Oh, I did not mean to say that one thing was bigger than the other that made NC collapse. I just had this as an example, those three collapses this last year in the life of EVE, one of the reasons being wear and tear and that this (repeating myself I know) closes the gap aswell. |

The point was, people gets weary of the game and that makes things like this happen. Alliances leadership been logged for months in some cases. You got alpha fleets with <50 participants, CTA canceled after hours of formup. This wear already closes the gap more than a possibility to grind SP does. |

To quote something hitting in that youtube video of Vuk Lau, "At least we beat ATLAS record for shortest defence." This from the same coalition that sold the same fate to IT less than 6 months ago. |

I voted no. Not because I care for any kind of veterans, I voted no because I am pretty tired of games that gives 23(24)/7 players advantage level/skillvise. Sure you will have more options for ships if you make alot of ISK. With EVE I don't have to compete with players that have nothing else to do besides play a game in the same way as let's say [whatever]. |

I do not consider myself being more social when I order, whatever I buy, through phone as opposed over the internet. I also do not consider myself being social with workmates(friends) when I ask them for help, perhaps when we actually do the specific task. But each have their own definition of social and communication I guess. (Some would go as far as saying that chatting over MSN is not being social, how about that!) Tools like this rather makes it easier to be social with others. |

I just realised that I didn't see all of Telon.

Originally posted by Nicoli TBH I rather have CCP focus on these things than walk in stations. I look forward more to the interaction given with DUST, that playerbase and what it brings to the interaction to the current playerbase in EVE. To me it fits in the reasons that makes me play EVE, especially when comparing those reasons to other games.
I have been looking forward to walk in station, but as time passes my interest is fading and I feel more and more sceptical to it. I really do hope they implement it right.

If I compare Xfira and raptr and use games like SC2 and WoW, I come to the conclusion that Rift have solf 992 457 copies since release/preorder. Of course that includes downloads but not upgrades from standard to CE edition. |

Sometimes the problem is on the receiving end aswell. Some people, not only ingame, can not take what the other one say. Sometimes one just have to take things for what it is. (I often fall into this myself aswell. ) |

It's annoying in some way.
But for the moment it feels kind of meh anyway, the day there is only raiding for gear left to do I probably have left the game anyway. I also missed a bow as a ranger in a group didn't ever bother to ask why someone else needed it. Both had the same fair chance for it, I rolled and I lost. On the other hand I have played most games by spening my skillpoints in whatever their incarnation is for spending that renamed selfspendable XP. |

I do not trust XFire it is way to often that I find games not detected even if they was detected last time I played. Manual or automatic detection do not matter. I bet they are controlling the client to manipulate the statistics shown. |
