Its weird.  When you look at it you'd think you'd hate it.  But you don't it actually does become fun to play.  And its weird because the gameplay is terrible.  I really don't understand why but it has some cutiesy charm to it.  Its weirdly amusing.

I've been following WAR for a while and I agree it is awesome! I can't believe the lengths that the WAR staff is going to keep us informed up to date and otherwise happy about their product.

What I really like about them, is they try to humanize themselves.  If you look at the WoW outreach team which is a bunch of pissy posters on their forum and then look at the WAR outreach team and see them scream at each other in comical ways on their Podcasts one is just extremely more fun to follow.

I like following WAR for its amusing Podcasts and videos almost as much as I'm following it for my excitement for the game.

I think its kind of a trade off.  True the brotherhood feature will make it easier for goldsellers to powerlevel accounts.  On the other hand I just think its such a cool feature.  Its exactly the kind of thing I always wanted.  I have very weird playing times.  Sometimes staying offline for weeks at a time and other times playing for nearly 40 hours a week.  The brotherhood feature is perfect for allowing me to stay at the same place as my friends even with my eratic playing schedule.

Hahahaha.  You gotta wonder sometimes if they will ever be innovative.  They have a really good team, I'm sure they could come up with something, but alas...we have WoW.

Seriously though, he's right.  The game is a great game, if a little simple, but it is undeniably a great game. But its old.  Its been done.  We've done instance exactly like the new content that has recently been released.  Sure you put new skins on it, it looks pretty again, but its old.

I've been playing this game for two years, pretty casually, and I've literally done everything the game has to offer.  And I'm done with it.  It needs something new or I'm gone.  And I'm not talking about a new expansion that will just add more instance just like the ones we already have.  I mean something NEW.  Something that hasn't been done before, or at least WoW hasn't done before.

Not only do I believe that this is fake, I sincerely hope that it is fake.  Right now the last thing WoW needs is more of the same.  And that is exactly what this perceived expansion is.  Its more and more of the same thing which made WoW in the first place.  The problem is I don't want that.  I'm sick of it.  I've played your instance for two years, I've done your battlegrounds, I've done your raiding, I've played your arenas.  And I am sick of it.  You need new blood in your game.  You need more classes, you need more varied types of gameplay. You need something that will be new and original and not just more of the same old stuff we got two years ago. And people are going to quit, if everything they worked for, for the past year becomes completely useless once greens the next zones drop that have better stats then your epics. I've seen people quit because of this before and I'm sure more will again. I know I will.

It is impressive.  The way that game is design its fun and easy to play.  It takes all the best elements of all the old MMOs and and simplifies it.  It worked.  At the expense of the depth of the gameplay.

Unfortunately, no.  Revamping the graphics would not only lose at least a portion of its player base but it would just be a waste of time.  What WoW needs is new gameplay features.  Its a great game, but there are only so many times you can run the same instances over and over and over. Then you move on to the next instance with similar bosses, similar trash, all of course with shinny new skin so it looks new and different.

There is only so many times you can be excited about a new piece of equipment before you just don't care anymore.  WoW needs some type of alternative advancement or something. Cause as it is, people will eventually get bored of the same old.  I have. Others will.

Personally I've skipped out on VG because I heard so much complaining about it .  I was neither a fan boi or avidly against the game.  I just heard that it had many glitches and therefore steered clear of it.  I am, however, excited for the improvements being made on the game.  For once they fix many of the original problems with the game it will likely be an incredible game, far out shinning the likes of WoW, Guild Wars and the other big names.

Though if SoE doesn't hurry up with the game fixes its going to be lost in when a huge number of the current MMO players move on to the next gen of MMOs (Warhammer, Age of Conan...eventually, hopefully, Darkfall).  Cause once people get their hand on the next gen there is going to be no hope for VG, its going to be old news.

The game looks great, I'd be interested in a trial key.
