Two healers has been the answer for now. Thanks for your ideas. Have 2 healers leveling up fine as long as they group together and back each other up with the lead. I chose an inquisitor and a templar and this duo is working. Why can't the mages have wands to heal, also we need blessed blessings to heal as adornments or enhancements on all items, and the alchemists should make potions that really heal a decent amount instead of the little heal they have? That way players could pay $16 a month per account for characters we enjoy playing. :) |

Have played EQ2 for 3 years and NEVER had a good dungeon experience with EQ2. Your EQ2 help is needed. I can not ever go into an EQ2 dungeon again without remembering that on Saturday I left a mere short dungeon for the daily double with a 4.5 percent death penalty. My analysis of every EQ2 dungeon group I have played with is that there needed to be way more healers, or the programmer who said it was for mid 80s players was mistaken and he/she meant mid 90s, or a way to heal myself as a guardian, or the programmer needed to be a little more player friendly and fun when making the mobs. Heal potions are way too light, the guardian can not heal until after the battle ends, and the healers are too weakened by the programmer is an idea I toss out to you. Any ideas how I can learn to stay alive in EQ2 dungeons?

I play PvE. Is there is a way to avoid PvP in Craft of Gods? How, meaning is there a PvE only server or do I run away or is the pvp in an arena or...? WIll try it out if there is a way to avoid PvP. Chantilly |

What i saw in the Allods game chat window was some players pleading with the other players not to use the cash shop until the prices were lowered. Some vocal folks thought the pricing way too high. I had already bought the larger bag and the larger safe deposit box and was delighted the team refunded my money for the already purchased items when the mark-down happened. From that chat window is the only thing I can tell you. Chantilly

I read that Alganon will go to a license fee only paid game. Then the servers will be free and there will be an item shop. Like Guild Wars was in the past is how I picture it. I am a regular Alganon player. I will welcome this change and happily spend my gaming money in the item shop after they award it to those of us already paid for time on the servers. My hopes are that the game will be enlarged so the "sandbox" will be more interesting to those that seek adventure and exploration of terrain. Can you imagine being stuck on a tree or mailbox and you have to re-log to get loose? It sure would be best to keep telling players to use /stuck when they get this little trouble in their Alganon game. Some quit the game over the nuisance of getting stuck. Use the /stuck command in the chat window and you will be free. When you play Alganon, use your brightness control to set your color up so the game will be more cheerful. The murk is murky, the snog is snoggy, you get the idea. :) I need to laugh and have fun in my games. By brightening my Alganon world, I am happier with the game for sure. If any of you are looking for a game with thousands of quests available if you want them, and lots fo crafting possibilities, then go to alganon.com and try out the "free" server. Some of us who spend our play time there would enjoy your company. Chantilly

Is New EQ2 Expansion Like Last Expansion?
The Tavern (General) « Everquest II 2/14/10 5:15:04 PM
Crafting and 'swarmy' dungeons requiring parties are not my passion in every game, so knowing my lack of appreciation, please review the new 2010 expansion after you play it a few days or weeks for me. Worth the money to me you think? I have 4 EQ2 accounts and they are closed for now. Reason- last expansion was a non-fun experience that cost me over US $200. Top that with over US $60 per month subscription, and it was a shame to have to leave, but nothing in the expansion was for the solo-minded adventurer player imo. So please remember to tell me if there is enough to do without crafting and sitting in the snow waiting for items to appear so that one player can have fun. :) Best wishes to all of you super game players. We ordinary players really appreciate you lots. Chantilly |

The name of the game on my watch list is "Iris." It is no longer at the website I had for it as home page. Their third closed beta ended in November 2009. My notes say it was fully featured with instanced dungeons and separate PvP areas. Is it just hiding from my view for now? Is it gone? Chantilly |

Read that the toons are being deleted for the open beta on Tuesday the 16th. You can bet I will be trying to find out what I can about the deity blessing for the next summoner that I will be making on the first day of open beta. If anyone knows, bet some of us will enjoy the blessings of the deity system once we figure it out. :) I plan to play Allods, but will not put much real money into a pvp game. :( Chantilly

