Yeah you should watch the full video on the main site.  You can make your own race and call it whatever you want. 

I would love to see it like this though.  Not just being on Federation or Klingon, but other factions like traders and neutral people.....so there can be pirates or explorers selling intel and technology.  Supposidly there is going to be some form of those but I havn't heard much about it.

 EQ2 is nothing like WOW at all, LoTRO is more like WoW than EQ2 is.  LoTRO only wishes they could have such an indept character customization as EQ2.  Plus, why does everyone have to compare everything to WoW? There hasn't been a game put out there yet that has beaten WoW in quality and fun.  Thats not until WAR comes out that is.

I tried the free tiral of LoTRO and it needs a lot of work, the fighting in the game is so lame, unreal, and boring.  So is the character customization and graphics.  I'd give the game some cookies with the badges and stuff, but other than that the game is no more than a 7 in ratings.

I still can't believe people still care about this game enough to post stuff on it, like me..... I'm bored though so I have an excuse.

Plus how many people actually would play a MMO on a console? You're already paying your Live subscription which is what $60-80 a year (UK here so I don't know) then you'd have to pay an additional $15-20 on top of that for WAR, I can't see many people being willing to do it.

 

$60-$80 plus $15-$20?  Dude, most average gamers spend several hundred dollars on games.  I spend $60 easy going out to a nice play with the lady every week.  $100 extra a year is really like a penny in the bucket for us American gamers.  I know I spend at least around $1,000 a year on games a stuff, but games is all I do apart from deer hunting. lol :P

And for this game I'd pay that much more to play it, if I agreed that consoles would be alright to play with this game, which I don't.  Get a PC, its better.

Yeah 7.1 million ok and probably  less than 1% are willing to play this game on their xbox.  Then you look at the 67 million that play fantasy mmo's.  Not including everyone that plays online games.

Here is the problem.  You are limited by your console, not just by graphics, speed, memory, so forth, but just by lack of every quality a computer has.  The game would have to be dumbed down to meet the requirements of a 360, which now is nothing but a little laptop with a controller attachment. 

A guy playing from a 360 in a group would be like your retarded, slow friend that you have to wait for when going out somewhere.

If they do let consoles play in games, you'd be on a totally different server from the rest of the real game and only play with other 360'ers.  That'd be fine by me, but I'd rather the team put their effort into the actual PC game than to worry about you few 360 guys.

And whoever said the PC is dead, well its not.  We just have this ass called Bill Gates that wants to Monopolize everything that has to do with PC's, its the reason why MAC can't run games...because Gates owns every software to run them and no one wants to take the hard route and make a new system for MAC.

Personally I think Windows bites the big one and VISTA I'll never own....Hopefully someone will free us from Gates.  The man that sends spyware through his own WIndows updates to make sure your doing what your told.

But as far as computers, there is no limit to what they can do right now.  Not even comparable to a console.

Well, I think that this game is meant for the full experience of awesomeness PVP.  So Open PvP is for me.

This is going to blow all games in it genre out of the water, bye bye to WoW. Muahaha.

I have went back about 6 months ago and I did not enjoy it.  Maybe because it brought back bad memories, but the game did get better and was fun while it lasted.  I still think the game play is unlike any other mmo, but the fighting is still very slow paced and limited and everyone still looks the same. 

The bazaar is still unfair and I don't think that will change due to the GoldFarmers, but you never know unless you try for yourself.  Its most fun if you have some friends to play with of course, and if my friends stayed with the game I'd probably still be playing the game.

Have fun with what you choose though :D.

Well I wish someone would have stopped me when I spent the money to buy this game.  Its not a new game, its not even fun to me really.  The character customization is very dull, very dull, you'd think that Oblivion or SWG would have set a point with in depth character customization.  Though the people are usually armored up. 

Where is the Player housing?

Where is the unique features?

Graphics are not even great but takes a lot to run them...

Nothing cool about crafting....

Maybe I've played too many games in my days and expect an outstanding game that has it all, I.E.,  huge world, so huge that there is only one server.  Able to build your own city from scratch.  Inter-act with player building and NPC buildings with the game, like forts and so forth.  Totally customizing characters and a couple dozen classes to choose from.  Like your running around trying to do a mission or quest and out of nowhere a NPC comes over to you asking for help and over there hill is a little house being attacked by baddies and you have to help the NPC and what not.  like a real living MMORPG world.  Just something that will grab you and be like, wow.....

Other than that its just the same ol' same ol',  Its too much like another hyped up grinding game from PlayNC

But thats my opinion.
