Originally posted by cefiro355 Kudos for expressing your (positive) opinion about the game. Everyone here has played this game, and quitted into their 30 free days. The most annoying part is that the box sales didn't reflect that. (And uhm I honestly don't believe the coincidence that the most obvious trolls played it rather then googling info. It should be a mere fraction of those that bougth the box that end up posting here. And a fraction of the fraction...) |

Originally posted by Coldmeat When you see a player complain on some forum that there Ipwn756 name has reported and that you actually see lvl 70 character in wow named fgsdfg. It could be disturbing at best, if not a sign of that it is one that you should bother with. But if ther is a saying over there "empty barrels sounds the most" it could be applicable here. One notice these name more then other regular and good names, and you also notice those that are rude more then the others. I think those numbnut tards will come to LOTR sooner or later if they already haven't. |

Originally posted by ghoul31 I really dont think that this game will peak at the releaseday/week. I'v had atleast one friend from other MMO that didn't know that LOTR:O excisted, none zip zero whatsoever knowledge about it. He just doesnt bother to find out what is the next game that one has to buy and play. Now I told him about it and he kind of not liked the idea to having to download the game etc etc. But shure he did after persuation. What I am saying is that regardless of beta, internet hype, you have a huge market of players that play the game their friends play and gives a rat ass of what is the most popular game here on MMORP.com or whatever else forum. So... I am quite confident that LOTR:O will have their fair amount of players and thus it will increase even after the release, for being obviuos. |

Originally posted by M1sf1t Am I out on a limb if I'd say youre promoting EVE with that. Otherwise EVE could in some way meet you, although the player quest if I may call them so could turn you out cold. Or if you letyourself be fooled into a big fraud. There actually are some very nice aspects in that game that you may be looking for. |

Originally posted by Agricola1 That was cool. Thumbs up. You got some originality there. Incanse it is not being obviuos I am rude to you, making you out to be silly, pointing fingers. Talking babylanguage to you. What did you really add to this thread when I think most of the repliers already flamed Hero for being vanboy? |

Originally posted by tkobo Beside from the other things that you said that is a big part of the MMO(RPG) games likes these. I choose to specific to focus on that one sentence. If you have experienced the lore, the story of the hobbits. Frodos adventure. From either the movies and maybe worse also from the books. What is left to be explored in the game. Is it for sentimental value or are there other aspects that makes one want to play the game. I'm not referring to that the game has really good graphic, running smooth, the combat is nice etc etc. What does this game give to those that actually knows the Tolkiens Middle Earth? |

A little clarification on Vanguard's subscription numbers.
General Discussion « Vanguard: Saga of Heroes 4/07/07 7:35:13 AM
Originally posted by Markaj I'm not shure what you mean by that. But I don't think that anyone disagree with the fact that Vanguard wasn't made to be the top seller MMORPG. Nor do they deny issues. What people do is giving other sides of the same coin, maybe they show that some things maybe not are the way some random OP says it is. In my opinion I would not care if it has 50k or 150k subscribers. I just care to see if it will be around for the time period that I think it is fun to play. If that is 1½ month or 1½ year I get back sooner or later. I play on low/medium pop server and finding player scarse is actually one of the things I enjoy with this game. But it have not gone to that extint that grouping has been imossible. But because I have only seen most of the good thing with this game does not make me in denial. But if you will call me that. |