Level 19 Summoner. At level 18 I got a quest to set some will-o-wisps loose on a rise. When the mission was complete, I had a small typeface god's name on my picture, also had a little rune symbol. When I mouse-over it I learn that I have lost my halo. Well, shoot! That is all I know except that I love what the attributes of that god are going to give me. Is there a write-up somewhere I missed about this system? How do I find the way to invoke this blessing? How long will it last? Do the runes I see in the Auction house match mine and is that what I should buy? LOL So tell me what you experienced with the deity, and/or what you know about the deity system, please. Happily posting info that NCSoft was able to verify my account and sent me the name of one of my characters on my Guild Wars account. It was 2006. LOL I forgot.... Many thanks for this forum and for you dedicated, smart folks who are here to give me a feeling that help is near. Chantilly

At log-in Feb 9th, 2010, Guild Wars has added a blank for me to fill in one of my character names as its security question. That was never my security requirement and I don't recall the names. I emailed the support address and that failed to help. Any ideas how to compromise this naughty little security surprise so I can play my Guild Wars account again. It was paid at NCSoft and it looks like a management change may have happened. Am at a loss where anyone is that can tell me the answer to the security now. Chantilly |

Same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago like this- I had 2 accounts started in 2006. I got an email advising me one account was banned and it gave me a link to click through to argue my case why it should not be. Only I had to enter one of my account names and password on that link to get in. It may be a fraudulant action and not really Blizzard doing this. The tip off to me was that only an account was the target. I never gave the info to anyone so that is not an option. If anything leaked, it was the admin that leaked it. :( It is hard to imagine Blizzard coming after those of us who have not opened our accounts since 2007 like they don't want us back. More like someone trying to steal anything left in the account? Can you think of a valid way we can check on this matter?

(1) To gain more players, I would drop the cost of Alganon to Free to download. Then I would charge ten dollars per month to play, not the fifteen currently charged, Having more players in the game will fix Alganon's enjoyability a lot for me. Last night there were 6 players on Hokk, pretty toon side. Only 3 were on the tattooed barbarian looking side. (2) Take the grind out of this game. Too boring and so many quests are broken I only do quests half-heartedly. I crash all day long if I leave this game running too. (3) The game is way too small. The land area is teensy for the cost of a paid-out by player game. Both sides areas of this game need to be open and made available to all players. (4) I want instanced dungeons where you sign-up to go in "next available." Then the game makes a party of 3 when 2 more sign-up and with those other 2 you get whisked to the entrance. I don't care who you like, go to facebook for that. Just play with the ones who are ready and there to go through instances. In fact, if you don't show the names of the players, just call them a, b, and c, then the party would run better. The vanity of the party thing in WoW and Runes of Magic is annoying to me. So disguise the players! If someone fails to play the dungeon assigned with the party, then no more parties for that person for at least 24 hours. I played in Alganon's closed beta and will play it through Star Trek's opening bell. Still play Alganon a bit each day. I played Horizons too and have to say it was more fun than Alganon.

My conjuror lvl 72 was asked to hide her pet to save graphics on a raid in eq2. Lots of folks thought /hide pet or /pet hide was the command to use. Then others thought to use an underscore or the pets name might work. Then still a third audience helped prove that to hide your pet is not under options. And nothing happened using alt + p. - Googled hide pet for over an hour, searched eq2 forums, and asked hundreds in-game. Anyone think they know the command to "hide pet?" |

No more blues here, got an account and play rocks in MWO. This is a great game for my playstyle. Loved Ultima Online ("UO") for many years and this game is right up there with the UO experience. The legal robot is great fun. Try this game and go to sleep a level 20 and wake up a level 24, all legal too with the robot working.

Thanks so much for the tips. I got an account. Always used numbers for the 2nd password. Think the security code was not working with any of my 4 PCs which means somehow my ISP or router was amiss. Really gonna love this game with pets. Have a suggestion for this game... sell disks of the game files in your online store so those who can not download it can buy the disk, install from disk, and play.

Can not create an account on Magic World even with the free armor code they advertise here. Spent hours downloading and installing the game. Have spent a week trying to create an account. Followed all the rules to create an account a hundred times. Wrote the support group. They said keep trying. Anyone figuring out the "Magic World tweaky secret" to get an account and play, post the solution please. (Keep thinking I am on the wrong page or something to get one.) I enter all the info and try to create it and the form resets clean with no account made. I enter all the information, try to submit it, and the page form resets for me to start all-over again. grrrrr Want a fun pet game like I hope MWorld is badly. Miss UO for the pets and maybe MWorld is the game for me. I spent way too much USD on pets in the Myth War shop and would enjoy doing it again in a new game :) I will keep trying to get into Magic World and sure hope one of you knows exactly how to create an account and enter an acceptable password there.
