I did also see a few people fall threw the world but I seen that in every game I ever played including EQ, EQ2, DAOC, AO and WOW. I was lucky enough to get into the old EQ beta testing with my old guild in that game, and the content you tested 99% of the time was changed at release.
I find this game to be refreshing twist with its new way of fighting. I enjoyed the fact that you don’t auto attack, and go make yourself a sandwich come back and loot the corpse. This game is going to require you to think and that is so refreshing.
Sorry for getting off topic but I ran this game on my pc that is a decent specks.
AMD5200x2 and 3gigs of ram and two 8600 in sli and windows XP.
The game on high settings was unplayable, and on MED it was choppy all to hell, but on low it ran great. So my conclusion is that you will need a monster of a video card (8800 or better) to run this at the highest setting and if you have two cards in sli will be icing on the cake. I also think it will not hurt to max out your ram for this game. And for all you kids that are QQ about how bad this game ran for you try running it on a pc that’s not running windows 98 with an 8meg video card and you might enjoy it. |

Building a new computer, Some advice please.

I just built a new pc my self I went with an AMD 64 x2 5200 and I went with sli mobo. I put in 2 8600gtx 3gigs of ram and I have installed Xp right now due to old programs not running on vista. But I will make this rig a duel boot machine in the near future with Vista. I went with the 8600gtx to get dx10 capabilities in the future. I did spend a little over 1,000 bucks but as of right now I don’t see vista being the Os four me right now its way to buggy a lot of the things I like doing don’t run on it. Micro soft has yet to impress me with any of the OS that they have put out in the past few years at their launch. I think people are paying all that cash for an operating system that in my eyes is still in open beta. I give it at least a year for them to get the bugs out and the rest of the software developers to get new programs out their compatible with the now OS before going to vista IMO.
