How can they really expect people to buy this?

I understand and agree with your points, I really do. I'm only here because I was searching for honest updates as well. We all pick and choose who to "listen" to and who to "ignore". I didn't do beta or pre-order because I smelled the BS just in time. I don't play now either. I watched the outrage, read the posts, and tracked this thing like a bloodhound. I shared and still do share the feelings of outrage at Funcom's attempted duping of my person. End result is that I still don't see anything that would entice me to buy this game as Funcom has not changed and I'm fed up with being blatantly ripped off by the mmo market. |

Same...I left 2 accounts and after a little over 2 years for all the reasons stated above, even though I left my guild. I have other reasons as well, but don't wish to waste any more time on this game. Let's just say I left a little over a year ago and have yet to actually miss it. |

You know, I'm not a huge fan of how this game launced etc. But really, why do you even post when you've already decided that they're idiots and should rename themselves "Failcom". Are you that anxious for a freebie? |

PVP is a sad joke as it comes down to a 1 point of ar/dr difference. And to get that you have to spend tons of in game money as well as real money. The business model is for the cash shop. Just about everything in the cs is accessible by the f2per, however it all still originates from gold purchases and is then repackaged or resold to the f2p community. The cs drives the ingame economy. AFK is the way...period. Zero socializing. Not many goals. Not much payoff. After a year already, I still don't feel connected to my toons. |

This is an example of what's wrong with this game - the community...

Yes, there are ways to get around the "clan requirements" but I think it takes alot more patience and money than the average player is willing to invest and possibly even strains the hard-core player as well. |

I've read the reviews and posts about the decline of the community numbers but plan on moving there myself within the month. I'm not really concerned about the raids since I won't be able to do them right away anyway and seems they have some pretty decent features available. Luckily for me, I wasn't there in The Day, so I should gain some enjoyment from it - which is more than I can say for these imports. |

I played Hero about 4 months ago....stayed for about 2 weeks. The leveling was okay at first, then as I got into the older areas I was constantly encountering aggressively disruptive behavior from the playerbase. I left because that playerbase has to have been the rudest, most immature group of people I've ever encountered in my 8 years of gaming. |
