Just another RTS game, there are so few good ones, doubt this will be one of them from what I have heard so far about it.

You just don't get it, do you?  All Blizzard is doing is saying it is not trademarkable, at least not by Valve. The only bad guy here is Valve trying to trademark something they have NO right to.

Just cannot tell you how dumb it is to have marriage in a game.  Now we watch Rift head downhill too.

Don't really see what a big deal this is, especially on this site over FPS game at that.  Problem with trademarks, they far too easy to get and way too expensive to fight.  I know one company was trying to sue anyone using "Scrolls" in their game name when it is obvious the legality of such is extremely weak.   

As to DOTA, they obviously did not do their homework when they named the game.  Really stupid if you ask me when it is so easy to search for such on the net.  Really does not matter if Blizzard has a right to the trademark or not,  The name was already taken.

First off, Aion is still a wanna be game.  NCSoft tried to make essentially a pvp game that only had two factions and we all know how badly that always works out.  The ganking got out of hand and they tried control it with rule changes, none of which really worked.  The grind for the equipment was incredible although they have lessoned that somewhat.  Just another has been game as far as many of us are concerned.

I also don't see TERA going anywhere.  It is a bit different when it comes to combat, but beyond that it is rather similar to everything else on the market.  It obviously did not do well in Korea since they had to merge servers, but hard to say how the western audience will take to it.

As to Bluehole being pirates, that still has not been decided, it is on appeal.  My personal opinion it is a lot of crying by NCSoft, mainly because of so many defections by employees to other development shops that their Lineage III game is way behind.  Perhaps they should focus on better working conditions and decent pay for their employees than trying to sue those that left.

Not sure why posters have great fun pigeonholing people into catagories.  Guilds to me are groups that help each other out and do the multiplayer quests.  It is a game and delving deeper than that is a waste of time.  I play games to have fun, not worry about who I am playing with.

Please explain to me what Frogster has to do with TERA?  Nothing as far as I know, perhaps you used the wrong game or developer in this post?

This game still has a long way to go.  I don't think it is worthy of a sub yet.

Writing a MMO is no easy task and for Indie game makers with little capital, almost impossible.  Shame it comes down to this.

Complaining about a buggy game from an indie developer is like kicking someone when they are down.  It is just beneath you.  These people need your support, not your whines.

Perfect Worlds flight implementation makes Aion's look rinky dink and it was available long before Aion's was.  Maybe you should expand your horizons a bit.

Lotro has some really fine horses that I find are one of the best implementations for horses.

I thought the Wow 2 person rocket mount was tacky, the 2 person elephant was much better

The best of the best was the different beasts you could ride in SWG.  I had a great time training them for people to ride.

First off, you basically cannot buy this game used nor sell it, because it uses an online pass mechanism.  So spending $60 on it sucks if you don't like it, that is money out the window.

If a game, especially one that is basically single player uses a online pass, you should just boycott it.  Buying such a game just reenforces a publisher who uses such despicable methods.

So no matter how good the game it, it should be avoided at all costs!

No, they didnt, gamesworkshop switched the to resin at the same time as there annual price increase, they didnt increase the price because they switched to resin, people need to stop spreading misinformation.

What game are you playing?  There is very little end game content compared to Wow, not that Wow is that great a measuring stick.

While the numbers look great initially they will be consolidating servers before end of summer.  Just not enough content to keep people playing.

Umm far to easy to spend big bucks and to little to do unless you spend money?  UH OK!!! Yes you can deposit as much as you want but you have control over it, if you can't control it maybe help is to be sought, there are many places to get help for this type of thing and it is nothing to be ashamed of.  As far as to little to do that is all a point of perspective, if it is not your type of game just don't play it, go play your other games that are your type of game.  Quit telling people it sucks and it is not worth looking at who are you to say what others will enjoy or not based on dollar amount for enjoyment?

Because I don't like to see people get ripped off and this game will do it easily!  Why is it we get these few post fan boys on these very questionable games?

I am gonna check 'Hello Kitty Online' out, for that game seems to have more challenge than the latest and revamped offerings do.

Read the post below yours, they actually understand the change and it is a good one.  Nothing to do with dumbing down the game. Have to wonder if you ever even played EQ II, I don't know anyone ever that liked the way critical mitigation stat was implemented.

The chances of a online piracy law occuring in an election year, especially when SOPA engendered such heated debate are slim and none.  I guess the OP does not understand how nothing controversal happens when their jobs are on the line.

Is this game a grindfest like all their other games?

Oh what a mistake.  Guild leaders are generally power users.  They have a completely different vision of the game than most players.  CCP tried that with their council and that is a known failure.
