Im having the same kind of probelm, when i go to validate the code it says its invalid even though ive copied it down right. can anyone help?

your suprised? about what people expecting people to do their jobs, GOA fucking suck and have let everyone down. People in europe just get dumped on constantly when it comes to things like this and im tired of it

Will Warhammer Online open beta even be available to play for people in europe today?

Okay, so i looked at this thread and was really excited because i have wanted to play this game since before beta even started! Anyway i followed all the instructions got a beta key and when i try to make a mythic account it promts for the beta key it says 'invalid key'.

Does anyone know what the problem is? or is anyone else having this trouble? Im positive i entered the code correctly and in ll different manners of CAPS, hyphons and spaces.

Oh right.........How silly of me for thinking that everyone that plays Core and RP are 'REAL' PvPers, I guess to qualify for that you have to be willing to sacrifice your freedom to do anything other than PVP because if you don't your sure to be ganked by others such as yourself.

Anyone can be a 'REAL' PvPer, you dont have to sacrifice substantial parts of the game by going on an Open server.

Like you I also can't understand why people would choose Open Servers over Core ones, from the start this game was designed around the core ruleset and so it should've been.

I think the reason they have implemented the Open servers is to cater to all those people that like to go around and gank enemy players just to ruin their day and make themselves feel big.....I mean honestly whats the point? Its just sad! Especially if you were on the recieving end of that gank how would you feel then?

On the Open servers you can be attacked by other players from the start I mean wheres the fun in that?  This makes progression with your characters very difficult when at any point you can be killed unsuspectingly and then have to run all the way back to whatever it was you were doing.
There will just be constant masses of people ganking each other throughout the server, kinda defeats the purpose of having PVE at all if all you get when you try to do it is a mob of players chasing you.

Core servers are much better and also much more practical because it gives players freedom to do what they want, what I dont get is why people would rather roll in an Open server rather than in a Core one just being flagged all the time? Essentially thats all the difference is tbh, that way if you want to bash the living snot out of a likeminded player you can, it just prevents you from picking off players who dont wish to PvP which is what makes it fair.

Thats why I intend to Roll all my characters in the Core servers so I have the freedom to do what I want when I want without having to worry about being killed all the time.

 

It genuinely is a relief to see that some people think in the same way i do, most people i used to play with on GW prefered nightfall and thought it was amazing, i really couldent see it, i thought it was a severe disapointment but at least it got me another PVE character which rocks! Profecies if definately the best one of the 4, GWEN and NF are a disapointment and factions is so so.

Wow, i didn't know that there wern't going going to have heroes in GW2, i can honestly say that im relieved, and tbh i think the single companion will be great, because it will appeal top both social and hero using players, giving the best of both worlds, i genuinely think it will be a good idea because it means that a person can only have 1 each, making a max of 4 in a team. And also i think they will generally be used to fill in the gaps in missions, for example if there is no monk (which there frequently isn't) then people can use their companions as a solution. I really hope they get GW2 right, if they do it will rock!

I totally agree with most of what you have said, and yeh i agree that GW should introduce hard events which decrease hero usage and increase player socialisation, but tbh thats what they tried to do with GWEN and tbh they failed, miserably.

Dungeons, while they are quite challenging, some of them can be completed with heroes, but that raises the furthur question of who the hell wants to?! Ive spent ages in a dungeon with a guild team, i think it was Oolas lab or something, only to get squat at the end, after all that time and effort, pointless! (and i know oolas lab is a crap dungeon but ive been in others and tbh there all alike, with no garentee of a worthwhile reward at the end)

I didnt particuarly like GWEN because i always felt it was trying to simulate what other MMO's had, for example instance raiding in WoW. GW introduced dungeons and generally they really sucked, taking lots of time to complete, no garenteed worthwhile reward for all your effort, and the scenary inside the dungeons is terribly dull and repetitive.

I'm looking forward to GW2 and i hope they will get it right, as apposed to what happened in GWEN

Yes but thats exactly my point, because so many people think in the same way as you, theres no such thing as "grouping optional" because everyone plays with their heroes and when loooking for a PUG your practically forced to play with heroes and hench or go without, expecially in nightfall and EoTn.

GW profecies is what defined GW as a great PVE experience for me, this is largely because IMO it has the best campaign, and most of all it is or at least it was SOCIAL, thats the main problem with GW now, Heroes.

I HATE heroes, with a passion. mostly because they take the mmo out of Guildwars, i mean whats the point in paying with a complete noob that doesn't know what he is doing when u can play with heroes who have great skills, great gear and will get the job done? well il tell you why, because mmo's are for being social with other players and heroes well and truely have killed that. whether they get the job done or not is up to debate, some suck and some dont.

But the point is, when GW had only henchmen in the beggining, it left you with a choice: either play and socialise with other players and complete the mission as a team effort, or take the risk of taking henchmen (which suck). Basicly it almost forced people together, and generally this isnt such a bad thing even if you lose because you can learn from the experience, go again and even make some friends.

All heroes do is show people's relunctancy to socialise with other players, when they can go out on their own and slaughter everything this makes the gaming experience very jaded and boring because it effectively almost becomes single player while adventuring with heroes and henchmen.

That's why i recommend GW: Profecies over the other games as generally speaking you will see less heroes in it than any other campaign and it should have the best social experience out of all of them, if you are going to experiment with GW i suggest you play them in this order: Profecies, Factions, EoTn, Nightfall

 

Ive been monitoring MMORPG.com for some time now looking for a new MMORPG and i came accross this one, which from the screenshots and vids looked pretty cool.

Anyways what i was wondering if this game is actually playable in europe because when i got an email from MMORPG.com (handing out free Reqium keys) it said for north american players only.

so is it possible to sign upto the beta not being in north america or will it be available for european players soon?

hold on, does this mean that the beta invites have been sent out already? because if so i didnt get one!

What precise date the beta will re-open?

How many more beta applicants will make it through for the re-opening?

if any1 does know, you information is greatly appreciated as i have been on the newsletter list for what seems like an eternity and with no MMORPG to play at this time i am literally DYING to play this game.
