yup. I have had my pve version Abaddon for 4 months now just running missions and such with it. My pvp BS i replace at least once every 2 weeks, if it wasnt for the pvp and item loss, battleships prices would skyrocket due to people never losing them, they would get inflated in price due to lack of demand. but because pvp causes item loss, there is a high demand for ships, and the prices stay semi reasonable. 

 

Dude what you jsut stated is exactly oppisite of what would acually happen. Supply and demand has shown that when things are less needed there cheaper to help get rid of them faster. As things become harder to get they go about in price because people are more willing to pay those prices to get what they need.
 

Isk in EVE is easy to come by once you get the hang of the game. I make 700 mill a day running complexes in 0.0 and thats only from a few hours work. I got people in my alliances that make billions passivaly from manufacturing and other lesser known methods. 

I just like the community really. No game ive played in the past ever had a system that tied players together so well. I feel like your actions in the game really do effect something and the game offers you ways of becoming famus. Take a guy name Chribba for example. He plays the middle man for all the big trades in the game. He has trillions of isk. PEople give him titans cus they know they can trust him to get them to the right person. Everyone who does a big trade in eve goes through him. I dont think theres one person in EVE thats been playing for over 6 months that doesnt know his name. He's just one of many people that have become known in the community.  You may not even become as famus as that but even being pilot in 0.0 helping your alliance get space is still just as good. With out you your alliance would never exist. 

I also enjoy how the game is just naturally fun. In WoW and just about every mmo besides EVE Ive always felt I had to find the fun. In EVE though as soon as I logged in my first time I was enjoying myself. No idea why but I was.

I acually do alot that doesnt involve pvp. Industry and trade has become my new favorite thing. Theres also missions and worm holes. You could come up with stuff like being a spy or a CEO/director. CEO's can spend there whole day jsut managing the corp if they want.

...that its not safe to say runescape was my first and best MMO experiance. Played for 2 years about 6 years ago. Never even heard of an MMORPG before runescape.

Also, EVE online would have to be my pick for an MMO that failed at start and now is definatly a success in alot of peoples books. Mine included.

Everyone needs to watch this fight. Its the final fight of the EVE online Alliance tournament. There was over 10,000 people watching it live when it happened and it had to of been the greatest fight in the tournaments history!

As a former EVE player with over 2 years gametime I can both understand your inability to comprehend what drives EVE Players to do what they do, as well as understand that what Unherdninja and others have tried to explain to you is also true.

So in summary EVE is a matter of personal taste and point-of-view....you either love it or you hate it....and most EVE players can't understand why others don't feel the same way about EVE as they do. As much as I will never "Fit In" as a player of EVE ever again,  I can still say I believe it to be the best MMO (all things considered) every created. Enjoy EVE Online if you can as it is very much worth your time and mone

I think he was simpling making a point that in EVE you can be an ass and get away with it. 90% of EVE has done an ass hole move before and the 10% that havent quit or are the ones that get pushed around. EVE in a cold dark universe. The last thing I want is for Every alliance to be allied because they are to nice to attack anyone. Nearly every war in eve has been provoked by ass holes doing something stupid.

 

So why pay to play a game with people who want to be *ssholes?  What is the point?  Is it a thrill?

People play a game where they can be assholes because they know they cant get away with it in real life. Is it cause there weak? Perhaps. It could also be because of law and such.

You also ask "Is it a male thing?" It could possibly be. I don’t want to get into this but we are animals and the male of any species thrives off pride(as well as other things).

Lastly, can you honestly say EVE would be more fun if everyone was nice to each other? There would be no reason to fight and everyone who was left in the game would just run missions. CCP designed EVE to provoke peoples dark sides to come out. Some people enjoy this. Those who don’t go spend there money on another game. EVE may not be for you but for me and many others, we enjoy the life.

Well most computers use one of 2 ram types. So basicly you have a 50/50 chance. But most comps use the first type and only a few use the other type. So unless your apart of the 10% or so(rough guess) pretty much any ram would do. If you want to be even more acurate, bring your ram to best buy and look for the biggest geek possible and he should be able to help.

Yea If you had collision between allies you could have people be asses and block off door way's and such and just go afk. It would cause chaos

You do not use an apostrophe to indicate plurals.

Apostrophes are used to indicate contractions (It's==It is) or possessives (The bee's knees). It is not used to warn the reader that an 's' might be coming.

Also, it should be "you're just being", that is, "You are just being". "Your" is used to indicate possession, again, "This is your boat". On the other hand, you *could* have said "Ur just being", so, props for not doing that.

It is a fundamental rule of the internet that any post critiquing grammar or spelling will, itself, contain such errors. It is unavoidable. I just found your (not you're) post especially amusing.
