I dont know but I always have something to do on WoW. With 5 characters I am trying to lvl, keeping my skills up and farming gold, the battle grounds. I dont think that even at lvl 60 I will have done everything I want plus there are guild responsibilities to lowbies. Yeah in AC you did not have a topping out but in WoW there is always something to do. |

If advertising IGE keeps this sight running then I dont care. Beside the alternative is advertising for porn sites and while this maybe intresting my wife will question why I view MMORPG.com. Also, if you find the ads offensive put black tape on your monitor. |

Well you could have more of a RVR game with indians like DAoC. Those who wish to play an native american life could battle thaose playing an western life in selected areas for resources. This would have to be done carefully or you could end up with a game that becomes offensive to some, which would be bad for business. Since the tech lvl is lower than sci fi and higher than medival, with no magic, you could creat a game with alot of new combat. Since you dont have to script magic effects or automatic weapons and missle launchers you can concentrate more on trick shooting, mounted combat, cover, and dodgeing (since there is no armor) |

And here in lies the problem. Few companies are willing to risk the investment to do something out of the ordinary when they can follow the pack and make millions. A wild west game would be great but only if done properly. Think of what you could do. There could be range wars, outlaws and law men. gold mining, trapping and exploring a new frontier. A player , if the game is done right, could go off in many directions. I thing the idea behind Frontier 1859 is good but putting all that into place is a bit far off. Still if a company was willing to do half it would be good. When Coh came out it opened a new genre but the final game is limited. In a wild west game you would have to have more interaction with the enviroment and NPCs. I was hoping CoH would open up the market but most of the MMORPGs out now and in the future still fit the same mold of " kill the monster get the loot ( or XP)". Same thing with WW2 Online. great concept and original idea but very limited in what can be done in game. We need something else and companies should explore other genres to capture a changing audience. Am I right? |

I like 1st person but havent found a game were it was done well. I agree with everyone who agrees that EQ1 had the best 1st person play. You felt like you were there. AC had a terrible 1st person view because it was like you were looking out of you belly. I had a hard time playing 3rd person on AC after playing EQ but now I play 3rd for most MMORPG except AO which doesnt have the best view any in mode. |

Voted yes but not because of the game. EQ was my first MMORPG and it was the experience that I liked the best. EQ was new and had a big "wow" factor. But after palying a few years and different MMORPG I will never have the same experience. there is nothing new under the sun and while CoH and AC and WOW have given my thrills my first game before becoming experienced (or jaded) will be the best. Does this make any sense? |

The problem I have with WoWs crafting system is that not all the skills are created equal as far as value and you end up grinding for reagents. When you first start it the crafting has a big wow factor but then gets old and ends up become a far last place to other things. Thats just me tho |

What I hate are the SHEEP. They play every new game that comes out and love it until someone, meaning anyone, says "that game suxs" then they begin to lok for its flaws and cant look at the game the same way so they bash it and start playing what everyone is saying is cool, totally forgetting aboutthe fun they were having when they started. Also, I dislike people who cant say I dont like a game" they say "this is the worse game and anyone who plays it is stupid". If you you dont like a MMORPG bully for you, but dont insult those who do. |

I agree with LadyTyger, unwanted invites to group are very annoying because if I wanted a group i would be in a group. Unwanted duel challenges are usually given by people looking to rack up another victory and when they cahllenge someone who doesn't care about dueling it is an empty victory but the beat thier chest anyway. I just let those duel challenges sit there if I can without answer. Also, I hate the word noob. But the word newbie Ilike. I dont mind being a newbie if I am new to a game. Also, I hate people in WoW that have 20 different UIs going at once and insult you if you dont. |

This has probably been covered before but what does everyone think of the vast amount of Asian MMORPGs? Are they all pretty much the same? Are there any that stand out? |

Point taken. I think that WOW is different from EQ is different from GW. DNDo is attempting to break new ground which is a good thing. Will they succeed is another thing. Right now there are alot of MMORPGs that handle things differently so you have a chose based on what you are looking to accomplish and what you enjoy. Comparing any MMORPG to another is like comparing watermelons to cherries. |

But you had a real live DM to adjust the situations to fit your group. DNDO will not be the PNP game. since it is a computer game there will be "min maxing" and "template/build" characters. MMORPGs are all about this. IMHO there will never be a MMORPG that can match the diversity of action and scope of a PNP because you have to have a way to reponde to the players actions. Those who will try DNDO because they want the PNP experience will not last long. Those who want only to play MMORPGs will probably enjoy what is offered. |

Is there a free trial for the new AC1 with an online download? I will buy the new game since I think it is only like 13 bucks if there is a 30 day trial. Anyone have information on this? |
