I do have to say this is a pretty low way to do things. They probably do just hope you forget about it. But lets think about it on the other hand what if you do wish to keep your account because you enjoy the game. It does save you some hassle. Finally, in the 90's when UO was huge! People payed to beta test. They had people forking over like $5 to beta test. Also if you don't like a game you usually know in a couple of hours if that or days not 14 days. So cancel asap when you realize your not enjoying your time. |

I am so excited for this new Upgrade. I can't wait to start playing again. I am a vet from the 90's It was like heroine after i took some I just wanted more. It got to a point were i was literally addicted and now I am quiting UOAA. I quit playing UO in the early 2000's becuase I saw better options like DAOC or guild wars and WoW (WOW was some retarded) Hopefully they can rekindle my deep thirst for UO. People who like the old graphics it's cool I enjoy old school to be this is gonna give the game flare and hopefully a bigger player base. lol lest the graphics aren't so hardcore i don't have to upgrade my vid card (sweet!). |

How does this make you feel about microsoft?

I think most tech savvy people have always know there were better alternatives out there. But that means your not main stream which creates conflicts with compatibility. You begin to feel like an outsider when nothing runs on your computer. So you have run windows inside you os anyways just to make anything work. i am personally happy that people are starting to realize there are alternative like Linux which run much better. windows 3.1 man thats old. But that was when Windows did have the market at it's feet. Everyone had a chance to become top dog Microsoft just did it best. Good try though apple! |

Personally, I've been thinking about jumping back into UO with the new graphics and everything. That game offers a very wide variety of choices. Not in character appearance but in skills and things you can do. I know plenty of people who had pure craftsmen characters. While others had pure war's or mages. Then when the game really gets interesting is the hybrids like a war/mage or a mage/tamer (deadly combo). But it gives you so many options in your choices of skills. Also it gives you the freedom to build a house however you like it. Finally, you can do anything from sell stuff by running a small business, hunt and earn money, or craft, etc (alot more options) pvp is some peoples life. But i think it would be a good starting point. It has a wide variety. It's like a buffet, why get all chicken? Theres steak and pizza why not have it all? thats what UO is to me. |

The graphics look really good but I've been wondering personally if I should go out and pay for this game. Can someone tell me if there is one the best decisions of my life or one the biggest let downs ever. Because I am about to jump back on the UO band wagon and do that again. |

Well, shit it's kinda like when you start a game and you know your char sucks and theres all these ways to make it better that you don't know about until like your almost max level and you kinda kick yourself for not saving yourself hours of time. I would see it kinda like that. As a chance for a fresh start because you would know the tricks and everything. So you could probably get back to where you were in a matter of a half the time or less. So i myself would just see it as a chance to make my character even better if it's something like specing totally wrong or something or grinding a terrible place when there was a great one just a little ways away u had no idea about. So just turn the negative into a positive. |

Personally, i don't think the idea of a samurai class makes much sense. because most mmorpgs already have a warrior class or an assassin class. Wouldn't a samurai be just another war or assassin? I guess they can add it to the game but in the days of samurai's, samurai's were to kill them selves then be captured. that would make some annoying game play if they went with the realistic ideal of the samurai. But other wise the FF game I've no knowledge besides that. Your best chance to find on is to just google it. |
