Lemme say how stupid to review this game. Why not something idk current? This review isn't going to bring in any new players into a game that is almost in Beta stage. Maybe u should find something more useful to do with your time :/

Ya this was a stupid post GW has never needed mounts or been about mounts. Its a game about exploring not bypassing the shit u don't to fight by running past it as fast as possible. By not being able to simply run past mobs it forces to work on your builds to suit a wider variety of enemies.

I've been playing this game for almost a week now and I love how much stuff there is to do and how easy everything is to navigate. The auto path is a really nice feature for questing. The quests aren't super hard but i feel they took the right approach with this. It's a FTP game so why make it about grinding skills and xp and not make it having fun and interacting with people. They even implement quest which force u to go out and meet people. Plus the events everyday are fun to partake in!

First thing, Sales will go down. Alot.... But many people will buy vista to play the game also. So if you only bought basic home edition then thats 170$ in microsofts pockets. Ok now microsoft is paying the producers of the game to make it vista only. So in the end it won't hurt anything but probably boost sales of microsoft vista. So it'll look like less sales but in the end there make it from the money microsoft will give them for being there lil slaves.

Gwen Is going to be a amazing expansion for the GW Series. I think it's been long awaited for for an expansion that lets you go on with your level 20's and offers more options (dungeons) besides the constant quest that you do over and over to bet a campaign. I've already pre ordered personally so I can't wait to get playing.

The feeling of good pvp isn't what you were feeling in guild wars. Although it is in fact good and bad. You are feeling the evenness to their pvp. Everything is even and balanced so no one is a good and the others are complete noobs. They also don't have uneven battles for 10 vs 8. unless someone quits. Then you still have a chance to win if you work as a team.

Daoc does a decent job evening with realm bonuses and relics and stuff like that. But anyone can join a pvp battle so you can end up with 20 mids 30 hibs and 12 albs. Now this doesn't seem fair at all when it's 30 vs 12 and you've got a 2% dmg increase. Well that isn't gonna make up for the 18 other chars dealing damage to you. Now is it? So in that way that is were DAOC fails.

I completely agree. Now when I play the only Evil that I see is FL which I've been battling all my six years of playing. Back before samurai Empire (which I will get back to) Aos gave Uo that feeling of good vs evil. With the Noble paladin, and the dark necromancer. Now it seems like the necromancer and the paladin are butt buddies.

I remember back during Aos when I meet lord British in game when he was rallying us up to go fight Orc! He gave out sashes and gave speeches! It got you so wrapped up in mob mentality that you would have killed yourself for him. But even though we were charging on to fight some crappy little orcs and orc brutes we all were so excited to be part of something. Now, Uo has the town crier spam all day "Hey! um god what was I gonna say???? oh oh ya, imps in moonglow! uh..... go fight, be brave?" and So everyone stays in Luna carrying out with their business.

The point of Medieval was brought up also. Samurai Empire...... I took my break from the game right when this was released. I come back and WOW!!!! it's so gay..... The only thing Samurai Empire did besides lower economy cost for doom arties was ruin pvp. Now when you dismount someone they turn into a wolf or llama and run off as fast as a speed hacker (will be brought up later). Also Bushido junkies that have legendary bush and parry so you can't ever hit them with anything.... That includes magic and weapons. I do not get a medieval feel from Luna when theres a ninja siting next to me spaming his sweet sword for 2mil. They also ruined the pet system with things like foxes, and birds and dogs. Dragons, and Mares, and War horses are all good medieval pets. A fox with 6 tails is not.

The last point I am bringing up now because just talking about this is making me think of going out and buying DAOC, is speed hacking. Sense the day I begun in 5th grade!!!!! I am now a junior in high school. Speed hacking has been a major problem with people using it to their advantage in pvp. FL doesn't use it as much <---- But they used to use it so much that when you went to Fel you lagged and you died. You wouldn't realize it for 2 mins because the lag was so heavy. It's still used today to raid peoples champ spawns. Also to kill a mob of people. Example, One archer vs six of us. He out run all of us on foot and was going so fast he killed 4 of us before we could even get him to 1/4. Not because we suck or he was insanely good. But because he had us lagging so bad and was moving so fast it was impossible to catch him.

