everyone who bought the game was "bugged" by the false advertising.. thats why no one plays anymore. At this point it wont matter to both odf the remaining players if they do another server merge. I think they are both on the same server. |

First of all I know what fact means. No I do not and have not played Darkfall. As i have said, I have common sense. I would not by a car with 2 wheels and no transmission, or play 3 card monty on the street, which is what a person who plays Darkfall has in essence done. What gives you the Idea that AV is attempting to put things right? |

as for research, no i meant reading something like the last 12 months of the developer journals, and looking at the mass of videos and screenshots that are out.
it simply amazes me that anyone could be naive enough to think that MO will magically release without the same collection of early bugs and "missing content" that DF released with. MO already has only a fraction of the content of DF now, and by the time MO actually releases DF will have had 6 full months of improvements and patches. MO has less features than flyable boats and spam left cick run in a circle zerg combat? I can't immagine a game havin less than both of Darkfalls features. |

I think WoW should end happy, doing what it likes, and surrounded by friends. My idea is on a normal Friday night, WoW does it's normal routine to go to the gay bar for a few drinks, surrounded by friends. WoW and Darkfall are really hitting it off on the dance floor, and sudenly the gas main has a leak, someone goes to light a ciggarette....all are killed instantly. At least they all go out having a good time, doing what they enjoyed, and surrounded by friends.

Just a theory, but this change may be intended to prevent that - to give the NA server a better chance at a fresh start.
Are you sure you have been following Darkfail development closely? I am just asking because if that were the case you would know that since Tasos has mentioned a NA server, there will be no NA sever. I find it funny how all these people are expecting an NA server to launch given the sad state of affairs AV is in. It appears that It is impossible for them to open a NA server financially. Besides out of the 4 Americans who wanted to play Darkfail, only 1 I think is waiting for the NA release to play. Out of the other 3 they have already quit EU just because the game sucks, and that leaves the last guy Dread OG, but he is a mental case, so whatever. My point is the do not have the funds to open a new server, and they don't have the interest in the US to make any money at it.. |
