Vanguard and EVE seem like pretty good games, but both are on almost every person's list in the "YOUR WORST 5 MMORPG'S" thread. It scares me knowing that many people hate them.

So can we get some positives+negatives on both of those, please?

As the title says, I'm looking for a good MMORPG that doesn't have a ridiculous amount of hackers. A few don't bother me, as long as there aren't like open hacking forums for the game where noobs can download anything they want.

It would also be nice if there were no/small amount of gold sellers.

Drop me a PM if you ever find a game with decent game-play made after 2000.

If she does get into WoW, (which is ridiculously boring) make sure she creates a male character and pretends to be male. Otherwise she'd be trampled by the 13 year old fat kids asking her if she's hot.

On topic: I haven't seen a female-ish game that's P2P yet. Most of the cutesy games are F2P.

60 days to reach the Max Level in Maplestory? I lol'd so hard!

60 days will get you to level 45, 50 at the most.

The level cap is 200.

Yesterday the first person reached that cap. He grinds 14 hours a day (With double exp) and the game has been out for 3 years. Do the math.

I tried Angel Online and it blew.

I like cutesy-anime 2d point and click games that are English based.

Any suggestions?

On topic: ROSE Online has a large adult community. I jumped around several clans full of adults joined by their own kids. There's very few immature children and they can be easily ignored. Unfortunately the game gets pretty old fast, and there's an unchanging max level ;(.

Good luck in your search though, I'm in the same situation.

EDIT: This may be different now as I quit 6 months ago.

Yet another person I agree with. I made a guide (in the few days I played) about saving money in the item mall they deleted it for a completely illegitimate reason. They said it was filled with sarcasm and igg bashing.

Didn't you get the memo. Saying graphics don't matter no longer makes you look cool. See, we all got together and realized that decent graphics have a huge impact on gameplay, which in turn effects the fun factor. Nowadays there are only three types of people who say graphics don't matter:

I don't care about graphics neither. I have played a lot of games, and from my experience, all F2P games with amazing graphics have horrible gameplay.. It's a balancing beam, and works with every single game out there.. What very successful game with amazing graphics and gameplay do you know? I know I can't count them all on one hand.. you probably can't neither.. lets face it.. the worse the grpahic the better the gameplay.

 

Ragnarok, Maple Story, Runescape.. all VERY VERY VERY successful games, and their graphics suck really..

Angels brings the excitement in like RO did, and as you level  you don't even notice grind at all.. so many quests, community is great once you get in a league.. the game is fantastic. I am loving this game.. probably better then RO.. way more features. This game deserves to be on the PS3.

Graphics fail to compare vs gameplay.. it's how it is.. you can't get both, so chose one.

Maplestory's graphics are amazing, and the game sucks.

Runescape sucks and so does the graphics.

I really couldn't disagree with you more. The community is horrible and 99% Latino. I'm not being racist or anything but I assume you are latin american. They're the only ones that enjoy this game.

I played for 3 days and got completely over it.

There's absolutely no point in playing this game unless you speak Spanish and are rich.

You will be greatly behind EVERYBODY unless you spend hundreds of dollars (literally) on Item Mall.

$50 to upgrade a pet that can die and run away from you at any time? Unreasonable!

$40 to reset your skills? Unreasonable!

$60++ for an outfit with zero extra stats? Unreasonable!

 You can only register 1 character on 1 account unless you pay $30 for the multi-char card.

There's also only 15 slots in storage unless you pay $30 for a 1-month increase of slots.

No thanks, leave this game to the rich slobs or those who can't manage their money. Angel Online and igg in general is way too item mall driven. I remember on the news how there was a problem with kids on MapleStory spending too much cash on Item Mall. IGG's games are so much worse.
