Wow ok this is gettign a bit crazy. I dont see why your ashing the guy he is just pointing out that DF has made him see that he is packing on pounds. I see where he could eat better but no need to bash him. But then again 100% of trolls and bashers are fat so in all honesty you guys have little room to talk.. Lol well i am lvl 35 on here and its not that bad. You do run around quest from 1-25 then do some party quest to hit 40 takes about 3-5 days but i have seen most ppl quit be for this even hit lvl 10 (first job change) so i guess the games for some and for some its not. If your willing to wait past lvl 10-15 then id call it a fair grade i see you hit 11 so i respect your opinion. but i have seen some idiots claim RS2 or ghost X is better then this game lol played them both nothing wrong with the games just poorly ran

To be honest this is a great game i played it for 3 years. The item mall they put in to the game is NOT ruining the game since they are bound to 2 servers. And it lets others sell there toons once they quit. Most ppl dont play because  of the 15 a month or the fact that as i hear alot "its a WoW clone" Even though it was released way befor WoW lol. Sure its run by SOE the company that ruins all the games it touches but still a fun game.

Lol fail...this is way beyond fail. this game is a chunk of fosilized crap. they took my CC and ran up a 4,900 dollar bill...(Still fighting it) so yea cant wait to see this place burn in hell

lol if i still had my sub going id take u up in my cruiser.. Its a nice thing to have..great defence and you can man one of the 6 turrets while i fly..or i just park it and join in on the fun..i have lvled a few ppl like that all the way to max in about a day

LOL whats with the "WoW Clone" crap i see about every game.. Hell i had ppl say EQ and EQ2 were WoW Clones..THEY WERE OUT BEFOR WoW lol. And this game is more of a L2 clone if anyhting. Trust me i know. Also its no use trying to compare this to WoW since well WoW is a simplified version of Other mmos that died in the past. I like WoW but i do not play it. nore will i play this game..or atleast for a while

Well i would recomend free realms its a bit more for yonger people but it will do for now the download time is short the game is pritty simple yet fun and its free lol. Its the game i use to keep in touch with my Girlfriend when i travil

Vanguard is actualy a good game if you have someone to play with. But if your going solo it gets a bit boring lol

Ah the wrath of someone who dose not want to wait. lol I downloaded EQ2 AND LOTRO at the same time and was done with the full installation andp laying within 3 hours. You have to remember THEY ARE HUGE GAMES EQ2 is a 13GB game and LOTRO is about 9-11GB (With expantion) But they are GIVING you the full game not just the tutorial zone. So just leave it on over night if you dont want to wait then GO BUY THE GAME! and IF you dont want to do that then just stop complaining and find a 2D game you can download in 5 mins..since that seems about howlong you want to wait

I like LOTRO alot. I dont know what the one guy means by how turbine treats there players i have not had a single problem with them infact i get more help from them then i do from blizzard lol. LOTRO is a simple game and its not a 100% copy of WoW like s few other games i have played. There is a bit more stratagi involved in the combats. The warden class can pritty much solo its way though the lvls. B ut so can other classes. The comunity is mainly mature players who are willing to help (on most servers if i remember right firefoot players are pritty inmature compaird to silverlode players) but the selection in classes is simple. The tutorial is nice. If you want i can give you a 14day trial key.

yea they got ALOt of updates. Most are small though so it wont take to long. By the way go to silverlode server

the comunity is nice and helpfull

dude i know some of the Devs for this game. It was NOT there choice to rush it out the door it was the damn publisher. Devs have little power over it all they can do is make the game by the Date set. The game was not all that bad i mean i enjoyed it and played it for about 1/2 its life. But it was not ready. Your post is just overly harsh.

Im on silverlode and the comunity there is one of the best i have seen in my 10 years of MMOs. From UO-EQ2 and all them inbetween asfar as kinships i have YET to find one that is not looking for new members. Try geting off your butt and asking in the advice chan OR looking on the forums. and as for armor its called doing quest >>. I got some damn good armor from those quest and then i started making my own. As for WoW. I played it and well i HATE it most of the comunity is inmature there are some nice ppl but not many. I have tryed all the servers. but that was back in TBC expantion

Well i have allways played as a paladin,brigand,swashbuckler or a Shadow Knight. Sknight and Pally can take on a few mobs at a time without worry and do ok amount of dmg (mostly curse or holy spell dmg) Brigand and swashbuckler are basicly the same only swash is queynos and brig is freeport, They are stealth fighters that do ALOT of DPS but if they get more then say 4 mobs at once things can get a bit harry. Also Warden or Fury is good they are typicly healer classes but they can solo prittywell. Or if you wish to eleminate a need for a party in the lower lvls you can go as a conjuror,Necromancer,Illusionist Or Coercer, all but the Coercer can summon pets. Necro and conj can summon animal companions and elemental ones aswell.

Where illusionist summon a clone of themselfs (great for messing with your friends minds lol) that have more or less all the attackspelss you do at the time. And Coercer is well.. A puppeteer they  take controll of monsters and make them fight for them. But after the timer runs out the monster is back to normal.

Anyways, someone asked me a question about playing evil chars like the regular chars... I, as a dedicated MPvP player (and I think I have alot of them on my side when I say this) would NEVER like to see LOTRO turn to a rabid all PvP gank feast camping Bree. LOTRO is a great PvE game and MoM expansion is just awsome. And that is should stay! But as many of long time creeps I feel the Moors a bit small sometime. So some kind of Monster character only part would be fun :) But they have to come up with some more interesting missions then what they have now :P Just as I grow fond of my little Hobbit hunter or my Elf champion I really like my squishy spider and I think it would be fun to have a Monster character to develop from Hatchling to Den Mother or what you might call it. Yes here are things as Rank, but that is PvP and not the same as PvE development.
On the question about being able to just jump into PvP with a premade lvl 60. Yes it is great to be able to do so. And as I said earlier I tend to spend more time in the Ettenmoors as a creep then on my regular char. But sometimes I just want something more for my creep :)

I agree with you. i been with LOTRO since it first came out and i have yet to be let down. It dose not let you play as the evil side due to breaking the lore. But they do allow you to play PVMP as one of the monsters but thats not good enough for 1/2 the ppl. As for the rabid fan base coment heh. Most of the players on the game are 18+ its a pritty mature comunity well on my server anyhow.So BEFOR you star flaming the game go play it for more then two minuts and give it a real chance. If not then go back to WoW where you can play both sides of the story.

Global chat usualy means /yell and /area or /regional and no /trade   though  regular local chat from what i read will not be effected.
