvl 90 in SWG ? The only game i know who has this is Tibia, you can develop your character there without limit, it only gets harder each time you have accomplish a new lvl (need more exp for the next lvl) ... but that's a 2D mmorg that did not go with the time, when it comes to graphics. Are there any new MMORGs that have a lot of magic features in them where you can develop the charcter itself (or at least certain skills/aspects of it) without being limited by an artifical lvl cap ? Thanks in advance for your answers |
