I get about 4 hours of sleep a day, doesnt bother me at all, i go to lseep around 3 am and get up for work at 7 i feel sleepy for the first half hour but i get over it quickly and i dont take any caffeine, but yea school is coming soon, i try to get 8 hours of sleep a day then because well dont want to fall asleep in school.  Personally i wouldnt take sleeping pills, i guess you could try staying up for 34 hours or something then when your really tired go to sleep at 11 or 12 and set an alarm for 8 hours later, and when you wake up youll be slightly tired but youll have enough strength to make it through the day and once again at 11 or 12 youll have no trouble falling asleep, then wake up 8 hours later and hopefully your sleeping scheduale will be normal again, thats what i used to do when i got jetlag worked well and might work for this too.

 

Im pretty sure he took ambien.  Its the most widly perscribed drug for sleep, and if you happen to stay up after you take it, you trip balls.

All im saying is that, a theory is technically a sensible explanation(prediction) to a natural phenomena, that has been tested

You could come up with many theories for any natural phenomena but only the ones tested and published have become known.

No I'm not "one of those people" I smoked weed many years ago and did many illegal including opiates. What I'm trying to say is that consuming any form of addictive drug knowingly is a pretty weak and idiotic thing to do. When you're a kid it seems different, and all those old people are just Nazis that don't understand. When you grow up you realize that smoking weed isn't really a good idea and it only causes problems. If I was to stereotype you as you did me I'd say you're a teenager early twenties max that thinks weed has little to no ill effects and you only use it to relax. Also weed has very beneficial medicinal effects that old crustys like me are too stupid or prejudice to except. Well here's some devestating news, most old crustys like me were stupid teenagers that believed all that at some point. We've been there done that and bought the T-shirt, when you hit 30 you might actually "get it" and realize you were pretty stupid to smoke weed in your youth. You maybe 40 years old, if you are that's pretty sad.

 

Herion is the hardest drug to kick and has the lowest success rate for people who try to kick it. Methedone is pretty similar to substituting tobacco for weed. What's the point? You want to kick a habit not replace it, the best way is cold turkey.

Weed causes plenty of deaths, dealers killing eachother for a spot and producers defending their harvest with guns, users getting into debt and turning to crime. Legalize it? That would solve alot of deaths but the goverment would have difficulty taxing it. Dude im talking about replacing an addictive substance with a non-addictive substance...  'Nicotine' is addictive.  Cocaine is addictive.  Cannabis is habit forming.  Ive been a daily cannabis smoker for about a year, and I can go one or two weeks without it no problem.  Im sure somone who's addicted to nicotine cant do that.

Long term use is only shown to have slight effects.  Even then you would have to smoke excessive amounts (4-6 j's daily)

Now, I don't think all of you know this, but apparently, there is this hump on the tobacco Camel at 3 days. I didn't realize this until a friend told me, so I celebrated...with a cigarette. Last Sunday, I went to a golf course to shoot 9-holes. I had never been to this course before and I was a tad...well surprised to learn that this was a smoke-free establishment.

This was one of those, "Out doors" golf-courses, in case I did not mention that.

Now, I don't know how the smoke from a single cigarette gets trapped in a 4 square-mile golf-course, causing 300 cases of second-hand smoke, 299 lawsuits, and 20 deformed babies, but I felt obligated to not light-up. Don't ask me why. The officials were in their 80s. I could take them.

The course was pretty nice. I shot a 50, which was half of a hundred millimeters, which is the size of my marbolo longs, so I had to smoke.

You said no religion teaches love and peace, when 90% of all NDE's report a light at the end of a tunnel, when they reach the light they are overwhelmed with a feeling of love, well being, ect.  The "light'  People say is 'God' the whole universe.  Its very hard to put in words, the colors of the light are not of this world.

NDE's are responsible for thousands of atheists converting to devout Christians.  A handful have gone on to be preachers.  Basically, everyone that comes out of a NDE, their life has dramatically changed.  They say the main goal in life is to love, and that nothing else matters.

Im not going to explain every detail and report of an NDE, look it up for yourself.  I spent over 10 hours researching this topic non stop, its truly amazing.  It gives you an insight into the afterlife.  And if anyone thinks that a NDE is oxygen deprivation, or brain chemicals misfiring, please for the love of God, open your mind for once in your life.

 EDIT: Oh i just remembered.  Does anyone remember when revo made that thread awhile back, about him being in a serious car accident, and was actually pronounced dead for a few minutes?  Dig up that thread and read his experience.

There is a perfectly scientific explenation for "NDE's". Don't be mislead by religion.

I've read some pretty convincing NDE stories that people have told before though.  Ones about where they came back and told what was going on at the nurses station when they separated from their body and moved down the hallway past it.  I've also read some where people went to other folks homes and told them what they were doing and saying at the time they died.

 

I think you may be able to replicate something similar to an NDE, but when you read stories like that it shows that the two experiences are in fact something different.

Not to mention, it's not always best to just brush everyone off as not knowing what it was they were going through.  I bet there are plenty of people who have had NDE's who would just brush you and you're "understanding" of the whole thing off as well.  And they've been through it, so I kind of side with them.  They say it is absolutely real.  And they have no reason to lie.

There is a lot of hussling going on with NDE's. Plenty of people looking to make a quick buck, and other then that: Don't believe everything you read. there is a lot of bull going on. NDE's also often contradict each other. for example, you mentioned that you found a story where a person went to other folks homes and told them what they were doing etc etc.

 

Here, I'll show you a different NDE story.

I'll be more than happy to take that bet with you. Keep in mind that there is nothing scientific to support the religious side of NDE's, nothing at all, combine that with the fact there is a scientific explenation for NDE's and you got yourself a winner.

Again, there is a scientific explenation for NDE's, one that is supported by science.

I have read many stories of atheists and agnostics seeing the light.  Reporting a mind blowing brilliant experience.  So i dont think this is entirely religious. 

These kind of things just aren't staged.  And it can happen to anyone.

Science just can't explain NDE's.  Oxygen deprivation and brain chemicals misfiring are the only 2 theories ive heard (Real creative)..  So explain how that is supposed to cause the exact same incredible experience for thousands of people?  Everyone is different right?

Talk to anyone who has actually had a NDE and let them tell you how real it is.
