Everyone dosnt hate this game, only the haters and people that envy sucess hate wow, the rest of the 8 million players love it.

The way of the world really, people always envy, and are jealous of sucess, either because they cant do it themsleves or that the persons sucess reflects badly on their own game.

Please pray tell, give reason on exactly why this game is like wow?

Anyway, he has a few good questions, wondering the same about the split in location based on storyline bit myself.  I can't access the forums as I'm not in beta, and information elsewhere is limited.  I'll be pre-ordering regardless but it was a question that popped into my mind right away when I was moved onto the second part of the intro story.

What part of OP is a review?  let me guess your one of those persons that thinks being in beta means levelling up the fastest and being top level.

M8, wows pvp is not restricted, even if i played on a pve server i could go and attck IF/Org or any other town or city for that matter.  Pvp server i can attck whoever i like if they not same faction as me.

PVM is restrcited, due to the simple fact you have to hope any lvl 45+ are in that area, if they are not how are u going to do pvp? 

You can always do the pve quests for your lvl 50 monsoter in that zone i suppose then.  I

If you like instancing to get into any building or do single quests i suggest, DDO or LoTR,.

Player vs Monster is not PvP? Let's get this straight, there is a player controlling the PC (that's one of the 'P's), and there is a player controlling the monster (that's the other 'P'). The PC and the monster are trying to kill one another (that's the 'vs' bit). So Player vs monster really is PvP.

Your objection is like saying there is no PvP in WoW because one guy's is playing an orc or a bloodelf (or whatever).

Besides, isn't all your PvP really PvM - after all, trolls are definitely monsters...

 Pvp in lotr depends on chahrcters creating a monster lvl 50 and going to another region, and just restricted to that region, there is no chance of world pvp etc.  The PVM is a hybrid PVP/PVE style of play.  The only chance of pvp happpening in this region is if there are lvl 45+ PC in that region m8.  PVM is by no means any real pvp, like i said before this is just another term for pve.

Thats the problem with turbine, for some reason they can get away from instancing/zoning all building and even single quest lines at starter levels were instanced.

Thats the problem with most of you people, you start threads etc, saying you expect all the next mmos to be the next wow.  You play  a new mmo comparing it to wow and expecting it to live up to wow.   

Most reviews are done, saying like you have said "This wil hopefully be my next wow".  Thats where alot of reviews  and people bigging this game up fail.  You play this beta game deluding yoursleves hoping it will be wow. 

Man get this straight, this game is nothing like wow, and playing this game hoping it is your next wow is just playing deluding yourslef into liking it.    Like i have said before this is a game pure like DDO, just a more toned down version of ddo with less instances.  Like i have also mentioned before, turbine should be castrated for being allowed to make such mediocre mmos again.  read my review for an honest assemnet on this game.

You find PVM to be PVP?

PVM is not PVP, it is just another form of PVE, made to sound like its PVP.  This is nothing or even remotley close to any form of pvp.

Go look at their station acess page.  Full of games they have ruined. 90% of the mmo games they are associated with fail, must be the SOE CURSE.

Graphics-Same as DDO maybe a bit better

DDO has no open world and the chars design are completly diferent as mobs

Fun- if this isnt the most boring game ive played besides DDO, i dont know what is.

DDO can be the most fun game if you play it correctly besides has the best combat system out there.

Sound- standard music like every other mmo, nothing special, NOT speacial like a micheal jackson thriller album.

Community-  Must say nice community, most ive met seem to be mature, like op  said, could be due to its beta.  Another reason the game is heavily RP orientated like ddo, which always brings a more mature consumer.

Performance-  It performs as though its a relased game atm, vanguard designers and evryone assoicated should feel ashamed.  Good performance, nothing bad to add here.

PVM- Just another word for pve, do not be fooled by the word "Monster play".  This is NOT PVP.

I see you didn't ever bother to try it or your opinion will be diferent, ans yes it is PVP there is a player playing that monster char.

To all the people that say this is like wow.  Do not belive them, this game has nothing in similarity with wow.  The game is just missing something, it just dosnt have the Xfactor., it all just seemed a little to boring. Ive played beta for just over 3 weeks now, so please dont start flaming saying ive never played it.  The chracater ability animations, also leave alot to be desired.  Very hard to tell if u are using any abilities at all tbh.  I played guardian to lvl 28, maybe its just guardians.

Wrong again the chars animations on combat are much better then wow, yes you can't compare them.

Overall its an ok game, not great not bad, i would give it a 7.   This game will appeal to imo ddo fans, Rp gamers,  and or casual part time gamers, who want to get away from wow for a few hours.  If anything turbine have pumped out another Bore fest like DDO.

 yes you right here if you want to take a breack from the boring 5 to 6 hours wow rides come play lotro, because lotro is not a full time job like wow.

screenshots can make any game look good in single shot.  My adivce do not go by screenshots.

The game is alot let instanced than ddo, but still is zoned and instances.  Alot of quests, same as in ddo, require you to go single player in to instances to complete quests, turbine seems they just cat get away from insancing everything.
