Here is to Starsider. My first PA TIO and my last BSA. To my first and best friends in game Tomo and Slapor, who we spent countless hours in Bestine at the roulette table and slicing weapons and armor for people, and to later best friend Rylina (aka Preggers) and to everyone else from the days of old who made the game more than just a game. |

Which Title do you want to be BioWare's New MMO ?[Release Date: 2009] COME ON Target is 1000 VOTES !!!

I love the KOTOR series but as an MMO, I look at SWG and see what a game flooded with jedi looks like. Oh I know, its proper in the era of KOTOR....still, doesn't seem appealing to me.
I voted for Mass Effect. A more origional sci-fi setting which I think would be a great MMO. |

Certainly not bitter, no reason for that either.

lol wow I've gotten flamed for my little comment, most of you took it pretty seriously but if you would like, I could make an argument which would strengthen my position.
Those who haven't followed a game like TB are least likely to actually beta test a game if chosen to do so. They already have a lack of interest in the game so they may log on a few times just to play and then stop, thus wasting a spot for a more experienced and familiar beta tester who, like myself, would really like to see this game take off and be at its best at release. Now of course that doesn't mean EVERYONE, I didn't say EVERYONE. I'm sure most of you were going to say "NOT EVERYONE!" Stop right there because I didn't say everyone, would actually be that careless about the game in its testing phase. For some it may actually peak their interest into the game and they may become a valuable beta tester. But from my past experience with others and myself, if I wasn't into the game in the first place, my beta testing of the game is very poor. So continue to flame on. |

Wow....someone who knows nothing of TB got one of the keys.....if thats not a blow to the testicles, I don't know what is. These contests should have questions about the game, to prove you're knowledgeable about it.

Bugged and unbalanced it may have been but thats not what makes a game. Its the feel you get from it. I really felt like I was part of the star wars universe. We were not forced into pre-selected roles to follow, we could make our on decision to follow a path fully or mix them up. Then there is the community...was the community...full of life and living and commerce and combat. Not everyone was trying to be a hero, not everyone wanted to be. Everyone just wanted to live in the star wars universe.
It's so dumbed down now its heart breaking. The fact that we once had 32 professions which we could mix up and had that downgraded to 9 cookie cutters is insulting and disrespectful. I loved being able to group with 15-20 other people to take on rancors or getting together multiple maxed groups to take on krayts. Now they're all superheroes who can solo them all. Yes I'm ranting a bit but goddamn if it wasn't the best mmo I have ever played. I have never played another mmo as consistantly as I did SWG before the NGE...the CU was.....ok.....didn't like the changes in grouping and being able to get super buffed by doctors and solo everything but at least we still had a good community and a long range of how would could advance ourselves. I miss my smuggler. Selling slices and spices. I mean where the hell is that content now? Slicing weapons was a HUGE money maker...doesn't even exist ugh....sorry guys. hasta. |

Anyone else unable to play any mmorpgs since pre-cu?