I know for one thing alot of games are like that were you seem to eed to level to have any fun. Games like WoW for example, you can't take 1 day off or else your way behind in leveling of your friends. Then eople won't allow you in there groups and you can't go to the same instances as your friends. So then you level up so you can be with your friends agian. Another thing is most mmorpgs are a grind to level 20 (estimate) to get any new skills or get a real class be sides the generic clas of "New Player". So yes there definetly is a pressure to level.

Well, i just started playing UO again last night after quiting 2 years ago and I personally have fallen in love with the game once again. But for a good medieval game get DAOC. This game is pure medieval in every aspect. You capture castles and fortresses, use siege weapons, It's an amazing game. You can ride mounts and craft weapons and armor. I suggest start with that game it will medieval suit you well.

This isn't surprising with the low low populated servers. Just think, that money they've got to spend to maintain the servers. So it's probably costing them thousands of dollars a years to maintain the servers. So it's probably a smart move to save money. Lol and of course it's free. imagine getting an email you have 1 month to fork over $20 or however much it is (i think it's more) or else your characters are being deleted. That would be a really crappy thing to do. But technically legal ( if you read your users agreement ).

I think it depends on the server at first. If you are pve it's far less dependent. But for pvp it totally is. The better the armor and weps the more powerful you are as compared to someone else at the same level and with same spec. Weapons are a huge deal with your dps. dps can decide a pvp match almost instantly. Armor also in many cases. If someones got purple shoulders there gonna surpass someone with green shoulders. Also If they've got a purple wep and armor they are gonna own there opponent with the increases to strength, stamina, agility, etc. So yes in some ways depending on server type WoW is definitely gear dependent.

Lets see... I know the longest mmorpg I've played was UO. I started playing it in the 5th grade. I quit playing 8th grade. I think I stayed so long because of the ability to do whatever. It's not like omg! Now I'm behind all my friends in levels or they've completed all the quests and I haven't. It's like ah I've had a nice break for a couple days lets get back on and get back to work. it's a very laid back game were you can do whatever. it's not like a crappy game like WoW were all there is to do is level so you fall behind everyone if you take 3 days off. Thats probably why i played UO longer than any other mmorpg.

I believe healing is so boring because you don't get recognition for it hardly at all. Warriors are having players say "nice kill" , "WOW thats a crazy crit". While healers get "F@3king heal me before I die you worthless pile of $hit" Nobody wants to be yelled at for trying there best. So you sit back while some newb with high armor class and wep dmg gets all the glory and you get the last choice for loot. Oh boy :( So maybe if we treated the brace people who actually dare to be healer some recognition then there would be more healers to go around and people wouldn't hate to play them because there so "boring"

The Wii is a great console for the first week and a half you own it. then it becomes boring and repetitive really fast. They need some new releases for it. The Xbox 360 is a amazing gaming machine but it runs off Microsoft software so it tends to crash like a mofo. The PS3... um ya you look nice but at what cost? Also what are you really offering besides good looks? unless it's holding down the paper on my desk it's useless to me. Wii out sells but also sells it's self short in fun and choices of games. Xbox 360, thing is amazing but might as well have vista on it for how much it crashes. Finally, PS3.... *sigh* why must we always ruin a good thing? Thats why the ultimate gaming machine is Our computers. HaHa suck on that you console lovin newbs!

Lol like thats anything. They won't even pay for the space to hold there updates. Basically someone has to man up ( like I use to do) and go download it off some other site. Because I installed WoW on my main machine and it took a good 2 hours for all the downloads to finish because of firewalls, and other crap. Then when I installed it on my second machine for my lil bro I went online and get them all within 10 mins at max. So I don't even waste time with blizz downloader. I recommend to anyone just google the patch and you'll find it and download it 3x faster than blizz downloader.

Personally i think quiting WoW was one of the best decisions of my life. That game was amazing at first then turns to crap in a hand basket right quick. The game sucks horribly after level 40. You get your horse then theres nothing to live for in that game besides grinding and showing people how much of a life you don't have by having 10 level 70's and the best mount and armor and wep in game and how you pick on newbs. 3 cheers for you for quiting.
