no elves world was very big factor to me to choose play guild wars and age of conan. i loved in shaiya where elves were just enemies to kill

same to me, i quit at lvl25 or so. i m pvper type but being forced to go pvp while i am lvl25 against lvl 40+ turned me down.

and shame for the author of the article. its the type of player who likes the game play itself on autopilot. where the hell is your need of adventure sister?

Hey, i seek hardcore game with adrenaline (i am not pk by the way, just like sense of danger) 

Can you drop equipped items when you die, like in RoM or Shaiya? Or just from backpack (like in AoC)?

no matter how uber the game is, i dont have that much time to play it so pay2play is not attractive game model to me

guild wars 1 was the best game i played in my life but if it wasnt free, i would never have tasted it

generally idea is neat but i am afraid too many players will be attached to their first superhero

game is supposed to be RPG. you plan to take it away in favour of some long time strategy game

anyways general concept is nice but u need to specify if your game is paytoplay or free with itemshop. this has huge impact on solving permadeath. if its f2p u need items in cash shop that save from permadying (lke in shayia or shaiya)

if its p2p, progression needs to be faster than most mmos (like in diablo 2, pro player could regain lvl85 in 2-3 days)

or, there could be only slight % of permadeath in case of droppng health to 0. you know, those avatars are supposed to be heroes and that dont die easily

Hey, i had a blast in Shaiya but permadied unfortunately. Looking for similar game, because i dont wanna grind all over the same sht.

Runes of magic was cool but they have no death penalty whatsoever and i want dangerous game.

I dont play much so paytoplay doesnt fit

Any recommendations?

when i think of the world i would like to be, i recall playing sid meiers Pirates! So great times of adventure with many factions to serve. And what about inca/maia myths? u could even add some scifi aliens as builders of pyramids

but if he is past runescape maybe mortal or darkfall will not be too harsh

how fast levelling is? Is there any death penalty? how much the world is player driven? i am looking for game similar to shadowbane but with better graphics (and freetoplay, so dont  mention darkfall)

i am asking because that made me quit. i thought that one day everybody will have this sht and pvp will become carebear.

but maybe they made it temporary? for like 10 or 14 days, like in shayia? game was great, i could play it again

i got bored with lol. its funny on low because people are not cautious. but later everybody is waiting for lvl 8-10 and only then real game begins. i just got bored because in every 5v5 game first 10minutes are........yawn

gonna try bloodline champions but would like to hear comments so i can save myself time trying everything out

hey, be more open minded. aeriagames had shitty games too but then shayia came out.

i also think that rpg genre is most fun, although i myself am pvper and love competition. but the adventures i lived through in FF, Fallout or M&M series are unforgettable

this is so much omg. didnt know its just behind the corner. civ4 was a blast to me, although i couldnt beat highest difficulty levels. never seen such replayability in game, aside of diablo
