Thanks for the report.  I've fixed this issue up.

For now we have postponed the removal of @MMORPG.com email addresses.  This still might occur over the next year sometime but it will not be at the end of 2009.  If and when we do remove the ability to have an @MMORPG.com email addy we will provide the appropriate functions to make our users migration off of the system as smooth as possible.

Thanks for the heads up we'll check it out.

Alright I found an issue with invalid pages in links and fixed it up a bit.  The link in the thread above should work for you now.

We'll check into this and make the necessary fixes.

We are getting ready to update our forum editor to a newer version that should take care of your issues.  Should be done this week or next.

We removed a system on the site that would leave a user logged in indefinitely once logged in and left a tab to the site open.  This was causing multiple issues from contests to bloating of our session system.  The session timeout was a measly 20 minutes and probably not enough time for a lot of folks to type a forum post.  I've upped the session timeout to 2 hours now.  I did fix a pretty large issue with forum links a week or so back that was causing people to get directed back to the general discussion area.  For threads / posts that have been deleted we'll add a message to the page when redirected to give users more information on why they've been redirected.

Clicked on the "QUOTE" of the second post [Bribarian] and the site keeps saying not logged in and i was logged in.I repeated it several times.

I can't seem to re-create this issue with my admin account or test accounts.  We did recently remove a piece of the system that kept users session alive for an indefinite period after logging in as long as you never closed the browser window.  It was causing issues with some folks and the contest system.  I've bumped the session timeout up from 20 to 60 minutes in hopes that this could resolve some of the login issues.

If you guys can recreate this anywhere please post it here or even better email with the link to make it happen consistently at ben @ mmorpg.com.

New comics should now be updating properly.

The OP is correct the forum search feature has been disabled for performance reasons.  We're working on getting it back online and have the site search working again.  Forum search will be back up once we get the issues ironed out with it.

Not sure about your apostrophe problem is they work fine for me in FF.  If not this wouldn't work.  Anyway what version of FF are you using?

About the site performance during peek times the forums can be a little slow, we're working on a solution for this.  If you look at the bottom of the pages you can see the time it took for the page to be created.  Also where are you located in the world?

You guys can always use the Contact Us form to reach us.

This forum does get checked but the fastest way to get ahold of us is to use the Contact Us form linked off the footer of the site.  We fixed an issue like this just a couple weeks ago.  If you're still experiencing it please send me the link where you're seeing the scrollbars, a screenshot of the issue and your browser / system / OS information.

The Noob was removed from MMORPG.com since it was determined by our staff that they were using it to poke at a reviewer that gave their game a low score.  When this occurred we pulled the comic from the site.

Stay tuned this week for an addition to the comics area that will allow you to create your own comics and view others that members of our site have created!

You should be able to delete them by logging in then going to your gallery where you should see a delete link under each image.
