I don't think you understand what censorship is. This isn't a government forcing them to change their content, Frogster made that decision themselves to enlarge their market. Yeah I would say censorship is a first world problem... and I think it should be seen as a negative thing since all it does is let grown ups act like children about words and visual themes while thinking they are protecting someone.

Good luck with the petition, I hope it does change something, I certainly wouldnt buy this game if they did that kind of change as I prefer to play games with mature visual themes, definitely dont want to play a game that is obviously limiting my experience to what in their eyes will allow them to make a better profit, cant blame them as they are a company... but I also dont have to pay them.

I cant say I never play games that do this but I'm already between "hhmmm yes...no....yes" on buying this game.

Yeah I figured as much, tried to find additional information that is current but doesnt seem to be any other then the couple of things you can find with a quick search.

Looks fun from the japanese videos that are on youtube, nothing groundbreaking but interesting nonetheless for the fact of it having permadeath.

So, I heard about this on here somewhere last year october I believe.

Which is when most sites cease their information as far as this game goes, now naturally that would probably mean that there just isnt very much information that has been added in regard to the release of this game outside of asia.

Though as someone who actually really wants to play this and thought that there is no way it wouldnt have gotten out by now... I wanted to ask if anyone is playing it? What is your thoughts on it in that case?

Regardless I do agree and wish that these kind of things could be released and available worldwide right away, unfortunately its a sort of complicated matter for several factors I'm too lazy to get into.

Heard good things about this game but never got to trying it, maybe I will now.

Thanks, when I made a search for it on youtube earlier it didnt show up and I didnt really feel like chasing it down further then that.

I do want to play this game again but right now it feels like GW2 isnt that far away anymore and I'm playing the TERA weekends right now, not sure if I'll buy it later but its fun.

Probably just do like the rest and simply wait to see how  good 2.0 will be.

Combat is where this game shines. The quests are the same old crap you'll find in every MMO since 2004 but the combat is very skill oriented.

Sadly, the skill the combat takes doesn't really begin to shine through til after the starting zone. The starting zone is...well, it's just horribly easy. Players are petitioning En Masse to realize that it's too easy, but like too many dev teams, they'll probably realize too little too late that first impressions are everything.

I really hope it gets more difficultt after the starting zone... I've tried a few different classes so far til level 4-5 and the starting zone isnt even funny how easy it is.

I've started to just initiate combat, stand still, hold left click and dont care about whatever the monster does since I can always kill it ALOT faster then it kills me without the need for dodging or anything.

The only remark I got in about 7 games was "be careful" because I got killed early once. That's all.

But then again I play on EU west, that might have something to do with it.

If what you're saying is the truth, then you have been exceptionally lucky and I wish you have that luck further ahead but I already know its only a matter of time.

If somehow lower levels were less flammatory then I've forgotten that, either way once you get a higher level you can expect flaming and rudeness in 9 out of 10 games whether it be towards you or amongst others in your team, if I was counting the opposite team as a factor then its more like 9.9 out of 10 games.

I play very late at night though... That surely has more to do with it.

I play dominion for the vast majority of time and I dont notice much difference there regardless of the time. I've had very few times where it felt like everyone was an adult on my team and if there was any chatting going on it was simply humorus or a helpful tip without the usual snarkyness or sarcasm.

But yes maybe if you play the regular game mode theres a noticeable difference there in regard to the behaviour of people playing depending on what time it is since I would guess most kids have no choice but to go to sleep before midnight or around that time.

The people who want more censorship and believe thats the right way to go rather then free thought and education to understand right and wrong:

-Oh this looks like a fun game, wait what this elin race, wow... thats kinda sexy... but wait they look very young, oh god, what am I thinking?! I demand you remove this! I demand you censor it! Or else I might accidentally get a boner while playing it around friends and family.

I'll be honest, even I find it hard that whoever the asian minds behind the lore that spawned the elin race wasnt motivated slightly by... hmm... personal libido?

I dont feel however that means we shouldnt be able to tell stories or not be able to be creative in ways like this, where there is a race within a fantasy world that simply looks very cute and girly.

I guess I wish we could just be less censored and close-minded about all things in general. I wish we all would simply analyze and think about things more, instead of simply reacting to whatever our initial or secondary emotions end up being.

And even when our conclusion after careful thinking is that we still dislike it... we dont go out of our way to ruin the thing for others who doesnt find problems with it.

Its not an advantage, we just want to have more customization options to our time in-game.

Well you get some customization options and such but otherwise everyone gets the same cake with equally many candles.

Though the options that the developers provide is never enough and people always manage to create more helpful tools that add to my enjoyment of games.

Some of the common tools in other mmo's often lead to elitism and unfair tactical data that isnt readily available to people who chose to play the game as is.

How is it my fault that I decide to take the time to enhance my experience and others dont?

Yes the kids on the internet are saying racist things amongst other focused type of insults, how about instead of reacting like kids towards the kids (unless thats what you want to do) you simply use the ignore command/button and act like a grown up.

Im tired of people wanting to remove freedoms for the sake of their feelings being hurt, I dont like the fact that sometimes I get flamed or have to listen to others calling others bad stuff but I would still fight for their right to have the freedom of saying it.

If you really think these kids on the internet REALLY are racist then maybe you should focus on finding ways to make sure governments educate their populace on such matters rather then trying to censor what they want to say.

Internet is one of the few places left where people can say what they want and react how they want to instead of acting in the way that we have to because its "acceptable"... or are you one of those people who think that the politicians are telling you how they really feel about things and talk normally the way they talk to you?

So the next time you feel "offended" in a moba game, or any other type of game, react however you want (this does not mean going off on a killing spree IRL, for anyone stupid enough to think this) whether it be by flaming back, ignoring, muting etc.
