I tried all weekend to get a copy of the client... but around the halfway mark the download would freeze :(

When is the planned date for you beta test? even though you change your ideas alot, it's nice to play an old school game.

I played some of this DEVs game in the past, very fun - old school... but I have a problem taking him serious, he must have made 3-5 rpgs games now... so it's hard for me to get involved with his games, knowing something I like will be canned for something new.

Where is a common kid going to get 300$ to lay down on a video game?

Currently downloading the game.  I've broke, and have decided to give this game a try - there's not a MMO out there has keep my interest in some while.  Hoping Vanguard will.

As I understand this it not a solo friendly game? But is solo play possible? I love grouping plan on doing so in Vanguard, just sometimes I don't get alot of game time.  So when time is limited I plan to solo, when I have more time to play 4-6 hour play period, I'll group.

do we pay the 4$ to get into open beta? if so is the item shop online WWW or in the actual game? I have now problem playing 4$ aswell.

I will say this again and hope to not have to say this gain.  FE is not a sandbox, not even close, it's a themepark.  There a missions galore, and you have to do missions to get AP cap.  Attention FE is not a sandbox.

Most graphical games have some sort of physics molded into their game engine... so in actuality most games have physics... weather it's leaf falling, a tree swaying, a corpse falling, jumping off a clift, an arrow, or spell... those are some examples

Guild Wars did this many years ago.  So no it wouldn't, but still a good game.
