AoC (and players) run several polls on the official forums, time and again it shows the average player to be 29. Sorry to disappoint.

Fact: average player of AoC is 29. Users of xfire is MUCH lower. I have a guild of 200 and NONE of them (that i asked or posed on a poll i did) use xfire, two tried it but there was issues with it and aoc so no longer use it.

Im beginning to think people 'get off' on making troll posts. If the aim is to destroy the game then your going to have to do a bit better, but its made these forums completly useless for people who want to try out new games. If your actually over the required age to play AoC i think you need to step back and think about spending your time doing something constructive.

Now i have not played every MMO out there, but can someone give me a current game that has working player mobile siege engines and player structures that get destroyed in real time combat?  As in they do something more than just poof...like they collapse with real physics?

AoC, they collapse and burn. Going 'poof' is probably done to limit fps problems, is my guess.

I see the assholes are trying to find problems with that report as usual. Looks healthy to me, but what would i know? My guild is extremely active, my server is too, I cant complain.

that isnt new its inthe faq and actuly there was new info there. its nt instanced really its just has a slight loading going into the places. its in the faq actully.

Your right its near identical, except for the way better graphics in aoc and ofc the siege/city element. Although i believe wow is getting siege functions too. Cant think of anything else thats different.

People might remember me saying that the game is horrible, I had my reasons. Now I just want to ask some questions.

You now get xp again for gray quests. Id say at worst half a dozen grind levels if your too lazy to look for the quests/or do group quests. Its much faster to get to 80 that any other mmo ive played, which is a good thing.

Just not going to play until I'm able to enjoy it, which will be when it's a little further along on updates.

Funcom has fixed massive amount of problems, and have test servers up (for anyone to see) so they are properly testing content. For those that left due to 'unfinished or buggy content' i feel can come back and not experience the same. Im pretty sure half a dozen bugged quests isnt a game breaker anyway, which is what i encountered in my lvl 1 to 78 so far. Although some crafting things (gems in particular) were really screwed up which are now fixed.
