I do understand, you don't seem to understand.  5 hours of game time is gone, vanish, no longer there, not existant -lol- So things ARE lost...  It's like play EQ 1 8 years ago... level 60, taking 5 hours to get one level, and they roll back to level 60 again.... that's 5 more hours your are going to have to play to catch up...

Do some research on the game forums, some people would rather have the NIC back then the EP... so I know people have DEFINITALLY lost stuff.

What I'm saying is during that 5 hours roll back people did loose something... your saying they lost nothing... but they did...so I'm just pointing out your statement isn't accurate.  People can accomplish alot in 5 hours game play...

What people seem to forget... yes you gain skill points for everyminute, but you aslo gain wealth, items, loot for everyminute you play aswell.. so all and all it's loosing something

I happened to purchase skills for my alt, a new bot, and mined... so I lost alot.

Nothing lost? what about all the things you did for 5 hours on launch day?  I consider that a loss.

Seems people were missing EP (skill points).  They've decided to roll back servers to launch time (1PMEST eta).  That's 4-5 hours people lost of game time.  I for one mined, during that entire period... all lost....  this is not a troll, but more of post for all to see how the devs will handle this....  Ores, loot, Nic, EP, Purchases, all game in actions are back 5 hours... that means alot of things lost.

I will keep this posted updated...

Saw some game play videos on youtube.  The movement and camera look very clunky... character animations are very stiff... hopefully they fix that before release...  Character creation looks very limited too.. 3 body types, then assortment of stances, and assortment of skills, and basic costume skeemes.

I read this entire thread, agree with most of it... but I know this off topic, but I will say this "Fallen Earth" is not a sandbox, not even close -- it's a themepark -- ie.  It's driven by quests... and just because you can put skill points into areas you want, does not make the game SANDBOX.

EA is just the publisher, they will have very little effect on the development path... BIO and Lucas film are big, EA will not beable to push them around...

This is an older schools tyle Ultima game.  The player base was fairly active.  It's similar to Ashen Empires and Dransik.  There's not a whole alot I can remember about it... other then there was crafting, housing, pvp, pve...  I remember each movement would deplete you food, so you had to eat on a regular basis (if I remember correctly)

tried as adminstrator, uninstalled, put in c:\lotr - I still get the same error :(

This game looks like RealmLords... it's using the same pre-made engine.  Realmlords was fun, hope this one opens soon.  I miss realmlords.

It was texted based, with a beautiful webpage client... it tooks a few weeks to get started, because you had to wait for to people to give birth.  After they give birth you're put into the game, as baby and mature...  It's mostly a roleplay game.

Aside from the game not working for win7 users properly, Netmarble has bigger concerns.  Multiboxing is destroying the community/markets/fame.  The game is being flood with Asian's aswell, the asians destroyed their own servers, there on these new ones destroying them awsell.  I'd pay to play this game, but f2p, it's getting destroyed.
