Thanks for the reply, oh so there is not much in the way of pvp? so no loot ect? i'm glad to hear there is no BG but i am really quiet keen on giving the game a go.
oh and i noticed the game has ALOT of classes, however do they all kind of overlap or are they quiet unique? And are they well balanced, each has it's place in a group ect? |

How is the pvp? is there BGs ? Is the game alive and kicking? servers arnt ghost towns are they? And what is really fun about the game try narrow it down to one sentence, is it the sense of being in another world type thing?

great write up thank you, i am glad i didnt buy a new computer for this game, i would be fuming right now.
However i have one question, why do other guild not try kill the grinding guilds and win the are back?? surely u could gather a group and just slowly pick off a few lvl 80's or is it like wow where lvl diff is very big factor so like lvl 70 vs lvl 80 = no chance? |

Will either of these two comptuer run AOC and are they worth it?

i'm looking to play AoC and i need a new comp so i'm looking to buy a new one and i saw these two fairly cheap but not quiet sure if 1) they are worth it and 2) will they run AoC?
first set up:
Gigabyte Motherboard NVIDIA® GeForce 6100 / nForce 430 chipset (? the hell is a chipset?) 2nd set up:
i dont know whay hyper memory is or anything like that, i found both of these on ebay by the way, if anyone wants to refer me to a better site please feel free
both are at about the 800$ AUD mark |

The title says it all, the man who was often mistaken for a FC employee due to his dedication to promoting people all this game promises, what do you think of the beta so far?
This is NOT flame post! I just curious to hear AA's view on the game so far...

Losing levels?! fuck that, thats just a greedy ploy to keep you playing, and we don't want the DP to be harsh to make your life hell, please we want it to make the game live up to it's theme, harsh, dark and gritty... brutal! It can't be easy, you cant run into a camp of Picts loot a chest for ur quest item and run out without risking something, i don't want it to be "oh well if i die i just corpse run and try do it properly, or not at all" I hate that, plus it will help with farmer's and if you don't like it you can always go play on the PvE server... so hey don't hate so much. All i'm asking for is Item loot, just 1 random item, could be a potion or it could be your newly polished Dragon Helm 3000x whatever, just so there is incentive for PVP and a deternt for stupidity.
So please be more open minded and this goes both ways for you so called 'care-bears' and us so called 'hard-core pvpers' |

yeah.. it seems like it will just be like wow with conan stuck over the top, its such a shame i had massive hopes for this game i really wanted the pvp, but they went back on their word of pvp loot and game being dark and gritty and brutal ... sigh it's probably all the polls which were mostly undertaken by only carebears who voted for pvp to be nerfed... Oh well i guess TCOS, or EVE ... |

So they went from promising item loot and/or blood money to exp loss? F*** that this game had potential to actually be a really quality game but as it nears the finish line it is being morphed more and more into WoW |

Hey, i stumbled upon this game about 5 years back, it really wasn't much at the time but just today i all of a sudden remembered it and checked it out, seems like it's come a long way, after having a quick read.. it's still in development and has open beta. I myself ain't much of a role-player however this game looks to have great potential for role-playing, so i guess this post is more or less a heads up for all those looking for a Roleplaying game, maybe check it out. I'd love to play fury, but my computer simply isn't good enough... as soon as i upgrade i will give this game a go i highly doubt it's as bad as people say. |

Tcos is looking like a really kick ass game, but ive been reading all the Conan books and i love the world.. and the promise of non-carebear pvp ... but if they make blood money and that sort of thing i may just play Tcos, WAR doesn't really interest me, i really hope there is a month difference in release time between tcos and AoC so i can try one, and then the other and not have to play both at the same time... |
