yes, there is PvP, tryed once and that was it, I fell that classes and races are very unbalenced, but it's like real D&D, I wouldn't expect a caster to win a tank, unless the caster has some realy uber spell to kill the tank, oh and most spells don't work in PvP... crafting? dunno, I don't realy spent to much time in foruns to know about it |

I'm sure you can have lots of fun with a trio, but you may require more players to do some of the quests. if you're new to D&D I advise you to create several character until you fell you came up with a strong build |

ddo is basicaly grouping and questing. you have some quests were you can do loot runs, it means that you can enter the quest and the the itens from a certain chest without finishing the quest. you can solo some loot runs |
